Just great. Compact space, but packed shelves of quality foodstuffs and friendly staff. Its nicer than Safeway and has more soul than Whole Foods ❤️😋🥑
Sometimes you feel the prices are laughing at your face. How can a baguette be $9? Its not even fresh. In general its so expensive that you I only come when you have no options left.
This shop did not disappoint us! They continue to sell a wide range of foods and merchandise. Coworkers have been highly positive. Many of the pieces on offer are brand new and in excellent condition. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. You have my best recommendation!
This grocery shop was perfect for my needs. I was able to get what I badly need for a shower party at my place. Everything I need was all intact to this place. Their staff who accommodated me was very helpful and reliable. They deserve great ratings. Thank you so much to all of you! I will surely come back!
I love this grocery store because its more accessible than the rest. They have a wide variety of products, new fruit, and meat. Their rates were also much more competitive than the ones I used before. Well-organized show and improved lighting. The staff is good, too, and I find it refreshing to have my grocery stores here compared to other grocery stores. Its highly recommended!
Everything I badly need last Monday was all right here. I was able to make the things that I should be done. I dont know what to do if I didnt find this awesome place. I will definitely be going to tell all of my co-workers and friends on how great this shop was. Job well-done guys!
Theres no other supermarket that offers cheap prices on all items! Most of the products are fresh and new! The location is simple but very convenient to buy all your needs and wants. People are so warm and caring! I will be back here for more shopping!
I love the convenience of this location. They have anything and everything a large store has but not the hassle of one. Parking is extremely easy with the availability of the garage parking.
The quality of their food and grocery items is excellent. There are items you cant get at Safeway, Trader Joes or Whole Foods. The store is kept immaculately clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Its definitely worth the few extra dollars one will pay.
I am biased because both my parents work here. This is the best grocery store on Earth. Stop in at deli if Julia helps you tell her you know Pablo and she will make sure your sandwich is fantastic.
Although I joke that one needs a small loan to shop at Mollie Stones its a wonderful store. The quality of their food and grocery items is excellent. There are items you cant get at Safeway, Trader Joes or Whole Foods. The store is kept immaculately clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Its definitely worth the few extra dollars one will pay.
They have the most respectful and accommodating employers that would serve customers nicely and appropriately. Besides, their store has everything that I wanted to buy. Very good quality of foods, fruits, and vegetables. Also, I was stress-free when Im around here. The place was clean, comfortable, and stylish. Eventually, this store was the best!
This is a well stocked supermarket with good quality produce, meats, breads, cheese, and dry goods. also a solid deli counter. the checkout lines are prompt. Im a repeat customer, when Im in the Castro Ill do my grocery shopping here.
Great store, has everything I need. Process are higher than Safeway but its a much nicer store. Everyone that works there is so bright and cheerful!
Mollie stones is alright, decidedly a boutique supermarket . Prices are frighteningly high, though they have decent quality. Nice service and easy to get in and out.
One of my favorite store neat clean organized.
Very fresh produce! Staff is definitely superb. Very friendly and courteous.
It has good qrocery varieties, and affordable too
Great as usual.
Super clean. Very hygienic. Super heightened awareness for social distancing. Well and neatly stocked shelves.
Great market. The deli is wonderful. Friendly Staff. Delivery is absolutely convenient.
COVID 19. The good... They hand out gloves. There are nice glass barriers between checkers and customers. The bad... Security guards approach withing less that 1 foot. The security guard hands you gloves with his gloved hand.
Hands down the freshest meat and seafood. Everything cooked fresh too.
Some items very overpriced. Molly van is a great service shop and they take you home. Limited parking in the garage but is always helpful for a big shop.
Excellent selection, variety, and not too packed. Spendy. Way more expensive for staples than necessary.
Small grocery store with a variety of items. Prices are higher than other grocery stores in the area. Nice bakery and prepared food section. I would recommend it for a small grocery trip, but if you need a lot of items or regular household items, go to Safeway. Parking lot is nice. Mollie Stones will also take you back home in their own van.
Its expensive but the quality is high. Mike, the day manager, is superb. So kind & friendly, & he has utilized each inch of space in the small store. So walk all over it to find what you want. Your item might be in a neat corner.
Ridiculously expensive, but some of the best food selection in the area. Great place, but be ready to pay for the quality
Always great product and customer service. Some things can be a bit pricey.
Great neighborhood grocery shop. They do a great job of stocking everything you might need. Pricing and quality are about on par with whole foods but its a much more local experience at Mollies. Transportation is available via Mollie bus but I cant recall the timing.
Beware. Check the expiration date of what you buy, as they put the ready to expire items in the front to be sold. Pull items from the back of the stack instead. Also, items are much more expensive than other stores like Safeway.
I love this store. More expensive than Safeway? Yup. Friendlier and more helpful? Yup. For a small store does it have a good and quality range? Yup.
Lots of treats and basics too
Pretty expensive, the private label goods here should definitely be cheaper (like the Mollie Stones orange juice). That said, the quality and curation of items here is excellent, and the best part is the fruit selection. Come here in the summer and make sure you try some of their peach or apple samples. No ugly produce to be found here!
Convenient but overpriced.Best part is the Mollie van.Nice touch. And the driver, Phil is so nice. Always friendly, opens the door, helps with my bags etc.Keep him and hire more like him and Ill keep coming back.
