Sharon is an AMAZING professional! Her team and consultation services are unmatched and guarantee a beautiful result!We did a complete remodel of a fixer we bough in Sunnyvale. I was swamped with many decisions to make and was looking for countertop solutions for the Kitchen and bathroom vanities. Sharon made the process easy for us and help us tremendously in making good design and practical choices.Sharon was very helpful in understanding our needs, she understood our preferences and budget. She was able to come up quickly with insights and recommendations that helped us to navigate among the endless options available, focus, and choose the right slabs for our project.Sharon was very helpful in optimizing the most beautiful way to cut the slabs and match them to different areas - this is very important as you want specific veins in slabs to be at different areas to show the stone characteristic and highlight the kitchen.Sharons team was able to spot some misalignment issues in my cabinets that would have caused issues in the future. Finding those issues allowed me to get them fixed and avoid much-unneeded frustration.We were stressed with times, but Sharon promised quick turnaround and she delivered - fabrication was quick, and countertops were delivered and installed on time.

We first contacted Sharon Stone Design in 2017 to come fix/fill-in a large crack between our granite counter tops and fill in some cracks in our fireplace tiles. When they came to visit, I remembered quizzing them about the materials they were planning to use to fix the different cracks. They used very high quality and appropriate/recommended materials (and even the right color!) for their work.Shortly after, we contracted Guy and his team to replace the entire countertop altogether, do the backsplash of my kitchen, and re-tile the floors of both bathrooms and the shower wall.The biggest and most important job we ask Guy and his team to do was re-wire our bottom floor and replace all lights with LEDs. Guy was very knowledgable about all the safety codes, and his team performed the task cleanly.One thing I appreciated was that Guy offered to patch and re-texture any holes or walls they had to cut out to do the re-wiring. (Electrical contractors typically dont offer to patch anything. They just leave you with the holes and wires exposed!) Guys painter did a flawless job patching and re-texturing everything.Guy gave many solid Guys design recommendations, such as color of the tiles/grout. His team is very careful about their work, and in case something wasnt up to par, they were willing to redo the work.Highly recommended. =)Irene Chu

I highly recommend Sharon for any remodeling work. I recently had them upgrade my fireplace with tile, which turned out beautiful! After the tile was complete I had them paint the dining and living room and next week they will be installing recessed lights in those rooms. In has been great working with Guy and the very professional employees. I couldnt have asked for better results both with the tile and paint, plus I was very impressed with the detail and pride they took in their work.The turn-around time was great and it made it very easy for me since Guy handled all the scheduling of the work in a timely manner.

What you will not see is Sharon and her team not responding to your text/email/call. Not answering your phone-call or delaying in response is one of the typical problems people encounter with when they try home/house remodeling. Sharon always got back to me with update, text, phone call even skype video call. You will always be updated with stone order status, next available on-site schedule and at all. Plus high quality of stone installation and finish is my number one reason why I will be back working with Sharon and team if I have next project coming up to me.

We wanted to remodel our kitchen and bathroom by replacing the tile floor with new tiling and replacing the countertop. We met with a couple contractors to get quotes and decided to go with Sharon Stone Design. From the beginning it was clear that Guy was much more responsive, friendlier, and prices were more reasonable compared to the other contractors. we talked to.Guy and his wife Sharon worked with us within our budget. They gave great recommendations when it came to picking out counters, tile, and other design choices. Throughout the job Guy gave regularly checked in the work, gave updates, was very responsive to questions, and addressed all the minor requests we had. Finally, and most importantly, we were very happy with the quality and craftsmanship of the final work.

I recently had some work done in the kitchen including new plumbing, backsplash, countertops and under-cabinet lighting. I read many reviews on yelp before deciding to choose Sharon Stone Design. Sharon was very helpful and pleasant in helping to choose between various stones and colors. Guy was always very responsive, courteous and professional and was often flexible with time because I had such a busy work schedule. The work itself took roughly two weeks to finish. I absolutely love the finished product and would highly recommend the company to anyone. Sharon, Guy, and everyone at Sharon Stone Design were very great to work with.

Sharon and her team did an excellent job fabricate and install the granite I picked. My new kitchen countertop looks awesome. A true professional and knows what she is talking about. The price was very reasonable. We did a video chat when she showed me how each of the pieces will be cut from the slab, very helpful. Although the project was delayed for several days due to a machine breakdown, Sharon kept me updated and offered a free piece fabricated as a serving board from the slab scraps. I highly recommend her service.

