We are in the middle of a pandemic and this business does walk in only M-F!That translates to episodes of way too many people waiting to be seen. They also didn’t have their seating area spaced adequately either. It felt unsafe and their throughput was inefficient as you don’t have any idea where you are in their waiting que. I needed urgent films and couldn’t wait to schedule on Saturday, so I waited outside their lobby for about almost an hour before I was seen.But, on the upside the staff was professional and friendly.

My experience was my first time and it was very good. The lab personnel were very good and the staff at the front desk etc were very helpful and good as well. I am hoping that I can get the rest of my radio experience with them again. I have asked my doctor to refer me there for any additional appointments for reidradiology at your location. Thanks again. The technician Andrea was super!Normally, Mammogram is not a pleasant thing to do. But with Andrea, I have to say its a wonderful experience. Not only because shes trying her best to make the procedure as smooth as possible, but also her genuine warm-hearted attitude made me feel that she truly cared about you. I felt that she liked her job and patients very much. I was really touched by her caring words and much more beyond...To be honest, this was my best experience of doing mammogram.Thank you so much, Andrea!!Thank you so much, Samaritan Women’s Center!By the way, my appointment time: 7/16/2021 at 3pm.

Walk-in service was very practical for us as I needed to have an X-ray right after a doctor visit.I waited an hour, but totally understand it because I saw that each staff and radiologists were taking good care of each patient.I prefer waiting for good service rather than being quickly served with terrible service.We could have our x-rays in hand when leaving. How wonderful.Thank you!

Chris was my MRI technician. He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable by explaining everything very clearly. All the staff members I encountered were very nice. The wait time was reasonable. I would definitely recommend Valley Radiology Samaritan.

I had an appointment at 12.40 and asked to come at 12.20. I went on time and was informed there was no appointment. After requesting multiple times to check, they confirmed they saw it under another name - I have only only name on ID and card.Then they made me wait until 2pm for my scan. Just made me sit in a room and no one bothered until I asked them to look into it.Very bad customer service and horrible experience. They need to honor their appointment times.

I’ve been here a few times over the last ten years for various things, all pretty scary at the time. Every time I go, they are so kind and helpful. From the staff at the front to the technicians in the back, the service is consistently remarkable. They’ve always taken my mind off why I’m there. They are fast, even when there is a wait they do their best to accommodate and get everyone serviced if possible. The results are prompt and what I love most is my easy access to results online. Keep up the great work y’all! You’re making a difference in lives by the work you do and the hospitality you extend.

While I was signed in quickly and thoroughly, I had to wait for over an hour before I could be imaged in the MRI. The technician did apologize but that was a bit much.Otherwise matters were handled quickly and directly.

Three phone calls, three 15 minute holds before talking to a person. First call, gave up and decided to call again at a better time. Second call, the next day, was told they did not receive the referral fax. Called my doc and verified the referral had been sent to the right number. Doc staff said they would send it again immediately. Third call, six hours later, I was told they did not have the referral, because they needed time to process it. That was it for me. Sending my business elsewhere.

First receptionist lady was rude towards me but no one else (perhaps discriminatory or because it was my first time there) took half an hour to get processed by the desk lady who was nice. after that it was relatively quick since the place was full.

I was given somebody elses receipt & didnt realize it until I got home. I contacted the other patient & was able to send her her receipt. I called the Valley Radiology number to get my receipt sent to me. They said theyd email it, but what I was sent was not a receipt, rather a demand statement request. Upon looking at that document, it became clear I was overcharged. But it gets worse! Apparently, when I called to request my receipt, they didnt update my physical address in the system, so a hard copy was mailed to a location where I dont even live. Sure, the x-ray was fine, but the billing & documentation aspect has been a nightmare! Now Im left dealing w/trying to get my money back.

The experience was good overall, my X-ray tech was outstanding and was very pleasant to work with. The check in process was far slower than anticipated as there was not a great deal of patients awaiting service. Though I did not have an appointment, the checking in took around 90 minutes. Once I was taken back, I was completed in 20 minutes. The total experience was nearly 2 hours. I would think a reasonable time allocation would be an hour at most.

We took my Father in law who had a travelers insurance to get a scan. They made us wait for 2 hours and would not give us any information about appointments or payments, we mentioned we are wiling to pay out of pocket too. Finally they got back saying they dont have appointments until end of October.They were absolutely arrogant and treated us extremely poorly, even when we mentioned that my father in law was in lot of pain and is finding it hard to wait.We called them twice the previous day to get appointment and information and we were on hold for more then 45 minutes each time.

Today I accompanied my dad to do a CT at Valley Radiology at Samaritan drive. The process was super smooth. We feel very well received in particular the lady at reception who was super nice and I just wish all places we go would have someone like her at the front desk. Plus the physician who did the scan for my dad was also very professional and caring. I’ll definitely pick this Samaritan place if ever I have to come back in the future.

This lab is great. The woman who checks people in is so helpful and really pleasant as well as knowledgeable. I came in without my X-Ray order and she found it for me online from my doctor, I was relieved that I didnt have to cancel and come back. She is consistently kind to everyone even difficult patients. X ray tech was fast and explained everything.

