Within just two months, our child has really improved her reading! The pandemic set our child back last year and we are overjoyed at the progress that has been made. Our kid enjoys going and doesn’t complain about it and in fact has made friends. We see a huge difference in engagement compared with kumon. Sylvan has a fun reward/point system where students can choose prizes. They have fun riddles and theme days too. Really a nice healthy and fun environment to learn. The director there, Abishek, is very communicative and nice. He keeps me informed on my child’s progress and sees the importance of growing a child’s confidence too. We plan to stay with sylvan for help with other subjects too!

Abhishek the director is amazing as well as the staff. The tutors consist of experienced teachers who are retired or are still working as teachers. Abhishek communicated with me very well how everything works at Sylvan. He went over my sons assessment with me and gave me piece of mind with his scores. Even when it came to the cost everything was explained well. The days/times my son would attend was worked out perfectly. My son has been there for 6 sessions and I already see an improvement and higher confidence in his learning. He is currently there for reading and is doing great. It saddens me we will be leaving due to us moving, but I recommend this Sylvan one hundred percent!

Immediate results, highly recommend!Weve taken two of our children to Sylvan for extra help with reading comprehension, and have been very pleased with the fast results. After only six weeks in the program, we noticed a huge improvement as measured by test results, improved grades in school, and perhaps most important, confidence. The Sylvan method and teachers identify learning deficiencies, areas that were either not presented or not well understood, and work to fill in the gaps. The results are amazing! We took the recommendation of the Sylvan evaluator for number of hours per week and program length to achieve desired results, and would recommend doing the same.

Outstanding tutoring center!!! The teachers and office staff really care about the students academic success and personal growth. Both my sons are attending summer classes and I am very happy with their progress so far. Sylvan token system is amazing and very motivating, every morning my kids are looking forward to attend their class. I live in Morgan Hill and I wish there was a Sylvan center close to my place. So my kids could have benefited form it through out the year.

The people at Sylvan are all very friendly, my son loves his tutors, the program has been very effective in improving his reading scores. The staff is well informed and are helpful in answering my questions and addressing our concerns.

My two boys have been going to this learning center for two months now. I have seen significant improvement in their comprehension and reading skills. They are making good progress at school. Our son was a reluctanct reader, rushed through sounding out words and guessed, and would skim text. His comprehension and confidence was very low. He would say phases like I told you I am a bad reader. In less than 15 weeks, he has gained a ton of confidence and is proud of what he can read. He is even starting to pick up books like comics to fun read. He never would have done that a few weeks ago. We are very happy with Sylvan and are excited for what is to come in our sons growth.

My daughter is in 3rd grade. When she received her final report card from her 2nd grade year it was evident that she needed some extra support. She has shown great improvement in her writing abilities in just 3 months of tutoring.

We love Sylvan and the program. I would recommend this program to all the kids. This is a really good program for kids.

My children have been coming off and on for 2 years for Math tutoring. I like the baseline test to understand what they have learned so far in school. My children love the self paced learning and the kind and patient teachers. Both have made great progress. AND THEY LOVE TO GO! I offered to cancel and they protested saying, This is the way math should be taught! At your own pace and with a caring instructor who helps you along the way! They also have a professional and flexible office staff to help pace your child in meeting their educational goals.

My daughter came to this center needing help in writing. She had a difficult time knowing how to start a paper and organizing her thoughts and hence hated writing. After a few months, I can see from the papers she has written that she has improved in her writing skill. Furthermore, she enjoys going to Sylvan so I know we came to the right place.

Best decision I ever made for my sons education. Since going to Sylvan (~7 months) he has more confidence in himself and in school in general. The teachers and staff are kind and supportive. They somehow make learning fun and easy for my little man.

Tutoring with Sylvan is beneficial. My son is in middle school. Writing has been extremely hard for him that he could not generate more than 2 sentences within an hour. He went to Sylvan last summer, and the result is at the beginning of this school year, with a little help from a Sylvan tutor during the brainstorming phase, he was able to write and finished by himself his one-page essay homework assignment within 2 hours. Now he appears more confident in writing and is producing longer essay with better quality. I am so happy that the phrase “struggle in writing” is not any more always the case for my son.

Today is my nieces first day. She is motivated to learn! I am excited to see her improve her reading with the teachers expertises and individualized attention!

Beginning Reader Program: This review is way overdue. My daughter was having an incredibly hard time with reading in TK, K, and for the first half of first grade. We were facing the risk of her failing 1st grade and being held back if we did not do some serious intervention. I finally called this Sylvan location and spoke with the management about my situation. The staff are warm, knowledgeable, professional, timely, and they individually care about the students and parents. They immediately identified a few key areas (including low self confidence) which were prohibiting my daughter to be successful and within 3 months my daughter was on target where she needed to be to proceed to 2nd grade. Best of all, my daughter felt like she had the support she needed and looked happy and confident. Their method works, the children are happy and progressing, and it gives parents piece of mind during a time of deep concern. My only regret is that I didnt call one year earlier. Dont hesitate, get your child in today!

My child Annie has been attending Sylvan for about 7 years and we couldnt be happier. Learning math, reading, and writing has always been a challenge for her. Now she is excelling in all of her courses and has even managed to make it to advanced classes. She couldnt have gotten far in her studies if it wasnt for Sylvan. I am proud of how much she has learned over the years and I highly recommend other parents to sign their kids up.

This place is great for language arts which my son learns here. He learns reading and writing and his grades have improved drastically after a month of Sylvan.

My son, went here last summer and was helped immensely by the instruction provided by their tutors. It made such a difference for our son, that my husband and I decided to send him again this summer.

Sylvan Learning Center is a very useful center. For Reading, they will let you take a test every 24 hours so we can see the progress. There are many subjects that they can tutor you. Example, Reading, Writing, Homework Support, and more. Our family loved it and the children became better and better at english. We highly recomend it whos children need help with. There are prizes too.
