Fridge, no microwave.& Negative: On 8/12/21 the staff member was initially unaccommodating. Lied about room availability which was odd. With some push, able to change rooms. No matter HVAC malfunction all night making room in breathable. Contacted Marriott CS initially unhelpful.

Positive: Its a modern and well maintained property. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff always greeted you when leaving or entering the property. Negative: The on property restaurant had a very limited breakfast menu for purchase, so we chose to eat out at a local restaurant. Minor inconvenience for a clean and comfortable room.

Also, Suggested Area Restaurants that I can go to, that Are within Walking Distance of the Hotel!! Ethan is Very Friendly and Extremely Helpful; He is the Best!!! This is the Service that One Expects, in the Hospitality Industry!!! Absolutely, the Best Way to Close My Day, with SUPERB Customer Service!!!... 10 Star Service!!!...

Delightful room with a different orientation. Great color scheme. First glass shower ive been in that didnt leak like a sieve. Need more than one regular coffee in the room. Decent tv selection. Smoking is allowed at this hotel within a few feet of the door. During loading/unloading your car, you will be exposed to smoke if anyone smokes. They should fix this and make people smoke next to the outside pool - I mean somewhere far far away from the door. Except this issue, this is an amazing place to stay, one of the best in the Bay Area: extremely friendly staff, new furniture, extremely clean, new building, great location - next to highway and Target.

Positive: I liked that the hotel was close to Levi Stadium. I purchased the room to have a place to sleep after an NFL game. Negative: receptionist too 20 minutes to tell us there were no rooms available for check in at 4pm, even after I explained we were in a hurry for a 5:30pm game. Hotel had free shuttle, but shuttle driver dropped us farther away, adding 1 mile to the 1.5 mile walk

Check in was horrible. A room wasn’t available when we checked in at around 4:15PM. They said we had to wait for a room to be available. We even called earlier to see if we can check in earlier and nothing was available which is fine. As a guest visiting from out of town and have stayed at other Marriott’s this is unacceptable customer service!!

My husband and I found this hotel to not be clean. The floors in the hallway was not vacuum well. There was trash found on our room floor behind the door.The doors had so many hand prints on them we went and got our own cleaner to wipe the areas in our room again.. The pillows were so soft our neck hurt after use. The TV internet connection for viewing programs was very restricted and limited. The people working there were very nice and gave the best service avaliable. We will try the one by the airport next time.

We booked this hotel becouse of the resterant, pool, and bar witch states its all open. So when we checked in we found out resterant was closed, bar is closed and they only let 6 peaple in the pool hot tub area I asked to swim they said it was booked and nobody was using pool and they still said we could not use it. We have a pull out bed in our room and the desk person said he could not get us any pillows for it or a blanket the fridge doesnt even get cold very disappointed with the whole experience I will be asking for a refund

Its a relatively new hotel so the rooms and facilities are great. The rooms are on a smaller side though and the sofa bed was a bit lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep in.

Positive: When I used the laundry room, 3 times machines took money without function. The front desk clerk was very nice about the whole thing and issued refunds immediately after each one. Two tvs, a sofa, excellent shampoo...lots of entertainment choices... Negative: The laundry machines. The TV and remote would not allow me to access closed captioning. With my hearing loss it is a must. They didnt even have manual access on the tv to the settings. Remotes provided free by Netflix Im guessing.

Wonderful experience. The room was really big to fit my girls, and cozy. I was very happy for the blue couches. The hotel was very clean and in a perfect location specifically if you are heading to the golden gate bridge. The swimming pool was an a must for a Family. The hotel service was very nice, and the employees were very friendly.

Very convenient as hotel is surrounded by Target and plenty of eateries like Panera bread. If the room comes with breakfast, then just order it by the restaurant in the lobby. They can also pack the breakfast if needed. Room was huge too but it came with small fridge so not suitable for long term stay.

The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. Love the fact that they provide a mini fridge. Shares a parking lot with Target, so we were able to walk over and do some shopping. The only problem we had was that the beds were too firm for us, but you cannot please everyone with the right firmness. Check in was smooth and the front desk people were very friendly. There are parks close by to get out and sight see. Some decent restaurants in the area.

