My sisters and I visited San Francisco for the first time and we were looking for a hotel near the action with room for all 3 of us and a kitchenette. The Suites at Fisherman’s Wharf fit the bill perfectly! We loved the location and we each had our own private sleeping space which worked out well as we all awake at different times. The amenities (coffee, toiletries and paper towels were also greatly appreciated!) We would love to come back!

Older, well-kept resort in the heart of Fishermans Wharf. Excellent location, staff and service. Cable car stops right outside the front door. Beautiful views.

I stayed at the Suites at Fishermans Wharf for 5 days while visiting a few friends in San Francisco, and it really was a great stay. The rooms are a bit dated, but considering the fact that I got a king bedroom, nice sized living room, balcony, and full kitchen in a perfect location, it was more than worth it. The price was incredibly reasonable as well. Would recommend to anybody visiting SF

Ok. Double charged. They dont communicate very well with Booking.com. Paid Booking.com weeks prior to my arrival and when I got to the hotel, they also demanded a payment. They (Mary the staff) said its between Booking.com and the client to consul the issue and they are not the one who communicates with Booking.com. I am still waiting for Booking.com to refund my money. Clean room. Richard is very accommodating and friendly. Thanks Richard. The placed called us for noise complaints saying our kids were jumping but our kids were busy sitting eating/ lying on the bed.

Mary was great to speak to and had set me up in a room with a balcony and a view. But when I got there not only did Richard change the room but he only activated our card for one day. After touring the city my wife and I were stuck outside trying to get open the door. And Roberta at the concierge continue to make excuses for him. Although Im a Wyndham Rewards member I had no good luck. Dont book there, you will be sorry because it will not go well!! Never again.

Clean and spacious rooms, phenomenal customer service, and friendly, helpful staff.Balconies offer great views, but the view from the rooftop patio is STELLAR: you can see the entire bay, all the way from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Bay Bridge, including one of the best views of Alcatraz Ive ever seen.The location couldnt be better. Ghirardelli Square is just two blocks west, and its only two blocks north to Hyde Pier and the start of Fishermans Wharf. Pier 39 is a short walk east of there, and theres dozens and dozens of things to do and see on the way.Theres a bus stop right out front of the suites that services three bus lines, including one that goes to the Greyhound station. Even better, one of the cable car lines passes by on Hyde; hearing the cable cars bells from our suite was fun.The streets can be pretty busy with all the tourists and such, both in a car and walking down the street. But despite that, crime seemed very low, and the neighbourhood always felt very safe.Overall, these suites were an amazing place to spend four days in San Francisco in. I grew up in this part of California, and have been all over the city. And yet, this weekend staying at the Suites at Fishermans Wharf has been one of, if not the, best weekend Ive ever had in San Francisco. If youre considering staying here, dont hesitate: its even better than you think it is.

1. Great location, easy walk to Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, etc.2. Rooftop patio is amazing, great views of the bay!3. Parking is an issue. $35/night at the hotel IF (big if) there is space. If not, they recommend that you go to one of three other parking locations. The sheet with the locations said Ghirardelli offers validation, so we parked there. They do not, in fact, offer validation so we spent $40 for nothing. Had we known, we would have parked somewhere in Sunset for free and taken an Uber/biked back to the hotel! The hotel staff have no idea/information about it all either.4. Rooms are big with a convection microwave, stove, fridge, etc. There’s filtered water and ice down in the lobby.

Rings were clean, modern for the age of the hotel and well furnished.Definitely worth the money and the staff were way going while sorry nice

Stayed for the first time this last weekend and it was AWESOME, Beautiful, Roomy Comfortable - Perfect Views from Roof/Sun Deck of the City especially on a date night.The Front Desk Rep - Cris was so friendly and very attentive.Only downfall is the parking - limited secure parking - if it is full you have to park on street - but We were able to get a parking in garage on the 2nd and 3rd day of our stay.Love the SHOWER head! The bed/Mattress is extremely comfortable and my husband LOVED the couch.

Location is super. Sun deck views are spectacular. Buena Vista coffee shop is an easy walk for a famous Irish coffee.

Love the rooftop lounge and watching the boats in the bay.

The room was well-stocked, the staff were kind and thoughtful. I was downgraded in unit size, but have not received a reconciliation of the reduced points, though.

We stayed 3 nights, it was very nice and the employees were outstanding.

I really enjoyed our stay here. Not 5 stars because parking is inadequate for the amount of rooms. Note the 4 star rating is for this hotel only. They are affiliated with Windham, which deserves negative stars. Awful, disrespectful company.

