I have been taking my cars to Allens Wrench for years now, and wouldnt think of going anywhere else. Its always hard to find a mechanic you trust, and I trust them completely. I know that anytime something is wrong, it is something that needs fixing and they take care of it quickly and the price is always more than fair. We started going to this 5 star shop after Pep Boys bought Premier Auto (Harry;s place). I love how Dennis and Steve run this place. I cant say enough about how accomodating and fair they are with providing a service that is in the best interest of the vehicle and us as customers.Heres an example. My alternator went out on a 2005 Avalon one afternoon when we were going to let friends from MA borrow the car for their vacation in San Diego. AAA diagnosed the problem. Steve said drive it up here and let me take a look. And yes it needed an alternator (new battery and belt). They had it done by 11 am the next morning (with no appointment).These guys are simply the best! I love taking my 5 vehicles here. Thank you Dennis. Steve, Denny and the technicians that I dont yet know.

We just picked up a used Honda Pilot that was due for the 105K mile maintenance--timing belt, valve adjustment, tuning, etc. Was looking for an alternative to the dealership and found Allens Wrench. The reviews stood out so I went by for a quote. Staff was on-point: theyre all Honda pros who know the cars inside and out by model and year. Pulled the trigger and had them do the work. They went above and beyond in multiple ways and gave me a crash course on my specific vehicle. In my somewhat experienced opinion, Allens Wrench is a step above the dealerships in value, experience, and trust. Would recommend them to anyone with a Honda or Acura and plan to be a customer for a long time.

Very impressed with them. Brought my 96 Miata with a check engine light indicating a bad crank position sensor. Thought I would need a new one. Dennis called me and said it was just very dirty. They cleaned it and reset the code. Appreciate the honesty, as they could have told me I needed a new one and made more money.

Friends at work have recommended this place for years. I took a relatives Acura there after it had sat idle for a year and rats had invaded the engine compartment. Stephen was professional and friendly and had the car back after a couple of days. No major damage was found but a bad place could have easily gouged us. So nice to find an honest place.

Amazing service. I called with an issue and they found a way to take me in that day for an evaluation. And even better, they correctly diagnosed the problem, fit me in right then, let me add an oil change half way through the service and STILL got me out within 2 hours. These guys are GOOD!

I decided to give Allens Wrench a try because of all the positive reviews and I was not disappointed, these guys are great. They were able to get my car in the same day for brakes. Steve was friendly and helpful and provided a very reasonable quote for the work. Turns out I needed all new brakes and rotors and they did a fantastic job. The brakes feel like they did when the car was new, Im super happy. I will definitely be bringing my car back here for all service needs going forward.

So happy I was recommended to this place! After a horrible experience at Honda Escondido, went here for what I was told was a major oil leak. Steve knew the problem almost by phone and fixed my 2015 Accord with a quick, easy transmission sensor replacement.This place is honest and the people are great to work with. They have the parts for Hondas and know their stuff- better than the dealership! If I could give 6 stars, I would- they deserve it!

Brought in our car that was having issues accelerating. The staff looked into the problem and identified two potential issues. It is an older car and had significant corrosion or damaged parts that needed to be replaced. The cleaned the corrosion and told us to see if that helps before spending money to replace parts. Better yet, they did not charge us for the time the spent working on the car. Honesty and Integrity!!!!
