Their drive-thru outreach food program is a lifesaver for seniors who are on a fixed income. The volunteers are always friendly, personable and kind.
💯
I found so much joy by volunteering and get involved in my community.
Other people are all very friendly the staff is very professional and theyre helping out the homeless which I congratulate them on
For food, clothing. Help with utility and rent.
The Salvation Army: Great place to be. Thank You; for what you do for us. 😊
I have hope that my phone appointment will be taken into note that there is a possibility that i could be granted a rental deposit based on my luck thank you and have a grate day !
Great place. This Salvación Army realy help my famaly when I was young. They have after school programs and great chrismas dinners
Still have great deals also devil food pantries that seems pretty nice scepter knowledgeable and friendly
I have not personally need their help but I know that Salvation Army provides hot meals daily. Marthas Kitchen helps them once a week with meals they serve. They also help house those who are struggling to fight addiction and return to the community as responsible citizens.
Great place to eat, grocery, play bingo. For Senior Friendly
Salvation Army is a good place to get help for deposits rent water bills garbage bill and to get food if you need it through their food bank
For those who think the Salvation Army hates gays I can tell you that is NOT true. I know of at least one gay man in a senior management position in the local HQ who went through a drug/alcohol rehab program and found work within SA after completing. If there is any discrimination and word goes up the chain of command it is dealt with.
Nice
Great Staff Always Friendly and Helpful!
The go to place for used furniture nice selection as well as priceing is reasonable
Good place! Always helpful, and very kind!
I am always eat with the elderly! They. Wessel instead of fighting so that is that!
They do alot to help here
23 Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 2 “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3 So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 4 They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.
Good lunch & helps people👍
Terrible. Uses religion to discriminate against people who refuse to support their beliefs And you have to pay to stay. so if you are homeless without an income then you get zero help from the The Salvation Army San Jose that has well over a billion dollars in its accounts.
No customer service
They hate gay people what more needs to be said all salvation army will not help you out if you are gay
I love theyre helping people
Its a place where you can go to church and they have food for the homeless Im not quite sure what else they do though they supposed to know or give out vouchers for the motel hotel
Nothing special... Basic social services.and a meal 3 times a day Monday through Saturday
They do not respect the LGBT at all especially if you are Transgender. I call that place starvation army.
Awesome staff very friendly
The staff (women) who run the back office for help with PG&E/Rent, etc. Are: Bias, Unfriendly and have No business etiquette.- Anita Castro
