We love this place. Master Zhao is amazing with all the students, of any age. My son has been going there for almost 2 years now, and he always wants to go enthusiastically. Its a family business and you never get a feel of big corporation mentality on the way they run it. They always go extra miles to make sure everything is going smoothly. Master Zhao is great with kids and my son cannot wait for his practice days to come. Master Zhao and Sylvia also help with all the arrangements for the annual competitions, from the registrations to the day of competition. They are very caring and very professional at the same time.
I had learned Kung Fu for a couple of years from many sifus from the Shaolin Temple in China. Since I was very young, I had always wanted to learn Kung Fu from the Shaolin Temple monks.Zhao sifu is the closest one to what I have imagined as someone who had disciplined for decades in the temple. I think he teaches the most traditional way of Shaolin Kung Fu, stressing power and speed. Even many sifus from the same famous temple, they have their own styles. I think his style is more round than being sharp in traditional Shaolin poses. I like it that way, it seems more authentic to me. As a teacher, he is very tolerant and sharp. Btw, I dont speak Mandarin and I am not Chinese.