Had a great stay at the Courtyard San Jose North/Silicon Valley. The property is great, as are the folks who work there. If you are familiar with the Courtyard brand, this was squarely in line with their experience. The property was modern and consistent to others across the US (great job - keep adding USB ports in the room). The entertainment system on the TV was not the traditional LodgeNet and that was a welcome departure from what I have become familiar with. Word to the wise - if they offer a low floor, take it. The elevators are very, VERY slow and the stairwells are not close to the elevators.One nice perk to the property is that it is adjacent to Target and there are several restaurants within walking distance.

With the Marriott being considered a high end hotel, I expect excellent service no matter what. Having been checked in with no gift bag as a rewards member, having no access to a cart to bring in our items to our room and staff not ensuring to gather them prior to their next rush of check ins and not being in any way moved to assist. In addition the parking is always an issue there was a football game the night we checked in and having a parking lot that is not patrolled made it unsafe for the family walking in after having dinner. Finally, the breakfast in the morning took longer than expected for the price, but the convenience is what was best.

We had a lovely stay! The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The room is big and really comfortable - the bed is really cosy! Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend for any kind of trip- short or long.

Positive: Close by location I was working in. Negative: HUGE any problem. Ants in both rooms I was placed in but the 1st had hundreds of ants in restroom and it looked like several ant hills on counter top and under sink in 1st room. Second room was milder case but still restroom had any problem.

Nice location and very clean hotel. Only issue is there is a shared parking lot with nearby businesses and it would be nice to see more of a security presence monitoring due to high crime bay area.

Outstanding stay. Love the consistency of excellent customer service and standards here. In addition, love the fitness center, self serve laundry, rooms and the central location within the Silicon Valley (great freeway access and able to get anywhere in the bay area within 20-30 mins). This is my 3rd time staying and will definitely stay again.

Ive spent a couple hundred nights in this hotel. It was the cheapest Marriott near(ish) to where I was working. Except for a couple of the night staff, Ive always experienced great service. I always enjoyed some late night conversations with the security guard and bartender. This place is also right next to some great restaurants. Target being right there is another bonus; even if Target has the quality of soggy bread, its a great place to grab anything you might have forgotten.

I spend a week in the hotel, visiting my companys HQ. The location is great! Free parking next to it, a good restaurant and shopping options just across the street, and even Target just a few steps a way.The room was well equipped for the stay, with free WiFi, very comfortable bed and shower, and a very nice coffee making options, with a refrigerator, coffee maker and supplies. For a business trip, this place is great. Not just the room offers the option for in-room work (comfortable chair, wired network, etc.) but there are also options in the lobby, which makes it very simple to complete you tasks if you need that extra time after hours.The place is clean, and tidy, and the staff are helpful and nice.

I needed a clean, quiet room to sleep in while on company business and this Marriott provided exactly that. Free breakfast as an added benefit would have been even better, but the basic requirements I had was met well. I also liked the fact that, rather than charging me $5 for each bottle of water it was provided free at the desk. The desk clerk was also very accommodating to allow me to pick up some extra water as well.

Negative: I can hear the noise from the highway as it is next to it. This was uncomfortable as I am noise sensitive.

The hotel is modern and nicely decorated. The rooms are big and there’s lots of space. I had two big beds and a desk and easy chair. Fridge and microwave and coffee. I could stay here for a longer time. It’s also located next to a Target ( with Starbucks) that one can run over to easily and grab food& stuff. The bistro in the hotel is open limited time. The food options are limited. I tried a salad for dinner which was good. There were breakfast to buy which I never tried. I wish it was included. There’s is a nice outside dining area. There is a pool and hot tub, which I tried. It was great. The fitness center is open 24/7.

Some of the staff were friendly! The breakfasts was delicious. I loved the pancakes and avocado toast! I just wished someone informed me about food and room service hours. The hot tub and pool were very nice. I liked the colors inside. They were going for a modern look but reminds of an airport lounge. The courtyard I wished was bigger but the property is right off highway. It is in a great location. I loved all the restaurants within walking distance and target for forgetful people is great also.

