He has been cutting my hair for 8 or 9 years and I have now followed him to his 3rd (!) location, which is brand new and so much better than the first 2 locations. Best Barbershop in town, period. Old school techniques, using BOTH scissors and clippers. Most “barbershops” nowadays rely heavily on clippers, can’t pull off classic barber styles like Steve and Lena (owners). I’m willing to take the drive just to get a haircut from them since I moved out of San Jose. They’re that good.

Not to be confused with the previous Santa Teresa Barbers this is a completely new barbershop. I came for the first time today and was very happy with the haircut. The owner Steve is super nice and a great barber. He really pays attention to detail and its nice to finally have a good barbershop in this area of San Jose. Will definitely be back. You will not be disappointed.

I have been bouncing around from Barber to Barber in the Bay area. Being a Nomad and not having a regular Barber is a horrible and frightening experience. A lot of the good barbers I used to go to charge way too much for a clean cut. Real talk I can not be dropping over half hundred dollars for a haircut.I found this Barber shop and it is a hidden gem. They cut just as good as my old barbers if not better. So for everyone in the bay area looking for a new regular Barber this is your place. I did the trial and error testing for you. I will stop by here every two weeks and no longer have to fear being a nomad searching for the perfect cut.

Im so glad the rumors werent true! Steve and Lena, the master barbers who once worked at Mission Square Barber Shop have opened a new shop in South San Jose! I decided to begin a search for a new barber when I was fed misinformation about their retirement. Low and behold, I find a listing for a new shop not too far from my house with a 5-star rating. I look through the photos of the sick fades, and BAM! Its Lena and Steve! I cant even tell you how quickly I picked up the phone to confirm that my eyes we not deceiving me. About an hour later, I was sitting in Steves barber chair, catching up on his adventures since I last saw him. Oh, and for those who came here to hear about his haircutting skills...theyre phenomenal. My hair was grossly mishandled by my previous barber and my attempts and maintaining my own fade at home. Steve cleaned up my comb-over with a skin fade like the pro that he is. He takes his time, is meticulous, and has the skills to pay the bills. I cant wait to visit on a monthly basis to get cleaned up by the dynamic duo! As for the location, its in a wonderful strip mall that has fast food, ice cream, a Dollar Tree, Grocery Outlet Bargain Market (another one of my favs!), and a handful of mom & pop restaurants that I have yet to try. If youre in the Santa Teresa area and you need a new barber, trust me, Steve and Lena are amazing. And for those who heard they were done, you heard wrong! And boy am I glad!

Ed is the best. Ive been going to him for years. Now that we live across town, I still make the trek to see Ed. Hes done a great job on my (now grown) kids, including one who had some challenging scars the Ed deals with wonderfully.
