Johnboys Towing is a crooked business that deliberately takes advantage of its customers for money. My partners car was towed here after an accident and believed it wasnt going to run again. They choose to never inform us that we needed to sign the car over to them otherwise thousands of dollars would rack up in charges. Finally, they didnt inform us that we were even being charged until the total was over $3000. We are two young people trying to start our lives and are struggling in the middle of a pandemic.

These guys were awesome getting my Buddys BMW 1200 GSA out of a creek bed, 75 ft down a ravine, without doing further damage to the bike. Because of this he could ride the bike back to Moorpark, CA. Gordon came out with Cory and both were great! Also, reasonable charges for what they had to do.

Our RV broke down three miles outside Atascadero on highway 41 and Gordon from johnboys towing saved us from an otherwise unfortunate night, lifting our spirits with an infectiously pleasant mood. We were towed to a perfect location and provided with recommendations to local restaurants and auto supply stores, all at 11 pm. Was the best i can imagine having to have your vehicle towed going. Would recommend 10/10

Johnboys Towing is great. Have used this company several times. Highly recommend this company. They take pride in their trucks and the service they do. This is a family owned and operated company!! Remember - 805-474-HELP!!!On a side note, John and Balinda support the 5-Cities athletes. The company sponsors all the youth sports league some way or another. I have seen them write a check for a family that could not afford to pay for their boys to play football. Their trucks are always in the holiday parades hauling groups of kids. BIG HEART!!

Awesome customer service. My Super car was delivered in one piece SLO to OC without a scratch on it and in short notice. Johnboy’s will now be our preferred towing for our super cars.

Wow!! I can’t say enough good things about John boy towing. I’ve used them in the past to flatbed my 56 Chevy project car and recently for my 65malibu. Gordon was extra careful and even helped me get it in and out of my tricky garage. Great crew at the office and the owners are family. Johnboys towing took good care of me when my car broke down recently. The driver, Gordon, was not only knowledgeable, he was extremely courteous and communicated time of pick-up with accuracy. He was very safety conscience and took good care of my car. I definitely recommend Johnboys.

I will be using them in any future issues I have they were super helpful with everything. Previously to calling Johnboys I had called a different place and the dispatcher was rude wanted me to call back after they did shift change which wasnt for another 15mins. I am so glad I found Johnboys because from the first phone call they were friendly, helpful and got me the help I need within 10mins. Mike was who helped me tow my car from SLO to Nipomo and he was just as helpful and friendly. Definitely going to recommend this to all my friends and family if they ever need any help.

Were stranded in the middle of the carrizo plains, with a flat tire. Since the jack flipped we couldnt change the tire ourselves.All other towing companies dispatched by our dodge roadside assist center cancelled.In the area we were in was no 911 service available.But after 8 hours, it had become very dark (11 oclock at night) and there were scorpions all over the place, johnboys were dispatched.The cars battery died and we had no cellphone reception so our only hope was Johnboys.Gordon arrived 3 hours later.He was the nicest man and helped us with the tire.On our way back we came across CHP who were contacted by our roadside assist center.More than 7 towing companies couldnt find us or cancelled, but Gordon from Johnboys pushed through and found us at half past 2 in the night! God bless them!

Friendly helpful best experience ever

Tow car driver Gordon Wells did more than a tow truck driver. he identified the problem that got us stranded, took us to orilly to retrieve temp repair part and help us install it. so we could drove another 200 miles back to the bay area with the temporary repair with 200 miles. we did waited for a while for him to come but i believe it is the accounting coflict of my insurance and towing.