Really, really old inside. Noisy. Would have been horrible if the Cable cars were running. Right next to the tracks. Bathroom floor very slippery. But it is in a good location.

Called to find out if they have parking or anything about the amenities, but was told that they dont know because of covid.... What? How can you not know about the resort?Edit: I love how they responded and still did not provide any desired information about the resort... Not much of an improvement to just pass things along without trying to resolve a super basic issue.

Clean and comfortable 1 bedroom units. Staff friendly and helpful. Just 2 blocks up from Fishermans Wharf make this the perfect location for a trip to beautiful San Fran. Cable car runs right beside the building. Wonderful location. Cant wait to go back.

They gave us champagne at check in. The rooms are well appointed. They have a tiny parking garage but at least you have parking on site. The elevator is European in style, tiny and with a wooden door on the outside. We liked the king size bed. You must drink coffee on the roof in the morning, the view of San Francisco is beautiful. You can glimpse the bay and parts of Fisherman’s Wharf from this roof.

This place is in the heart of San Francisco and the rooftop view is perfect for the evening sunset watching, but make sure and bring a glass of wine. Complimentary glass of champagne. Laundry facilities are decent and close to shops and tourist information.2021 visit is equally impressive. Love the views of the bay.

Very clean and fairly well kept, needs very minor maintenance here and there but overall just a really good place to stay. Plus the location is is one of the best that S.F. has to offer for first time visitors. Also,the one bedroom suites were very large and open with full size refrigerator and pretty descent kitchenette, fully furnished as well, I would definitely stay here again! The staff were also very helpful and friendly which was a definite plus.

Arrived at the Suites on Saturday, the staff (Chris in particular) made us immediately feel welcomed. Throughout our stay they were very helpful and pleasant. Our room was spacious and more than what we were expecting! We highly recommend this place! We hope to see you again! Thank You Chris

Two bedroom suite did not have a working heater, and it was a cold February night. The clock in the second bedroom had alarm clock set for 5am by who knows who, thus waking me up and turning what otherwise would have been a pleasant stay into not so pleasant. Considering that good night sleep is essential, I am quite disappointed with the stay considering the overall rating of the hotel.

Quirky little spot to use as home base for exploring the city. The location could not be much better. The living room and kitchen are great, but the bedroom and the bathroom are both a little tight and odd with windows out to the interior atrium area. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The staff was helpful and you can walk or take a short ride to just about anything. Parking is very tight if you are bringing your own vehicle. Dont miss the view from the rooftop deck.

The lobby when you get in seems simple and homey and having employees who are very helpful and courteous comes a long way. We stayed for only one night but its probably the best overnight stay Ive had. Not only are the beds comfortable, rooms spacious, and views amazing but you also get to have a patio on the top floor to see down towards the pier and take some breath taking photographs with. The location is also perfect as its right near the pier, about 2 blocks from Gihrardelli square, and if youre hungry from some bay area seafood, you can head straight down the road to go to the local areas to eat and get some San Francisco clam chowder. Overall Ive had a great night and a great stay so I definitely recommend this place!

Lovely rooms in a prime location. Cable car stop just outside the hotel, or just steps away from the Hyde Street Pier. The staff did everything possible to make our stay pleasant including finding a parking spot in the limited spaces in the garage. Would definitely recommend this spot if staying in SF.

We were on the second floor and yea ppl can see in the bathroom and bedroom from outside n upstairs but there is privacy curtains... Had a view of alcatraz and the bay, very gorgeous. Area is very quiet and lovely. Starbucks right down the street as well as everything else up the street... Loved it!!!

Third time visiting and its still a great place. A block from Fishermans Wharf and great restaurants. Theres also a CVS a couple of blocks away. A Starbucks a block away as well. Cable car starts right in front of the building. Love this place.

Great staff, amazing views

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a quick timeshare vacation. The people who work here are great and the location is wonderful. The room shows its age but at least they give you free hot chocolate.

