I met Jr at the dealer and he was very helpful, he was able to predict clearly what it was going to happen with my insurance and from that point makes the horrible experience of repairing my vehicle less stressful. I’m happy with the results my car looks incredible! It seems like nothing happened, they took more time the what I expected but it really worth it. I definitely will recommend them.

They said my car was ready for pickup but it was not. They installed parts that dont belong on the vehicle, they poorly installed plastics under the hood and completely missed a huge dent in the body. Their repair of a paint scratch just involved buffing it out and not repainting the scratch the propper way. I wont be coming back to this place in the end.Ohh and it took over 3 months for repairs.

I was very satisfied with the repair workmanship to my Honda Civic. ( It looks great! ). Also, the cleaning and sanitation of my car was so good that my family thought it had a new paint job. My experience here was great and my car came back better than ever. As I entered the shop I was quickly greeted by the receptionist and the estimator was very knowledgeable about what the possible issues were with my passenger window. They took my car Into repair and it was ready for pickup the next day! I highly recommend this body shop because of my personal experience. Also, I felt completely safe coming in — everyone had mask and plenty of hand sanitizer available.

I AM SO HAPPY I DECIDED TO USE CARSTAR!I got rear ended and needed to get repairs done on my car. The way I found out about Carstar was through Piercey Toyota. Carstar has a space at Piercey. I spoke to Junior about getting an estimate on the damages and he was able to quickly get me my estimate and take photos for the insurance company.I dropped off my car at Carstar the week of Christmas. I knew it would take longer due to the holidays, but it was the only time I had the chance to drop it off. I was still recovering from the accident. Junior was great! He gave me updates on my car and did all he can to get my car to me as soon as he could. I really appreciated that!When I finally picked up my car, I was amazed! It looked brand new! The cleaned the inside and outside of my car. I didnt expect them to clean the inside of it. They also left me a small bottle of hand sanitizer in my cup holder. I had been meaning to use Goo Gone to get rid of the sticky stuff on the windshield (when you get a new car and they leave that piece of paper with your car information). I had taken the paper out, but never got the gunk out. It was gone!I am a very happy and satisfied customer! If I have any bodyshop needs, I know where I will go. I appreciate the work and service as well as Junior. Thank you!

España’s did a great job. Had a big scratch on my car. They repaired and left my car looking like new. Very professional, paid attention to details and good price. Also, they have implemented lots of safety measures to address COVID concerns. Very satisfied customer.

EDIT: after speaking to the owner it turns out the damaged bumper was a refurbished one that insurance makes them use and the prongs on it were damaged, which is why it kept popping out. they got a new bumper approved by statefarm and did excellent work painting and attaching it, BUT this was only after having to take time to come into the shop for a total of 4 times after the initial repair. also, what really left a bad impression with us was that on the second visit, they glued my bumper back into place. yes, glued. i had to get back to work so i wasnt able to question them or ask for a redo, but when we brought this up to the owner he seems very surprised that they had used glue on my car.i was in an accident and had to take my car to get the bumper replaced. this was less than a month ago, and ive gone back THREE times now to get it fixed because it keeps popping back out. its a brand new bumper it should not be this hard.

Great experience all around. Adrienne (front desk/customer service representative) was very helpful and attentive when I came to drop off the car. She explained all of the necessary steps to get my car repaired. She even called my car insurance when I was unsure if my policy included car rental. I dropped off my car at 12 noon on Monday (12/23) and I got a call for pick up on X-mas Eve. Granted, I had light scratches on my bumper but that was very fast and efficient service. Highly recommended!

Not sure how this place got such high reviews. Typically I dont do reviews but this place left such a sour taste, I could not ignore it. First off I just want to be clear I was not a customer but a potential customer. My wifes car was recently involved in an accident and in the past I took it to a place closed to work. Since I am no longer at that location, I asked my insurance company to recommend some closer to my current area. I got a list of 3 from them, and today set out to visit all 3, to check out their facility and talk to staff to decide which one I felt more comfortable with. First two places went great. They sent out a rep and I asked the general questions and looked at some of their finished work. Then comes the visit to this place. First walked in and everything looks nice and clean. The front desk lady sees me and asks how she can help. Told her that my car was damaged and I was here to ask some questions about the place. She immediately responded with: oh we only work directly with the insurance company!. So I explained to her I was new to this area for repairs and wanted a general idea of the place before I made the decision to let my insurance know so they can send over my info. She gave me a puzzled look, so I just told her I had some general questions like how long does it usually take? What their warranty is? Etc.. I mean if its this hard just to answer simple general questions about the place so a potential customer can feel secure that their car will be fixed correctly, I wonder how hard it would be if problems arises? Will I get the general statement: we only work directly with the insurance company ? Word of advice, take the time to listen to potential customers before brushing them off so quickly. Needlessly to say they lost a potential customer. Thanks for hearing my rant.

Terrible paint job they had my vehicle for 5 days and I still have to take it back next week so they can fix in one day the paint job that took 5 days. Something smells fishy to me.

I scheduled an appointment to have my car repaired after a minor accident. The employee, Junior, was eager to help me and ease my worries. I brought my car in a few days later and Junior said it would take four days to complete the designated repairs. They called two days later to inform me that my car was ready. That is incredible. The work administered by Miguel, the Espanas Collisioner repair center owner, was flawless and my car never looked better (not to mention the reasonable pricing). Thank you guys. You are the best auto body repair shop in San Jose.

I can simply say exceptional in Service and response. I met Miguel (precedent of that body shop), he estimated the vehicle immediately and gave me the appointment for denting and painting. He arranged rental car for the duration.After denting and painting of my car, i could not able to find where denting was happened on my car. so, you can imagine how neatly work has been done. Returned the card exactly on the date he promised.Really I am very happy with the service of this carstar body shop. Carstar was very professional and prompt. They repaired my front bumper immaculately and combined the repair job with a lifetime warranty!

My son took his car here for body and paint work in 2013. Its 2017 now and theres already a speck of rust showing in the paint. when we got the got the car back, the car ran out of gas the second day. the cluster gauge they installed, gas gauge would read 3/4 -1/2 full but the tank was empty. they left two fingerprints of glue on the inside mph gauge window, now its impossible to see the mph due to the window being fog up. i lent MIguel my literature and told him i want it back, when project was done and i asked for it, he said he threw it away, i visited him later, and seen it on his shelf. If you want people who care about you and your car, go somewhere else!

After an accident, we took our truck to Espana for extensive body repair and were quoted $7,000. Fair enough. Two months later (!) the truck was ready and looked great. When we took it to get smogged, it wouldnt pass because hoses from the gas tank were damaged and the gas tank itself was still crammed at an angle from the accident--clearly a very hazardous condition. This made us lose all confidence in the competence and diligence of Espana, so we took it to a dealer to complete the repairs, which came to $2,800. I figure we got about $4,200 of work for $7,000 from Espana. Ask me how happy I am.
