If you think you’ll receive quality care from this institution; I’d like to inform you of exactly how wrong you are.I saw Dr. Armando Leon and it took me having to have spent nearly $2,500 before this man even attempted to treat me like a human and not a paycheck. His condescending and rude comments take me aback at even the thought. This place is meant to drain your pockets and there is ZERO regard for patient wellness.Avoid at all costs

Do not use this organization they will do what they can to take your money.I called them up seeking a screening for a specific condition. They connected me to a doctor they said could help me, but when the session came the doctor first did all the intake stuff to eat up time then he told me he could not help me with the issue I came to him for (but oh, of course hed be willing to do other things!).And after that, they dare to bill me. They are out of network so I am out of the money.

Ive had a wonderful experience at the Clinic. The providers Ive worked with are outstanding - they have really made a difference for me. The clinic also handles the insurance billing so I can get my reimbursements without making claims myself (they are out of network), which takes a lot of that stress out of the equation.

Money $$$ seems to come 1st & foremost here, stay away unless you want to be financially traumatized! You will quickly become BOTH mentally & financially troubled in weeks. Just read the recent reviews below. Omg. Caveat Emptor, let the buyer beware.

No star - DO NOT RECOMMENDI filled out the intake paperwork 24 hours in advance like asked. Two hours before my appointment I was notified by their admin staff that I was being turned away from a video screening Bc my paperwork put me in a “risky category”. We currently are in a global pandemic where physically we can’t meet in person. Further more for some of us, since we are seeking mental health help, are terrified of leaving their house and getting sick. The Clinic basically turned me down and discriminated me based off of my intake paperwork. When I spoke to Britney Bliar about the matter she was unprofessional and defended her staffs actions. It really makes someone who clearly needed help feel even more trapped when a doctor, whose job it is to evaluate people, turns you down. I’ve noticed The Clinic has been responding to posts to lie and cover up their actions. Please don’t bother responding to mine. This is what happened. People deserve to make their own decisions based off of your bad evaluations, not your excuses.

I have never written a negative review on google. But this was the worst experience I have ever had with a group or doctors office submitting claims and working with insurance. I was paying up front $250 per session and then after two months of receiving no claims and several emails the clinic telling me all was well with submitting insurance I called my insurance and they told me they had received no claims. The clinic after several asks (many not responded to until I CCD my doctor) said oh wait we have been submitting it wrong so now will submit your claims correctly. More time passed and I received no claims checks and the clinic claimed it must be because my insurance is slow. I called my insurance and found out my $250 reimbursement checks were being sent to the clinic instead of me because of how they filled out the paperwork and some of the checks were already cashed. I was stunned. They were very unprofessional and need to get their act together when managing their clients money. I can see from other reviews others have had similar issues and I hope at some point they take responsibility for their carelessness. It is unfair to any patient and the doctors.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Liars liars liars. They swore up and down that they would work with my insurance and, despite their $250 fee (ludicrously high even by SF standards and laughable that they try to pass it as their therapists being superior to other options. pfffft. mediocre quality at best) up front payment per session, my portion would surely be less than $50. Nope. I was never reimbursed. The Clinic repeatedly lied about even trying to bill my insurance. They would say they talked to my insurance but then Id call my insurance to confirm and be told they hadnt. After ~6 weeks I told them I couldnt keep paying this much out of pocket with no insurance reimbursement in sight. There was no willingness to still work with me or help me find other care. After I stopped being seen I spent over a year asking that they do what they promised and proactively resolve with my insurance but got nothing but more lies. They maybe called insurance a few times but never resolved anything.

Never go to these guys. The doctors are inexperienced and they do not do their insurance homework before you go. They told me I would be responsible for a $40 co-pay and I ended up paying for a $500 visit. Why on earth does it cost $500 in the first place.

Omg! My 17 year old son was in a full blown panic, anxiety, and depression attack on a Friday afternoon. We have kaiser and they couldnt see him for 2 weeks unless we went to ER. We did but the wait for a kid going thru a psychiatric breakdown was too long and he became even more agitated. I called countless psychiatrists in my area to no avail. I was desperate to get him help. I finally came across this fabulous clinic. They could sense my desperation and after much work on their part, were able to schedule Candace, a psychiatric NP who was able to schedule a video intake appointment 1 hour later. She was able to diagnose and get him started on the meds he so desperately needed. Life saver! He is a totally different kid even after only 3 days of meds. Its been three weeks and he has had more appointments with NP Candace. I am forever grateful to all of the people who worked so hard to make this happen on such short notice (Jane too!). We will continue out of network with Candace. Cannot put a price on this kind of service. Thank you so much for all you did for our family, and especially my son. You will all get a gold star in heaven!!!!!!!Eternally gratefulRobyn and C.
