I visited Robert’s Tire and Wheels (986 Harrison Street) for the the first time today and it was a very pleasant experience. Upon arrival, I spoke to the owner of the business, Robert, who was very friendly and easy to work with. Robert has been in business in the Bay Area since 1979. In addition to the obvious, selling tires and wheels, Robert’s also offers several mechanical repairs ranging from belts and hoses to cooling system repairs. When I initially visited before the repairs took place, Robert asked, “what was I in need of and how could he help.” I’m not an auto technician so my ability to explain the situation is that of a layman. Robert came out to the vehicle, inspected all four (4) tires, taught me about the age of a tire by finding the date on it, and mentioned the importance of wear and tear. I purchased four (4) brand new tires and a wheel alignment. Luckily, Robert’s Tire and Wheels also offers coupons in their website. I was able to use a $60 off coupon. Robert‘a team changed my wheels and did the alignment in about 2 hours. Four new tires and a wheel alignment cost a little over $500 with the coupon which is fair. I’m pleased with the quality of the work, and would encourage anyone in need of tires, wheels, or service to check out this business!

I planned to purchase from Costco, but Roberts was able to have tires the next day at the same price vs. 5 - 10 at Costco. Friendly service, and when I had to go home to find my lug nut key they were still able to get me out the door within a few hours. They also made sure that I had paperwork to claim an unanticipated rebate from Michelin.

Robert was great. Took the time to help me figure out additional changes to my wheel set up and great prices.

Oh my God, this place is a pice of work I call ahead of time let them know, its just a flat spare I have limited funds $50.00. I get a ride we drive in the shop my friends gas tank touches the gate, I show them here the rim just need a tire all I have is $50.00.Guycomes back its gonna be $52.16 I just look at him like what you want me to pan handle the extra $2.16 efn moran. Were driving out here comes the manager asking my friend for his insurance in case there was any damages to the roll up door,my friend asked why dont you roll it up all the way manager replied its broken.So thats why he wanted my friends insurance information. I thought to myself. If this is the shop on3160 mission Street.

These guys do a great job on tires. Robert will order you whatever you want or need. They are a certified installer for the Tire Rack, but rather than save $10, I just order from Robert. Great location, no frills.

Went in for a tire repair early in the morning. I got back my car within 1 hour and I paid a reasonable price for repair. Excellent service!

I took my truck to Robert & team for new tires, wheels, and a leveling kit. They did a beautiful job. It was quick, efficient, and the customer service was excellent. I highly recommend Robert & team!

I ended up with a flat tire first thing in the morning and this was the closest open place. They were willing to help me out quickly and within an hour, even without an appointment, I was back up and running. Super appreciative that they were so accommodating.

Just bought a new set of tires here after having a good experience in the past with them fixing a leak. They were super fast and really nice. Checked my brakes and alignment and told me I didnt need either. I definitely appreciate their honesty instead of selling me something I didnt need. Highly recommend these guys!

These guys really know their performance tires and wheels. I bought a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S from them for my Porsche 911. Not a scratch after mounting them on the alloy wheels. After 2 years, one tire developed a slow leak due to a nail puncture. Robert fixed it - free of charge. Very satisfied experience. I highly recommend them.

Several years ago a friend recommended this place but at the time I didnt need tires. Now I needed tires and I happened to be talking with a different friend who suggested Roberts Tires. Since I had two separate recommendations I figured I couldnt go wrong. I wanted specific tires that he didn’t have in stock. I liked that he didn’t try to talk me into tires that he had in stock. Instead he just looked up the tires I wanted and quoted me a final price which included disposal, new valve stems, balancing etc. The tires arrived the following day and he did the install. Four tires, full alignment, great price and no hassles. I highly recommend.

I came back from Tahoe in a snowstor, brakes were making noise so had it checked. There was plenty of surface left on the brake pads. No charge! This is a shop that I always trust.

I had to get one tire today, and I went to Roberts Tires and Wheels. The folks there were completely professional and did the work to my great satisfaction. I will definitely go there again in the future. The man that helped me was polite and walked me through the process. Awesome service. Did not have an appointment but dropped off my car to have a tire patched which had picked up a nail and they turned the car around in under 2 hours. Very thankful and great dealing with such friendly staff!