Weve had two events at this Courtyard marriott and the service was always outstanding! Each time Cassie Pineda worked with us and provided excellent service! Her patience and professionalism was outstanding! In addition we had a block of rooms each time and our stay was excellent, the hotel and the rooms are beautifully modern, the best lounge area Ive ever seen at a hotel with modern furniture, televisions, and many private areas to work on your laptop or at one of their computer stations. The rooms are immaculate with very comfortable beds. I had the room with two TVs and a sofa bed so it was perfect for our family. Especially love that you can log on to your Netflix account. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay and for your events. The ballroom (150 ppl) is beautiful and the perfect place for an event. Theres a courtyard adjacent to the ballroom for people to lounge in thats so nice, and the waitstaff they provide is excellent. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

The interior is new and modern. Rooms are well maintained and clean.The location is a shopping center adjacent to a freeway. The good part of this is there are lots of restaurants within walking distance, and if you want food for your in-room microwave you can buy it at the Target next door. It isnt a particularly scenic locale, however.Prices were high but competitive

Great location and newer than a lot of the nearby hotels. Rooms are great, beds comfortable, nice shower pressure, and plenty of room. Best part though is how nice and accommodating the staff is at the little bar/cafe. They went out of their way every time to do things perfect from homemade mix for a margarita to a special breakfast sandwich because Im allergic to eggs. Definitely a great place to stay.

Service was good at the desk except back office failed to tell front of house about my company paying the hotel bill.Breakfast at The Bistro was good - it would be nice to have a bed and breakfast option.Rooms are nicely appointed and big! Housekeeping was very good.Two complaints - 1) room AC was turned off and windows left open so was hot when I arrived. 2) rooms facing the 237 highway are very noisy in the morning starting around 5:30am - 6:00am.

The bar and breakfast on offer were both great. The only downside was the noisy pipes next to my room for a few minutes in the morning. Other than that the stay was fine for a work trip.

Stayed at the hotel for business and had a great experience. Even though my room faced the freeway I found that it was not that noisy and I liked the fact that there was earplugs and tea to help to get a good night sleep. I did not need to use either.

I threw a 50th birthday party for my husband at this hotel. Both the service and the setting was top-notch. From the beautiful lobby with its earth tones and modern aesthetic to the outdoor lounge with its pyramid-shaped heating lamps. And the staff was not only friendly but they aimed to please and did their best to accommodate all of our needs. My party guests were highly impressed with this hotel. My husband actually wants us to come back on another weekend just for us to relax and enjoy the amenities. We will definitely be back.

I loved staying at the Courtyard San Jose North/Silicon Valley. The hotel was modern and clean, felt new. Staff was informed and friendly. The hotel has great food and coffee options. Additionally, it is located right across from a strip mall that has about 10 restaurants and a CVS in case you forgot your favorite toiletries. It also very convenient to a Major Highway and Main streets that make getting to most Silicon Valley Companies a breezy. It is very convenient to the new Levis stadium, a plus if you are a football fan!

The room and the common areas were extremely clean. The colors/decoration in the room were minimal, calm and appealing. The staff were very courteous and friendly, providing assistance when needed. I stand by my overall rating and would not change it, but if asked what could be done better I would recommend serving a breakfast. Even if the breakfast is a simple continental selection, it would be helpful to the traveler to have the option. Overall my stay was very good and I would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others.

Free shuttle service was great. We were shuttled to and from a local movie theater, and the driver was friendly and engaging. The hotel décor and space layout was really impressive. The fruit-infused water in the lobby was a classy touch. The staff were great. Also loved the location. We got coffee and had lunch at local places, just a short walk away. Target store right next door in case you forgot something for the trip.

Perfectly adequate hotel in the middle of Silicone Valley Tech. Convenient to mega stores and restaurants and close to the airport. This courtyard will be a good base of operations for the dot-com traveler.

Large comfortable rooms. Very clean, modern and well maintained washrooms. Sitting area and large desk for work. Friendly staff. Hotel is located right beside a Target, sharing same parking lot. There is a coffee/take out style restaurant by lobby with sitting area to grab a quick, healthy breakfast.

The hotel looks inviting, parking easily accessible, shared with the convenient Target next door. Room decor and size was great and mostly clean. Disturbing waist-level opaque stains on sheer curtain, and a missed straw wrapper under the bed. Bathroom very clean apart from a couple of stray hairs in shower. Other than that, spotless. Bed was extremely comfortable with four decent pillows and one decorative. Room facing front of hotel (not the highway in the back) was quiet, but hallway noise (doors closing, people talking) was notable. TV was barely adjustable enough to view from bed. Table service in the restaurant is a joke. If you are by yourself, call ahead and pick it up. Restaurant staff did not notice me after 15 minutes. This was not a secluded booth, but in the center of a mostly empty seating area at 7PM on a Monday. WiFi is open and unsecured. A few slowdowns at peak times (morning mostly). Wired internet did not work in my room. No issues with A/C unit. Did not visit gym. Did not use pool, but it looked nice from my room. I would stay here again.

