If you’re looking for work and you’re dedicated in leveling up from your current position in life then People Ready is the place to start! If you can’t handle showing up on time (with a positive attitude, under any circumstance.) Along side with strong physical work ethic… then this work is not for you. But it’s a perfect starting point. If you can adapt. All 100% positive for me!
It was sort of emotional, thankful for all the help in the last 14 plus years. Im almost done. Farewell in advance.
They take forever to pay you, when it should be same day payment. They also remove you from work tickets without notice after the job has already told you they need you back.
The ONLY reason they dont get 5 is because they need more help and should offer a few more services. But the employees/staff are awesome. Very helpful and try there hardest to help all those who come through the door.
The professionalism the staff and employee members display is less than one star. People are rude, very unprofessional in appearance and demeanor and attitude. I would only recommend working there if you are desperate for money, half of the jobs dont fit the job description, you end up doing way more in unsafe working conditions and if you report it to the office they could care less.. very biast workplace.. alot of criminal scum work there as well along with the homeless.. not a good place to work. Actually got something stolen by a employee I was working alongside with. He only returned it once he got word that I was going to call the cops. The place is a joke
They have no control over their workers. Many days I have requested temp laborers from this location and they would not show up. The office would not call me and other times they had no idea where their worker was and why they were not on the job site. Other times they would say that it is difficult to find temps to work for what we were paying. We pay People Ready $26 per hour for temp labor to sweep and remove trash from job. How can this not be enough for unskilled temp labor? It is almost like they are too lazy to work. I have never had this problem in any other state I have ever ran a project. Only in CA.
They pay on time . Woman very rude they also act like they dont know how to remove you from jobstack till you get ahold of Human Resources in corporate and then its removed within like 2 seconds after she calls them pretty strange hopefully that stuff doesnt keep happening because I will keep calling corporate. It was like they want to hold you Hostage to there office and cant get tickets to like oh we dont know what to do you can come and get it ticket though or wait in the morning when were not supposed to wait in the morning everythings supposed to be done off the job stack app so if you dont have a phone you shouldnt be getting a job
I was cancelled a whole weeks worth of work because somebody who has been working for the company supposedly got the spot even tho i got it first. They threw me off the roster and didnt give a chance. Im gonna have a baby soon and the fact that i cant score a job because they kept cancelling me is stressful. I called back after receiving a cancellation notice and i was very polite but Mary picked up the phone and was VERY RUDE! She mustve been unhappy that day because i asked how come i am not fit for the job she said that i dont deserve to work on that sight because the job listing wasnt an open listing but literally on the app jobstacker all jobs are listings that dont say open or closed. Mary then hung up before i could say anything else. Since then i havent been able to score a job because when i get a listing and click on the address to see if the drive is doable i come back to the app and job listing is gone! it wouldnt be more than 5 seconds. So it sucks that you have to be super fast but its okay. Im just trying to make stuff happen with the condition im in. Im not lossing hope im just stressing more. Hopefully things change with marys attitude and stuff.
My sister in law had scheduled 2 people to help her move. We traveled 3 hrs to pick up the furniture with a trailer to b loaded by the movers. She called twice to confirm, even the day prior. We get there, no show. The office lady said it was cancelled. We waited for 3 more hrs, no help. So we left, without the furniture we drove 3 hrs one way for. The worst part, my sister in law was. scheduled to move back to Austin Monday. Now she cant until she can get rid of her furniture. Has to pay more rent. Not even an apology from the front office lady. Never will recommend them. They caused so much time and expense!!! With an oh well I tried to call the guys attitude, theyre not picking up, nothing I can do.
They are extremely unprofessional disrespectful to the clients that come in in the workers dont come in they talk down on people they dont know how to have any respect for anyone that comes to their front doors it was the worst experience by far from me and Id only need my husband we are only you know young people and Society trying to work hard for money not going hit somebody upside the head for it and these guys treat you like youre nothing like youre a grain of sand to them and I dont know if its because they have something going on outside of work or whatever but I feel like you should remain professional at your work place regardless of whats going on at home and then youre outside world but this isnt my first time dealing with these people and then being disrespectful I will never come back here
A pretty good place to work, or find employees.
I would never return. rude women, they do know the kindness.
I went. Saw sign they moved