Sharon helped me pick out the right stone for my countertop and did a meticulous job cutting the stone to the perfect dimension, matching the pattern of the veins in the stone to each seam, and her installation crew did a great job measuring and installing the stone. Just Amazing !!! .. That is how I would describe the whole house remodeling experience we have had with Sharon Stone Design. A big THANKS to Sharon and Guy for the wonderful work. We had a sizable project involving interior paint, flooring, bath, kitchen etc. Guy and his team did a great job of taking care of all the aspects of these individual jobs. Guy is a fantastic person always with a can-do attitude being well thought-through and detailed oriented and most importantly being realistic about the nuances of the job. He described the details of each of the remodeling activities so that we could scope them out and execute efficiently towards them. On time completion was one of the most important aspects for us and Guy delivered exceptionally well on that front. There were quite a lot of items to be taken care of and all them got done perfectly well. One of the key highlights was the kitchen counter-top design and finish. The seamless design of the counter-top accentuated with the new fixtures gives the kitchen an amazing new and vibrant feel. House remodeling is a stressful job and Guy made it a fun one. Next time I do any sort of remodeling, I do not have to spend time deciding whom to contact. For all our future projects it would be Sharon Stone Design. I sincerely recommend them.

Sharon Stone Design is simply the BEST! We were doing pretty major renovations in the kitchen of our new home and had to wait until a wall was removed before we could order countertops. Our new appliances also couldnt be installed until the countertops were in, so we were living without a functioning kitchen during that time. As I started to shop around for a countertop supplier, I was so disappointed with most of their project timelines. I contacted multiple suppliers and was given 8-10 week windows to get my countertops installed, which seemed like too long to go without a kitchen. Fortunately, one of the suppliers referred me to Sharon and her team, and it was a life saver! Sharon is so wonderful to work with and made the entire process so easy. I contacted her on a Wednesday and she was available to meet the same week. I went to her showroom and she patiently guided me through all of the options, which was wonderful because she has so many beautiful quartz surfaces that it was hard to choose! A different supplier had told me that I would have to order two quartz slabs to complete my kitchen counters with the mitered edge I wanted, but Sharon was able to make it work with only one slab, saving me about $1,500 in materials. The timeline from our first meeting to the installation of my countertops was LESS THAN 3 WEEKS! I even added a last-minute request to get a custom vanity top for my bathroom, and Sharon was able to make that work as well and install the bathroom countertop on the same day as the kitchen. Most importantly, the countertops look absolutely beautiful and we are so happy with them. Beyond her amazing products, excellent design advice and prompt delivery, Sharon is truly a delight to work with. She is so kind, patient and positive. Home renovations are very stressful, but working with Sharon took a lot of my stress away. I cant recommend her enough!

Amazing contractor, hire this team!When looking for a company to purchase new counters for our kitchen remodel, we worked with Sharon Stone Design. Throughout our meetings, we learned that Sharon’s husband, Guy, is a contractor with a full team of electricians, painters, plumbers, etc. After our remodel wasn’t going well with the group we were originally using, we hired Guy and his team to finish the job. They executed the full kitchen remodel including painting cabinets and installing hardware, installing electrical outlets, new recessed lighting, stovetop, hood and sink, as well as installing a new countertop and backsplash. Additionally, they painted cabinets in two bathrooms and painted the exterior of our home.Sharon, Guy, and their team pay attention to detail, and their expertise helps guide you through difficult decisions. I regret not having met Sharon earlier, or I could save much time in locating the best fabricator and installer.When we met with Sharon the first time to discuss our kitchen countertop and layout, she was very professional and showed us their certificates even before we asked for it, this really helped customers trust her and her company.When it comes to project details and signing the contract, Sharon confirmed every item with us efficiently and provided a clean contract noting the stone and timeline requirements. I can see that their teams schedule was so tight. However, they still tried best to bring the service to customers ASAP with great quality.The template crew was professional in deciding the stone layout and thoughtful. Instead of randomly choose the seam location, he always suggested the best way to make the stone to be cut less and look more pretty.Sharon knew that our kitchen was waiting for the stone and thankfully, we had our countertop installed in first week of November. They finished the fabrication and did the installation much faster than the promised time. The fabricated stone was so beautiful and I could not take my eyes off it. 😄Although the crew spotted some tricky issue at the beginning of installation caused by the cabinet. (Later we figured out the root cause is that the gap between our cabinet surface and top drawer/door is too narrow, which made the stone edge bottom too close too the top drawers/doors.) The main installation crew tried hard to think about solution. Sharon patiently analyzed the problem with us on FaceTime and tried to solve it. Surprisingly, Guy came to our job site to help us solve the problem quickly and saved us lot of time from calling GC to do extra work and rescheduling the countertop installation.I can definitely feel Guys passion, rigorous and professionalism in this industry while talking to him and they were doing the job. I cannot express our appreciation more to Sharon, Guy and their crews! Before meeting with Sharon, we had spent almost 1 month on the stone and saw how terrible other retailer/fabricator was. Luckily, Sharons team did a beautiful job in just one week!I already recommended Sharon Stone Design to my friend and she also gave good feedback about the service. For example, we really appreciate the suggestions they gave us about kitchen sink types to consider. They provided fast turnaround after their measurement, and their installation team did a great job. The countertop pieces fit perfectly into our new kitchen and bathroom. The team followed up nicely after the job, coming back without charge to provide an additional hole for an under-sink hot water heater. The owner even came by later to make sure everything was good, and to provide cleaning advice and even demonstrated how to clean an area. I reached out to them and Sharon was quick to give me a call back the same day. Few days later I went to her office and liked the overall experience and interaction with her. I finalized her for countertop installation. She was very clear about the cost and provide suggestions on countertop materials. Later on her team was on time to install the countertops. Sharons team is extremely impressive. We have done house renovations multiple times, and Sharon is one of the few contractors that we really enjoyed doing business with.We worked with Sharon and her team on a major renovation recently that consists of semi-large kitchen (including waterfall granite on island), master bath (2 sinks and vanity counter), and our laundry room. Everything was beautifully done and quality of craftsmanship is impressive.What really blew me away was our laundry room countertop, where we needed to enlarge the opening so our washer/dryer cables can pass through. The job was labor intensive (because stone was already installed), but Sharons team took the time to not only made opening bigger, but also made it look finished. I know this was a challenge because you can barely fit a screw driver into the small space, let alone a power tool, but Sharon absolutely hit it out of the ballpark. What also made us feel extra special was when she personally came onsite to inspect the quality and ensure were happy with the modifications.We will work with her again without question. Highly recommend the team to anyone whos doing renovations, large or small.

