Jennifer is the best of the best!! There are 0 complaints on her wax technique-- she is fast, painless and does a clean swipe. On top of this, she is great at making conversation to take your mind off of things!In terms of COVID safety, I have no concerns. Even if she is feeling slightly ill, Jennifer texts well before the appointment to safely reschedule. She lets clients know if she has allergies and has a face mask and shield on at all times. The area is wiped down and there are hand sanitizers everywhere in the room. It is clear health is a priority to her and for others.Finally, Jennifer is a good person. She works hard, does good work, listens and prioritizes the safety of her clients above all else. She is super fun to talk to and would recommend her to anyone for regular waxing sessions.

In my opinion there is not enough wonderful things to say about Carla. I had my first ever waxing experience with her on September 21, 2020 and she was AMAZING! Upon arrival, I noticed first hand that her space was very clean and sanitary which is very important to me as well as during these times I also very much appreciated. Next, I noticed how kind and caring Carla was when she started asking me question about if I knew about pre and post care waxing, as well as just trying to make me feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Once we started she was like a ninja with how quick and efficient she was with her technique, and to me because of this it was less painful than I thought it would have been. She talked with me to keep me distracted as well as consistently checked in with me to see if I was okay and how did I feel, and because it was my first wax I appreciated it very much. I had gotten the full brazilian and the half leg service(s) and Im not trying to exaggerate when I said she was a ninja, but those two services together only took her 45 minutes and for someone whos never had a wax done before that was very fast to me. Carla was amazing and kind and because of that I had already booked my next appointment with her, I would highly recommend Carla to anyone looking for a waxing service both men and women. I would also like to add as a fair warning, I did go to the San Francisco location and it is downtown nearing Chinatown area. The usual traffic in that area is really bad so please account for traffic and hard to find parking spaces. Carlas business is inside of a building I believe it was called V Studios and it does had other businesses inside, shes located on the top floor and then you make a left at the top of the stairs and go all the way down hallway, and she on the right hand side. This location is only one room and has only one table, its about the size of a patient room at a doctors office. I had no problems with the room I found it quite cozy but some people might find it otherwise. Overall, I give Carla a 10/10 score she was fabulous and Im excited for my next appointment with her.

Carla and her team are excellent! I found BBWax over four years ago when I was looking for a salon with a high standard of safety. I’ve been to a few different girls and they’re all trained in Carla’s pain-minimizing technique. They offer tips to prevent skin irritation, make friendly conversation during the service, and have made the experience of going to BBWax enjoyable! When they reopened, I was certain I had nothing to worry about as far as COVID. The office is clearly sterilized, and they are following all safety guidelines – pre-appointment questions/temperature scan/sanitizer, double masks, disinfecting the office between clients. On top of outstanding waxing services, I bought a bikini from BBWax a few years back and I get compliments every time I get the chance to wear it!