Bought a set of run flats for my mini.. Costco didnt carry them at the time. Fast and efficient service when they put it on. Great prices. Best in SF.Picked up a nail somewhere, Fixed the tires for FREE, in under 15 minutes. Did the work with a smile.8/23/09 Picked up another nail on the run flats, and they laughed at how I could pick up two nails in under a month. Fixed it again for free in under 15 minutes. They finished so fast, that i was into work at 8:30 still early.Great Service!!!

These guys are phenomenal! They got — overnight — some really obscure, All-Terrain tires I wanted that none of the other dealers in San Francisco had even HEARD of, and installed them for exactly the price they had quoted me.

I decided to give my truck a slight lift on the front end to level it out. i also decided that it was a good idea to try this myself, this was not a good idea..!! after 4-5 hrs of a struggle i managed to get one side complete.. after this i decided to give Roberts tire and wheels a call. they got me in really quick, fitted the other side, checked my work which wasnt too bad and gave it a new alignment.. very happy and impressed with the end result.. thank you so much

Love these guys. Went in because my mini runflat light came on.... they couldve told me I needed new tires and I wouldnt have known the difference. Instead they put it on the lift, filled them with air and sent me on my way with no charge. Honesty and integrity deserves your business. Go there.

Excellent service. Brought in my car for a tire which keeps deflating. They found a puncture and fixed it for a incredibly reasonable price. All within 30 minutes.

Quick service and they provided a quality installation of four tires on my GTI. They are a Tire Rack recommended installer, so thats assuring. The only consideration to make is avoid picking up your car close to rush hour (5:00 p.m.). The traffic around that way can get a bit hectic.

Great service which may be a little more than the mail order tire services, but worth the convenience. Brought my car in to replace a slashed tire and my trunk was a mess of tools and wheel parts from changing the tire. Not only were they able to procure an out of stock within hours, they also put the spare tire, jack and tools away in my trunk when they finished the work. Very professional and I would trust any car of any value with them.

Wow! Beat the competition! Fixed a nail in my tire (the other guys always seem to insist its in an area that cant be fixed and charge me for, not one but two tires... Theyre radials..) AND they did it in minutes not HOURS. The other guys make you sit through 3 full wheel alignment s and one or two brake repairs before they even look at it. In SF, im not going anywhere else now.

I was referred to Robert by my trustworthy mechanic Pearce Autotech because they dont do tire work. First of all Robert is a very honest and down to earth man, that, unlike other people of his trade doesnt BS you. Things are very straightforward, the price announced is the price you pay and he will even untangle parts sourcing when things get complicated with your British-made German car.His prices are not bad at all when you compare with TireRack and since its a mom and pop shop, youre supporting local families.Very highly recommended.

Had me towed for parking in front of a vacant lot next door that they have no rights over whatsoever unless you count squatters rights. And then parked other peoples cars there. Then lied about it, and when confronted with evidence got incredibly rude and threatened to find where I live.Unscrupulous, and not the sort of person Id want to do business with.Theres much much better tire places in the neighborhood. Save your money and your sanity and go to Kahn and Keville. And as a bonus theyll park your car in a lot that actually belongs to them, instead of randomly having other people towed and costing them over $800.

I had one hole in my tyre and i checked it in certified shop before going to them because someone told me they do scam and they charged me for 2 nail total cost $55. Be aware go places where they check tyre infront of you.

I needed some new tires bad and so I gave Roberts Tires a call. They were very helpful and got me in the same day. I did some shopping around I could not bet their prices on tires. I will be coming back them for all of my auto repair needs.

I just left their shop in pissed off. I need my tire fixed and they told me they would spend 2 hours to fix the tire. What? 2 hours to fix a tire? No, thank you, dude. Stop being lazy or open the store at 10am instead of 7:30 am if you do not want to do the job.

Such service! They gave us a great price on new tires a few months ago, and when I brought it in with a slow leak, they repaired the tire for free!

Had a slow leak that was not diagnosed by Lexus dealer who sold me the tires. Robert found the problem in less than 5 minutes and fixed for a nominal charge.
