You never answer calls, You accuse innocent people of fraud, and you ignore evidence that contradicts your claims. Just tear down the edd and build a new organization with people who can actually do their jobs!

Instead of storming the capitol perhaps we should storm EDD instead. Ive tried to contact them for over two months, no reply. The phone system is an endless looping of unwanted information. After 15 mins you get dumped. The management and web designers dont deserve any stars.
The public it suffering while these offices remain closed. EDD knows that they dont have the capability to handle applications online and over the phone because a surge of applications. They are so many people who have gone without unemployment benefits because they refuse to open and serve the public. Why make it incredibly difficult for applicants to get in contact with your organization, it makes more sense to open the offices and to set up social distancing guidelines!! People pay into their unemployment benefits and they should never have to beg for them. This is extremely disappointing.

The Government really needs to allow the EDD offices to open back up! This is essential for people unemployed and or partially unemployed due to pandemic. The people you have answering the phones dont even want to talk to us. I cant tell you after fighting to get thru on the line and waiting for hours to get a LIVE person they hang up on me (several ppl) because my they dont know what to tell me because my claim keeps getting rejected and no one can tell me why. Im self-employed and the problem is that your system is not use to taking claims like this so therefore rejects us!!! I filed 2 months ago with still no answers!!! I have a feeling there will be lots of Lawsuits against the State of California because of the Pandemic if they dont fix the basic problems. Take note of everything and every conversation people.
Im very disappointed that they cant help with UI Online they ask for you to call the 800 numbers to talk to edd but when you do that theres no way of getting a hold of them, everytime you call one 800 number, its tells you to call a 833 number, then that number tells you to call another number and so on untill your frustrated about not being able to get help. I applied for Pandemic Benefits back in March 12,2020 and i qualified with a new email, because i wasnt able to log into last years email. Then in April 22 i get Certification for 2 weeks and so i certify and untill now May 16, i still have not gotten paid. I certify again tomarrow but im sure there probably not going to pay again. Fml
I honestly have had a pretty good experience with the office. The clerks have answered my questions to the best of their ability. If they couldnt, they have been very helpful in guiding me on the right direction.
Hi I want to say first and Im a veteran and Im a male and I have a completely different experience. Coming to the office for the first time it was actually really relaxing and there really wasnt any real problems just simply log online get into the program or basically inside the system and then they can start helping you. Meeting the front desk staff there was a gentleman there larger Mexican gentleman and then right after that there was a skinnier Mexican gentleman and well honestly, it was nice! Maybe you should talk to the guys or something like that because they sure seem to be a lot more caring or respectful but maybe thats just how we are I guess I dont know. As far as how things are going to go while in the program or while Im trying to go ahead and get to where Im going Ill let you guys know about that in the future but as far as I can tell you Im getting Good Vibes. Now none of these offices really have the services of a private office let me tell you but they sure seem to be at least someone on the right track. No the funny comment was is that they dont really have like a drawer or a box of jobs that are basically ready to go for veterans but I wasnt really expecting that anyway you can go and get that online if you wish. Overall I think this office is really good at providing you information Im calling other numbers I think thats pretty much what the most public offices do these days. When I showed up at around like 4:30 the office is pretty much dead and it didnt really seem like there was too many people to actually use this office so it may be a great place to start if youre looking for a job.
Unemployment is so hard to get through now days I’ve applied in January and sent in everything they asked for and it’s now June 5 and I have yet to receive a payment at all and you can forget about calling there is no possible way you can get through I’ve called for 2 hours straight every day for 2 weeks I’ve even called right before they open and never get though I’m getting frustrated bills are piling up and I need my benefits it may not fair that you cannot get through to them at all on any number they give you period the last time I talked to them they told me to send in my identity verification I did that twice still nothing And on top of that the person I was talking to just hung up on me when trying to explain I can understand they are overwhelmed but we are frustrated as well at least they are getting paid for there services smh if someone at Edd sees this please help I even sent a email to them but haven’t gotten a response
I called to get information about maternity/disability leave information or if I could speak to someone who could help me out. The lady who answered was totally rude. She answered, This is not the disability office. Then she hung up on me as I was still speaking in the other line! I did not know that I called the wrong office. Obviously, this lady doesnt have etiquette. As I called back to ask her if she can provide me any information where to call and such, she just said no, and hung up again!!!. Wow!!! Seriously, I was hoping any of the government employees would at least be polite and helpful to any callers. My voice was very calm and was not rude to her at all to be treated like this. I controlled my temper instead of yelling at this lady. Its such a shame.

When you zoom in all the way on Google Maps it will show the balloon marker in the middle of an intersection. My problem was with Paid Family Leave, but even though i knew this office didnt have anything to do with that benefit, it was an act of desperation to go there because neither the SDI office nor their phone line were of any help after weeks of trying to get through.I approached the front desk and told them about the issue. They said they dont process these types of claims. But both the front desk workers said lets see what we can do to help you. They made some inquiries within their department and found the direct line to the PFL office, dialed them, and i was taking with a human who solved my problem within 5 minutes.Im not suggesting you go there to solve your PFL issues, but rather wanted to show that the staff i dealt with were courteous and empathetic + went out of their way to service me and my issue that was completely outside of their responsibilities.

Very bad service lazy to read jump to conclusions to get you out the door very bad manner,Id went there about a 1,000times my problem still not solved 16 years plus disable and very sick on wheelchair they made mistake over and over again and I suffered never get paid what so ever