Clean, welcoming space. Rooms are large and tastefully appointed. I definitely appreciated having a sitting area separated from what would be considered the bedroom. Good amenities with restaurant and bar in the hotel and a whole bunch of stores and restaurants nearby. Just dont expect to get a view as the hotel overlooks the freeway. This contributes noticble road noise so if you are a light sleeper keep this in mind.

This is my favorite Courtyard Marriott property. Its modern, has very attentive staff, and a good selection of high quality food and beverage items in the bistro for breakfast and light dinners. Good gym although it could use a couple more machines for peak periods, laundry room is a great option for those long trips. Free parking and a Target next door for your travel needs. Close to highways and short drive to desirable locations and venues, including Levis Stadium and the Great America Park. Just 20 minutes for SJC airport.

Everything is new. I stayed the first week. My employer is close by and I am a Marriott guy to my core. They have worked-out the bugs -- for example, early on, they had a shuttle but no driver. This was a ground-up build so it is in the current layout, look and feel of Courtyards. Staff is helpful and have the right Marriott spirit. Book early. They fill up fast. They must run near 100% occupancy. As the law of supply and demand works, the price shows the demand.

I attended a professional event at the hotel. The rooms were clean, the temperature was well managed, the acoustics were good. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable. The luncheon provided by the hotel was good, if simple. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was plenty of free parking and the location was easy to find. No real complaints.

My boyfriend and I were enjoying a really quick stay in San Jose near Santa Clara over the weekend to meet our newborn nephew. I happened to find this hotel, which was less than a mile from my cousins place. We were very impressed with the spaciousness of the room & bathroom, the convenience of checking in and out, and the cleanliness of the entire premises. We also felt the price point is excellent for the area (especially if you join the Rewards Program). Everyone from the hotel staff we encountered was very kind and welcoming. We didnt get a chance to try the hotel restaurant and cafe, but it looked good from what we could see. The location is also right next to Target (with a Starbucks inside), making it easy if there are any last-minute necessities! There are also plenty of eating options, a Coffee Bean, and a CVS in the plaza across the way. We know well have more visits up to this area in the future, and we are definitely coming back here!

Our travel softball team stayed at your hotel. Everyone loved it. Rooms very clean. Housekeeping and other staff very nice and attentive. Had King Suite, King Comfy, Sleeper sofa okay. Will DEFINITELY use this hotel for future stays. Loved that there was a Target in the same parking area. SO CONVENIENT!!! Worth the money spent.

It was great to be able to stay in the same hotel as my meeting. It made it very convenient. The fun part was experience a 4.0 Earthquake my sencond night. been a while since I experience one of those. Other than that, the staff was great and the food as always meets the needs. I do like how they mix it up for the seasons.

In fact the opposite - the whole team were helpful and the service was very good.Breakfast was served quick and efficiently.Fitness Center is new. Perhaps a few more exercise mats would be good for when it gets busy but overall good.No problems in recommending this hotel.

Great location if you ensure a room non-freeway facing. Friendly and efficient staff. Room request/preferences were all addressed in advance. Beware of noisy neighbours as the walls are thin with no sound insulation.

The location of this hotel is convenient if you need to do business near Levi Stadium (Santa Clara). The 101 and 237 are right near the hotel, not that either one of them move very efficiently, but thats California Freeway traffic! There are a few decent restaurants walking distance from the hotel, a business park where you can run, and a department store out front where you can buy any necessities.The views from your hotel room are nice: You either see Levi Stadium or the Mountains. The view inside the room is nice too as the rooms are very modern and the property is kept in very good condition. The staff is top-notch and very attentive to guest needs. I stay in this hotel whenever I do business in Santa Clara.

Very friendly staff! The front desk staff even listened to me and gave me a top floor room at the end of the hall, but there were a ton of little ants in my bathroom and on the main door frame. I never complained because I got the cheap friends/family rate & I didnt want them to move me to a louder room. Theres definitely an ant infestation in room 504, hence the 4 stars.