Staff pleasant and generally helpful. Unfortunately I was there on an extremely busy day and had over an hour wait for X-ray. When I asked if I could make an appointment and come back later, I was told no appointments for X-rays! Why is that??? Maybe you need to rethink your policy. If it wasn’t for that I would have given 5 stars!

Quick walk in X-ray. Was checked in the aired like 5-8 minutes done in 10 minutes. I did not know that X-RAYS only are walk-in...NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED! Was there in total 20 minutes from start to finish. By far, VRI Samaritan is always fast and quick!

I dealt with Valley Radiology at Good Sam Hospital, scheduling never called me; so, after a few days I called and got an appointment at that time was informed where to go and how early to be there and to get picked up 2 hours later. When arrived at procedure, I was questioned about bloodwork necessary that I wasnt told about, I was told it would be 3+ hours after procedure to be picked up (actually was 5) and upon release was given 24 hours of instructions(lay flat!), but no info on any restrictions after that. As well the phone number was Valley Radiology general number, I left 3 messages that first day for more information on after 24 hours on 4/3 and still have NOT gotten a call back!

Getting an MRI is never fun, but the staff at Valley Radiology was awesome! They were timely, followed all Covid protocols and above all they were incredibly friendly.This was my first time getting an MRI and the technicians who helped me were professional and kind. The process was smooth and direct.What I am most grateful for is they called me immediately after I left to let me know I left my necklace, something very important to me and kept it safe until I got back.Thank you so much for making this a good experience!

I arrived and was greeted by a great lady she took all info said 20 minutes only a couple people there. 45 minutes later the registration lady finally called me. All of those waiting and several others for x-ray had already gone back and finished. Another 10 minutes they finally called me back after yet 10 more minutes finally had my 3 minute x-ray done. If it is first come first serve and you cannot make an appt I should have been done much sooner. I was in so much pain this wait was excessive.

This is a busy lab and the staff was very organized and I had a very short wait. I had a CT scan and was done and out in no time!A month later, went in for PET Scan and received the same excellent care. Super efficient and organized check-in process with very friendly staff. However they started my exam almost 30 minutes late even though I arrived 30 minutes early like they advised. Waiting an hour for a scheduled exam is a little disappointing. The friendliness of your staff keeps your rating higher, because your timeliness is one-star.

One woman in the front was very rude to people coming in, personally I didn’t speak with her but while I was there she was speaking to others very loudly and in a way that would insinuate they didn’t know what they were talking about. But everyone I had an experience with was kind and professional. Good service, just make sure you get a tech that knows how to find a vein if you need contrast with your mri haha.

The staff were very friendly and the environment was safely set up. Chairs were set 6 feet apart and staff were wearing masks. The radiologist did a poor job in two areas. First, despite my reminder that I had small veins on my right arm, they used that arm to inject for contrast and after two failed attempts, they decided to try the other arm and succeeded. Though, a few days later my right arm is still bruised. For contrast, they had to process me twice. For the first time, they told me to hold on to a button (a small ball shape device) and squeeze it if I needed help while inside the tube. As they rushed to inject into my left arm, they did not place the button on my hand and started the second procedure. As I was leaving, the radiologist who poked me twice and failed kindly reminded me to drink lots of liquid. (not because I bleed but because to wash the contrast substance out of my system). These might not seem big deals if you do this many times a day, but for patients, these are big deals as we place our trust on you to do a flawless job, scanning our body for any signs of problems and if you do not handle the basic tasks well, it could be concerning.

I would not recommend VRI to any patient who is never had an MRI. The whole experience was very different than anything I’ve ever experienced before. My recommendation would be to be a little more interactive during the procedure. Putting a patient into an MRI machine with zero interaction throughout the procedure seem very cold and uncaring.Unfortunately I’ve had many MRIs in my life time and one of the things that I find very reassuring is to have a voice come on during the exam letting me now what to expect next and how long the series the last.Placing a patient who may or may not be claustrophobic in that machine without any communication during the process seems to me Cruel.

If you don’t have to come here I would suggest you to go somewhere else for your Imaging needs! The appointment department is literally incompetent. I was trying to schedule an HSG appointment which has to be done within 8-10 days of the first day of my period and I called on the first day of my period and then had to follow up every other day for them to confirm with my insurance if they need authorization. It took a whole week for them to do anything. I had to call again on the following Monday after 12 pm like what they suggested me to do and they said ok I see you don’t need authorization for this appointment which I told them already. Then they scheduled an appointment for Tuesday morning since I guess they had no other times available! They called me back at 5:30pm telling me they might cancel my Tuesday morning appointment cause they didn’t know if my insurance covered this appointment! The lady was like they will call you in the morning around 7am to confirm and remember my appointment was the same day at 8am. Again I had to call Tuesday morning at 7:30am to confirm if I was even allowed to go to this appointment. Just booking this damn appointment was a nightmare!!! But the only upside of this place is that the technician and radiologist was super nice and helpful. But honestly I would go somewhere else to avoid all the headache if you can!

The staff was very impatient with me. I am 87 years old and I informed them that I am handicapped and would need assistance to get up on the table for the MRI. They did not get a lift to help me and they were rushing me. I am a fall risk and I felt very rushed. I would not recommend for a handicapped person to come to this facility.
