Igor and Vladimir did a tremendous job sanding and resealing our deck. They were highly professional, knowledgeable, efficient and finished the work on time. The pricing was very competitive and the value was fantastic. As you can see from the photos, they truly transformed our deck.

Our deck, outdoor stairs, and the fencing around the deck badly needed power washing, sanding, and refinishing. Igor provided an in person evaluation and cost breakdown, gave good advice about how to treat the redwood and ipe, and oversaw the work daily. Vladimirs work was excellent, the grueling sanding and refinishing was done very carefully, and he was on time, professional, and thorough. The result is beautiful, and will protect from the wind and weather for several years. Igor and his team are great. I just had my deck refinished and the results are fantastic. Not only did he do a good job, he talked me out of a couple bad decisions regarding deck stain, color, etc. Definitely take his advice. You know theyre detail-oriented when you see them getting after the nooks and crannies with an individual brush! They are also competitive price wise. Overall a great value I would say. Im planning on using them for future projects of this nature.

We found Igor through our neighbor, and Im sure glad that we were able to bring him on to paint the facade of our building. His price was on the more competitive side (ie. slightly cheaper) when compared against the other 4 estimates I had from SF-based painters, but Igor included repairs to our waterproofing and flashing at our false-balconies which other painters excluded. He also took care of the scaffolding contract as well as logistics of sub-trades (which was included in his proposal), and he even suggested improvements/repairs which he covered at no additional cost bc it was convenient for his team. The work he did was great, and its obvious that his painters took great care.With all the nightmare contractors out there, Igor is a diamond in the rough. Hes honest and has a great personality. No change orders - all scope discussions were straightforward.If youre comparing painters, Vanguard should be at the top of the list. You wont regret it!

The work was completed a half day early with constant attention to quality and cleanliness. He arrived promptly at 3. He stated that he could complete the job in 2 days. His associate Vladimir started our project the next day and arrived each day promptly on time and finished in exactly 2 days.He did high quality work. We just had Igor and his team refinish our terrace deck. We requested proposals from several contractors. A couple contractors suggested larger projects than was necessary. Igor came in for a review and proposed refinishing the existing deck (wood was good, needed cleaning/sanding, oiling, etc.), but that we didnt really need to go with a complete overhaul. The final result of the work was fantastic. The deck looks brand new. Igor and team were punctual, polite, diligent and got the job done, as promised, and on time. Igor and his painter were very professional and prompt. Igor explained everything and did exactly what he said he would do. His painter was very detailed and precise in his work. They did lots of preparation work before painting. His painters removed old chipped paint, patched up holes and cracks on siding, replaced rotten trims and moldings, and restored some exterior deco. My house is an old Victorian with a lot of detail and they did a great job restoring it to its former glory. I highly recommend this painting company for any exterior painting job.
