My sister and I stopped in randomly for a mani-pedi each. They sat us quickly, which was nice. And the decor is really pretty. But the rest of the experience wasnt awesome. I saw them using tools that didnt look 100% sanitized. My big toe was raw from too much filing. Lastly, my gel polish started lifting after only 3 days.Bottom line: I wouldnt go back.There are so many other places you can go to instead

I just finished getting a gel manicure and regular pedicure from Mani-pedi. It was my first time here so I didnt know what to expect. My pedicure went fine. Love the color and work the lady did. Wish I remembered her name.My gel mani was a big disappointment. Which is what the 1 star rating is based off of. When my manicurist was done with my nails, I told her the polish was not even. Some spots were more colored than other. So she said add more coats. I was hoping she would start over because it was getting thick already. But after another layer of polish, I can already tell it wasnt going to fixed my nails. In the end, the color looked more even but now its super lumpy. I left very disappointed. Normally, I pray that my gel mani will stay on for 2+ weeks. Now, I cant wait to get rid of it.On a brighter note, the nails looks good in pictures. It just annoys me when I touch my nails.

I saw them when walking by one day. They were busy so I was sure i could trust them. And the name is mani pedi so you’d think that it would be their specialty. Quite the opposite actually. I asked for a short mani but found myself asking the woman not to trim into my cuticles they were so short. She was madly incompetent and wildly novice to be in the city. I will never be back. Shouldn’t have cheated on my nail tech in Lafayette.

Updated for 2020: This place has gone downhill. I stopped going a year ago when my gel manicures stopped lasting the two weeks they are supposed to. Went in today as my new regular place is closed - manicure is terrible: messy edges, uneven nail bed (even tho I asked to buff down, and they have tools to do that). When I told the manager I wasnt happy she couldnt understand why. Pointed at the specific places on my nails (that I had been pointing out along the way). I wont be back.Old review: These ladies are great. Will be going here as long as I live in Noe Valley.

Friendly service and clean. The massage chairs were comfy. Walk ins available or by appointment. Complimentary tea. If you arrive before 2pm a mani-pedi combo is 27$.

Overall service could have been better. I made an appointment about 2 weeks in advance, but that didn’t seem to matter much because when I got there on time, there were already a few people there being serviced before me who didn’t have an appointment. The person doing my pedi was super nice and thorough though! Also, make sure to have cash, as they seem to frown upon those who don’t..

VERY clean and absolutely beautiful work

I got the most meticulous gel manicure from Beverly. I was very impressed by her attention to detail and concern for shaping my nails to my preference. She tried THREE different black polishes before settling on one because I specifically asked for a true, opaque black and she wanted to make sure I was satisfied. Three weeks later and they still look amazing. I will be going back.

Excellent nail salon in town. My technician really care about overall of my nail health and beauty. She always gives me the best advice what service will fit best for my nails. My shellac stays more than 2 weeks, but it still looks great with no chips or scratches. Amazing! Im hooked every single time here. Love it so much.

Really hit and miss here. Sometimes they get it right and its great, others its really off par. Shaping is always uneven which is a shame, and edges always rough. The service you get varies too, sometimes youll soak your cuticles, sometimes not, sometimes you get a palm massage, others not. Sometimes they rush you in and out. The salon needs something to look at as its hard to know what to look at around the room for an hour long plus gel manicure. You pick a colour and its sometime run out from the shelf or not available. Also, I always make an appointment butt hey often have too many people on the go so you have to wait regardless. Loads of pinks and blues and neutrals, not many glitter colours or shimmer colours. But they do do a great French polish.

The final touch was nice. But there are a lot of things they dont know how to do. They only have 1 mani table!?

As a personal specialist in the last-minute mid-price-range manicure/pedicure panic, I have to say Mani-pedi has been my favorite. I have never had my fingers and toes so thoroughly treated, and two weeks later, I have a single tiny chip from rock climbing, and otherwise flawlessly intact gel. My cuticles were well trimmed without causing the flakes or tears that so often appear after trimming. And honestly - I didnt even recognize my feet as my own when they were done.

Love this place, if looking for well done acrylic nails, hands down the best place is SF I’ve found. Howie is the master for acrylic designs, call ahead of time to get a spot.

Ok service, sweet ladies working there, but quality just ok. A feeling of assembly line, but the price is competitive. I had a ordinary pedi, better than just ok, but my friend had gel pedi and hers was less good than ok. I wouldnt go there again.