Very nice grocery store but very expensive. But that seems logical since its in the middle of the Castro and they also offer the Mollie bus to take you home within a 10 block area in San Francisco after you shop there. They also have a parking lot. I got organic carrots broccolini and mushrooms for $19.95 so that sort of tells you the price of stuff.
Nice store. Good opening hours. Good selection. Prices quite high. Some cashiers are lovely (Rory), others arrogant and disgusting (get things out of their teeth, pull up their nose...).
It is a new ce place for shopping quality groceries and meats and veggies but be ready es expensive...
Its okay and the selections are plentiful. Small aisles make it wheelchair and mobility impaired and unfriendly. Prices rival whole foods. I walked through then out without purchasing anything. Parking is under the store and accessible.
Quality products and quality service
Just went to Mollie Stones and discovered a chocolate moose pie that was impressively moldy... Like days worth of mold. I told three employees. One told me that wasnt his job, it was the morning stockers job to throw it out. The second told me to tell the deli guy who had a line of people waiting. When I told the cashier, he said thanks, and went back to his job. Its kind of sad to see such a systemic lack of ownership... How did you yet like that Mollie?!
Visiting from out of town. Chef Donald and his team creates fantastic meals you can take back to your AirBNB and eat like a queen. I know I can count on Mollie Stones market.
Friendly staff, over-priced though....sandwiches that are pricey and not fresh. For Deli stuff, go to Rossis or Rainbow, this place is waaaaaay expensive.
There was no line to enter this morning at 9:30 AM. Friendly cashier and I found everything in my shopping list.
Convenient. Reasonably good selection for me. Quality. The hot prepared foods area improved greatly a couple of years ago and has maintained the higher standard. One thing that is my pet peeve here, though so many other shopping places where food is very expensive, the expiration dates on so many products lapse and Ive found myself taking them home before looking at the dates. Typically buyer beware, some items have turned color, taste, and density. On both sides of the aisle, more attention must be paid else why bother. Tofu is the worst, extremely perishable water needs to be changed almost daily if youre not eating right away. Sour tofu when you open it a day or 2 later is not right. I just have to do better on what I buy.
Expensive but staff aims to please
Seems to have healthy alternative lines of foods and theyre ingredients so to bake or cook with.
Castro Mollie Stones Market is cramped compared to most other locations. Pricey. Employees are very nice. The very convenient Mollie Bus is a great perk to help you get home up the hills with heavy bags.
Great customer experience, great fruit and produce selection and overall good selection. Pricey, but understandable considering quality and location. I recommend coming here if nearby.
I went there for a quick bite for lunch. Horrible. I was extremely disappointed. How do you mess up fried chicken?
Nicest Mollie Stones Ive been to. Everything is beautifully displayed and all staff friendly & efficient.
Friendly staff, over-priced though....sandwiches that are pricey and not fresh.
Nice step above Safeway 😱
Mix of regular grocery products with emphasis on gourmet items. Good deli counter for meats and sandwiches.
Very good quality organic produce. Very friendly service.
Excellent selection but a higher markup than Safeway.
Its a great neighborhood grocery store has everything you need to make a great home cooked meal
On the expensive side. Visiting from the UK all produce in SanFran is about 3 to 4 times the cost.. this was the most expensive shop of our stay.Nice and convenient though.
Great little neighborhood grocery. Everything you need with plenty of tasty treats to boot. Yum!
Love the staff but a bit pricey
Rory rocks! Super helpful and friendly. Ask him about cheese :)
Nice local grocery store. It is not huge, but it has a decent selection. It can be a little pricey at times.
Horrible service from the deli department. Mostly they just talk amongst themselves. Tried four different days to buy the impossible burger. They dont know what it is even though they have a big sign in the window.
I wouldnt want to do all of my shopping there, as it is they have limited selection due to the size. But, when you need a few things, it is very convenient.
Great store! Convenient in a busy neighborhood.
Good selection, items cant find at Safeway. Friendly Cashiers.
Very welcoming and friendly! Great selection of local and organic.
Great selection. My favorite grocery store
Gteat selection of unique food items and the staff is very friendly and helpful. After shopping they have a free shuttle to get you home with your goods
Good selection. Overpriced. Possibly more than whole foods.
Selection, quality, and convenience are good. Prices not so good
Pretty good store in Castro near twin peaks
Friendly staff, and great selections
Great place that is close by and friendly staff.
If you dont mind paying $2.40 for a peach, this is a clean, friendly grocery store.
Price gouging on groceries is sinful.
Decent neighborhood grocery store. Lots of stuff overpriced though.
Comparing prices item for urn with Safeway I found this to be about 33 percent more expensive, but I guess thats the price of a convenient walkable grocery store.
Super friendly grocery market.
Cant beat the convenience in the castro, certainly can beat the prices. This place aint cheap
Nice if you forgot to buy something in a big supermarket, but this store is not very big and is quite expensive.
Fresh food and well stocked.
Freshest meats and produce around.
I ate a pie that had mold on it and it wasn’t expired.
No kosher foods. You are out of your mind
Expensive but its a good location and they usually have everything you need :)
The produce is consistently a day away from rotting
Great place to shop
Great service!
Works as a neighborhood market, but nothing special at all
So expensive, but convenient.
Mollie was pretty nice.
Very Expensive
$4 for an avocado! The kale turned yellow the day after I bought it. WholeFoods is cheaper and better but maybe too far to hike if you’re walking and schlepping groceries up the hills.
It is a supermarket that sells good things, but also really good ready meals made on the spot. And the people who work there are nice
Well stocked. Prolix.
