Ive been volunteering with St. Anthonys for the past few years and I cant recommend it enough. There are a variety of different programs you can contribute to from the dining room, to the free clothing program, tech and medical labs- you can apply your skills in a way that feels rewarding and authentic to you while helping the community. Every experience Ive had volunteering has been superb from the organization of the event, to the education and impact of the services!
I have been volunteering in the St. Anthonys Dining Room & Free Clothing for 4 years. The organization does a great job creating a meaningful, organized and fun volunteer experience. It took me a while to find a nonprofit organization that could do all 3 things and maintain engagement for months/years. St. Anthonys is run by incredibly passionate staff. Volunteer shifts can range from a semi-full day in the Dining Room (~4.5 hours) 7 days a week to a couple hours in the Clothing Program on weekdays. Its a great place to bring a friend or family member to bond as well as corporate groups.
I have been volunteering in the St. Anthonys dining room for a number of years now. The organization has many essential services for those in need and has helped to humanize a lot of the issues our city faces. Its a top-notch organization run by people that really care about helping others. I always find it to be a rewarding experience when I have time to go.
I got involved with St. Anthonys a little over a year ago and cant recommend it enough! Its volunteering made easy, with wonderful people, staff, and volunteers. The dinning hall shifts are a great way to spend some time with coworkers or friends during the week or even over the weekend!
Ive been volunteering at St. Anthonys for a little while and its definitely one of the most rewarding things in my life! Volunteering in the Dining Room is particularly an inspiring experience -- its a humbling opportunity to serve thousands of guests that normally are ignored outside of St. Anthonys.