Location location location!! Needs some repairs here and there, but their maintenance guys were fast as lightning to respond. Quiet as can be, the only signs of other occupants were the occasional passing in the lobby, and of course the ones above us we could hear occasional walking or chair movement. Kids stayed here but no noise would let you know. The parking is available, very crowded, and you must leave a key with the front desk to move your car around if need be ( they never had to move ours the whole week) . But of course you have to pay for the parking, its cheaper there than anywhere else. Parking is not guaranteed, its first come first assigned, but one you get it, you have in and out privileges. The only problem I was unhappy with was the employees smoking in the basement-- could be smelled throughout the facility and up to our area on 2 ND floor, AND... Car exhaust travelled all throughout the facility! They need double doors and some exhaust fan to suck the exhaust to outdoors before it enters the facility through the always opened doorway to garage. Staff Stephen, Ace, Chris very friendly/ helpful. This is a No Extras place. No activities, no services except​ maybe the very basic ( like their concierge was a little desk in middle of the lobby but I had only seen it occupied one time about 5 days into our 7 day visit). But the location makes up for it all. We would return here easily!

Do you need to park? DO NOT PICK THIS PLACE. The parking was terrible, and it was because the workers were taking up the whole space.The location is nice thats about it.The hotel employees were not accommodating when we had problems with our credit card that was on their end. To check in and check out as well was a long process. The maid never gave us new towels and we stayed for 4 days. Overall the customer service is poor.

Beautiful location. The interior and rooms are a bit dated. No air con. Uncomfortable beds and couches. It’s so hard to beat the location which is why it gets 4 Stars. So close to all of the fantastic tourist attractions that San Francisco has to offer

Stayed at the Suites at Fishermans Wharf March 2017 while visiting the Bay area. Room was clean, spacious and ours had a balcony where we could enjoy our morning coffee. The beds where very comfortable and the staff was wonderful. The best part of this hotel was is proximity to everything including Wharf, trolley, Ghirardelli Square etc.

Loved it. Staff was great and we plan on going back.

Quaint little place. Location is just unbeatable. Walking distance to the embarcadero and the whats. Rooms and elevator are dated but the location makes it worthwhile. Cable car and buses are easily accessable.

Absolutely one of the best time-share & hotel establishments to stay at during fleet week. The Blue Angels fly directly overhead when they make their entrance air show demonstration.

Facilities were great but disappointed in the foldout which was needed to accommodate all of our party. Reported it to reception but nothing was done about it.

Our suite was very nice & included a small, fully equipped kitchen. Bus and cable car stops right outside at the corner so getting around the city is very easy.

I only stayed one night here while my famiky stayed a week. The staff is friendly, room is clean and well furnished and organized. The room had a nice balcony facing the street and was walking distance from fishermans warf. The hotel is old though and with it come some annoyances. The lock on the bathroom door didnt work properly and would sometimes lock you in the bathroom or lock on its own. The coffee and hot water down in the lobby was also not always stocked. There was a point where about halfway through the day the coffee was never restocked. All in all a positive and nice experience but some of the older parts need to be replaced.

Very efficient & friendly staff. Almost certain to stay here on future trips. Perfect location for Cable Cars and Muni bus system. Sizable, nice, clean room. Wife & I were here 7 nights. No onsite eating facilities & nearby facilities somewhat limited, but excellent bus system provides easy solution once you know where you want to go. Only complaints - queen bed was a bit tight & minor noise between rooms. Rooms adjacent to street may be subject to cable car noise - ours, 3rd back, was not. Muni 7-day pass a GREAT deal. Have staff explain how to read bus system map - you can quickly get nearly anywhere.

Arrived with family in May and LOVED it! The room is spacious, a good kitchen, deck to have a quiet drink and a large living space. The location really cant be beat either. Close to all attractions and great food, Alcatraz, China Town, Coit Tower, Lombard St., Fishermans Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Tonys Pizza Napoletana, Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Woods...!!!! It was a fantastic trip. I will be back!Suites at Fishermans Wharf...Thanks for your response. My family and I are actually booked for February 11th. We will be seeing you soon.

This place is amazing! I love spending time here.

The room was nice we definitely liked that part of the stay but a few things along the way.The bathroom makes a huge cracking sound then you stepped to the sides like it was about to break, the bathroom didnt have a fan.They gave us all the WiFi info and then when it didnt work they said oh the WiFi is down right now you can only get service in the lobby.We paid for parking (for our car to just sit in their garage) and at that time they didnt tell us they needed our key untill we had already been there a day and then they took it, signs all over in the garage that say we are not responsible for lost of stolen item but they have the cars so smashed in their not in parking spots and then take the key, when we first drove in a huge truck was in the way and then to leave a few random maids had all the keys and moved around other peoples cars one maid couldnt move the car correctly and had a maintenence man help her...not sure how I feel about that.Otherwise it was a good stay, the kitchen was great it was a really hotel.