I found Guy Katz of Sharon stone design through a mutual friend named Eyal Metalon who runs creation7 in Walnut Creek.I had a major problem with a GC who I hired to do a master bathroom demo & full rebuild under permit. I live in San Mateo near 26th St & Isabelle ave.This first GC gave me a low price on the job. I worked with him previously and he was good so I went with him. He did about 60-70% of the job and I told him no more money until he finished. I Had now paid his whole cost already(stupid me!) At this point, he stopped coming. This went on for 2-3 months. See my other previous review on yelp for a more complete story.So here I am stuck with a non-functioning master bathroom. I knew I would have BIG trouble finding a new contractor to do this job. I called Guy on Eyals recommendation and he agreed to come look at it. He gave me a fair estimate soon after, knowing full well we might run into surprises and change orders along the way. Guy really sympathized with our situation recognizing how much of a bind we were in. We signed a scope of work contract and guy put his men on it immediately. This all happened right before Christmas! The team he used were extremely competent, polite and knew their crafts very well. All of them: plumber, painter, electrician, shower glass tech, tile tech were AWESOME. They all did great jobs. We did have a couple of relatively large change orders amounting to ~20% of quote for the job. Under the circumstances, this was totally acceptable and fair. The problems originated with the first GC. Some of the stuff he did were amateur mistakes. One of which could have done tens of thousands in water damage to our kitchen located below the master bathroom. Thankfully Angel (Guys very skilled plumber) caught this mistake immediately and sought to repair it.So long story short, I HIGHLY recommend Guy and his team for these types of home remodels.Guy is a trustworthy family man with a level of integrity, skill, and competence we all so desperately search for to do major work on our precious homes. I will recommend him to all my friends and family. I just wish I found him at the onset of this project!!THANKS GUY.

10 months after our kitchen remodel with Guy and Sharon, we needed to replace the shower doors in our bathroom. Once again, they did a fabulous job. They stuck to the timeline, recommended great products, and the install was perfect. THANK YOU AGAIN!!Guy, Sharon, and their team at Sharon Stone Design are great. They replaced old countertops and added a backsplash in our kitchen.- Materials: Sharon was super patient and helpful during the decision-making phase. We didnt feel any pressure to purchase anything until we were completely happy with our choices.- Demo day: Guys demo team was punctual and removed the old countertops quickly and carefully. There was not a single scratch on the kitchen cabinets - something that we had been concerned about given the old, heavy concrete countertops they had to remove.- Countertops: Javier and his team who did the templating, countertop cutting, and installation were fantastic. The seams are seamless!- Backsplash: Miguel, the tile setter, did an incredible job of setting the backsplash tiles on some tricky old walls. His attention to detail was impressive.- Plumbing: A lovely father-son team took great care sorting out the faucets, insinkerator, and dishwasher.- Project management: Guy and his right-hand man Meyer checked in on the progress in the morning and in the afternoon every day that the various teams were at our home. Guy (our main point of contact) was super responsive to texts and phone calls.And last, but not least... not only did Sharon and Guy and their team do amazing work, but everyone, and I mean every single person who worked in our home, had a smile on their face.
