I own and operate a small, local moving company in San Jose. I wouldn’t be in business if it weren’t for Carlos and Jared at the rental desk. They are always quick to confirm trucks and will go the extra step to find one if there is limited availability.I started going to Ryder for my rentals after places like budget and uhual dropped my reservations the morning I needed them, received the truck with little to no gas, or simply broke down. This is very embarrassing as a small business owner to not have a reliable source of trucks. Ryder has on site gas, so it’s received full and I can return it on empty. -5 stars! Who rents out filthy equipment. The truck they tried to rent me was beyond filthy. Ive seen crack houses that smelled better than that disgusting truck. Tires were bare, radiator had missing couplings, bumper was not attached on passenger side, and the list could go on. Step it up Ryder

Generally have the vehicle you want. Large disparity in vehicle quality. Some are extremely new, and some are held together with chewing gum and rubber bands. Same price for both.

Wait for ever for gas, all our vans have check engine light on, never see the same guy twice...
