Great experience! I called for an urgent shower stopper issue, and someone was at my house within 3 hours. It was a tricky job and the tech was having some issues getting the part installed so a manager came out on his way home to provide some additional support. The matter was resolved in the same day. I called on a Friday at 4pm and Brian was on his way home. He chose to stop and help me out with a free estimate for a water softener system fix and a water shutoff valve even when he was supposed to be off work. He was courteous, nice, and did not hesitate to offer genuine advice and explanations. Would highly recommend Brian and the company, very quick to respond and kind.

In under 20m from when I called (on a Friday afternoon), there was someone at my house to diagnose the blockage in my sewer line, give me all the options with no hard sell, and in the end, fix my problem. I got a very detailed invoice, with lots of information and pictures, and the site was left in better shape than before the work. Id recommend the San Jose branch without reservations.

We had a serious underground leak at our commercial building, the San Jose water company came out and shut of ALL water without informing anyone! I had about 80 employees with no bathrooms or running water in the middle of the week! Mr. Rooter Plumbing was excellent! the customer service was awesome and the plumber that came out went over and beyond for our building at very fair prices!!!!! we will definitely be referring and using Mr. Rooter again! I only gave them one star because I had to. This company is so disrespectful. I booked and appointment Thursday between 4pm and 6pm. 6:05pm no one showed yet. I text the owner no response. 7:05pm I left the owner a voicemail stating no one showed. Its now Saturday and no one has gotten back to me. I also looked up bad reviews and found a few one stating this company over charges and one where they stated work was needed to be done but was not needed. This company is not in the BBB. Please do your research before hiring this company.

We worked with Brian, who was awesome! He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He was patient and did a great job explaining everything/answering our endless questions. He even worked hard to truly understand the root cause of our problem and identified that a cap was left in the pipes! We now feel confident in the decisions we made with Brians guidance and were able to resolve the true problem. Would definitely call Mr. Rooter in the event that we have any more problems! Highly recommended!

This company is a big scam. I called yesterday to see if they have free estimate for inspection, but the lady said theres $50.00 fee for inspection. I agreed then she asked what is the issues? I told her per property inspector, ABS drain lines in master bathroom and kitchen are cracks and leaks. Theres a young guy showed up next day, I showed him the pictures of those 2 drain lines from inspection report. He went down to crawl space then came up within 5 mins and told me I need to pay for additional fee to inspect the kitchen. He said the $50.00 is only for him to show up not for inspection. I dont pay $50.00 just for someone to show up. This is very unethical and dishonest company!!!!! Please be careful with this company..

Had a leaky toilet flush. The team from Mr rooter turned up earlier than expected and were able to talk me through the problem, the various options available, and then managed to fix the issue within 1 hour. They also have a 1 year warranty for the parts theyve fixed, which was reassuring

My review is based on scheduling and fees. JENNIFER scheduled my non-emergency appointment for 6 pm - 8 pm. I promptly provided all requested information. After coordinating with my landlord ($55 fee if youre not the homeowner), I provided my credit card information; AMBER would not take my credit card information before connecting with my Landlord. I received a call back from STEPHANIE to tell me that there is a $100 emergency fee for my appointment. I asked her why JENNIFER said there is no emergency fee for my appointment. STEPHANIE told me that their staff GAVE AWAY MY APPOINTMENT and I have to pay the fee. She said that it took a long time for my landlord to call back. This long time is less than one hour. If this is Mr. Rooters perception of time, how much will they bill for their TIME to work on job? After expressing my disappointment, STEPHANIE was merely accepting of it. She never apologized at all. It would be better had they told me about the additional fees BEFORE they took my credit information. She didnt even give me a new appointment time. There is NO VALID EXPLANATION for the additional $100 fee. Nothing else changed since JENNIFER gave me the non-emergency appointment for 6 pm - 8 pm. I do not recommend this business due to lack of transparency and honesty.

I had Ruben come out to my house on an emergency at about 2am in the morning. My main line that runs out to the street broke and caused flooding. Ruben did everything he could at that time so that we could make it through the night/morning. Gabe also came out to assist. Ruben returned at 8 am in the morning to continue to fix the broken pipe and get us back to normal. Ruben worked as quickly as he could under inclement weather, he was on time, knowledgeable, friendly, and answered every question I had. I highly recommend these guys. I am forever in there debt for getting me through what could have been a huge disaster.

Sal did an excellent job for us. He arrived on schedule and completed his drain cleaning within 30 minutes. He was pleasant to work with and highly professional.

Bruce and Henry came out to snake our drain, ended up having to do that twice, and installed a clean out. Someone, maybe prior owner, had flushed a bunch of wipes (a no-no!). Repairs were done on the rainiest, coldest days so far this season (Jan 2018). They were great to work with in spite of the conditions.

Mr. Rooter responded immediately to my request and called the following morning to confirm time technician would arrive.Sal arrived within half hour of confirmation call, he was clean and covered his shoes to not track any debri into the house. He was corteus and quick.I will continue to count on Mr. Rooter for any future needs.

Mr. Tom Armbruster was the second technician sent out on the second day. He was calm, patient, and extremely helpful in solving the problem left by the first responder. The first responder was not from Mr. Rooter but their helping company who responded because the original appointment could not be kept by Mr. Rooter. It was a night and day experience for me. I highly recommend Mr. Tom Armbruster for any and all work as he was courteous, knowledgeable, direct and courteous. He explained everything and made his suggestions and put it all in legible writing.Plus he picked up after himself and left the area clean and dry unlike the original responder. Mr. Rooter called back the first and said no one would be able to come by tonight. Few mins. later another person called and said Ruben would be onsite within the hour. Ruben came a little later than an hour but Ruben was very polite and professional. He took care of the drain problem within 30 mins. of arrival. Would use Mr. Rooter again and recommend them.
