Neil Sigua set me up in about a half hour and the internet runs great. My speeds go from 200 mbps to 300 mbps down to about 80 mbps up, which was roughly what I was getting with Comcast for twice the price.
JUST DONT. Seriously. Nothing but issues since I began service 5 months ago.I need to say that this is my first non 5 star review ever on google and I review places quite often. I dont feel good about it leaving a 1 star review, but, Im actually hoping you can avoid what Ive dealt with, or, that Windstream will get their internet service together. I will say the the customer service representatives have been kind and empathetic and I am very thankful for that. And ...Here are the reasons why I am leaving this sad review -- I have had to call at least two times a month due to the service not working properly since I began service five months ago. Over 4 repair visits later (Ive lost track) and literally hours of time spent troubleshooting over the phone (like the same thing every time), Im somehow still in the same spot with the service.I use high speed internet for work. Needless to say, this has caused several inconveniences.In response to the issues, a representative kindly offered me a refund for all 5 months of service - I thought this was incredibly generous! Holy cow. They said that in order to get this refund I must call back when the issue was resolved after this next repair visit. The internet was up for a day (as usual), so, I called. The new representative reduced the refund from one hundred fifty days to fifteen days. And, today the internet is not working again. SO ... I just got off call number 10-15 (where I read my review). Again, customer service reps are super kind. So ... they at least have that going for them. And! When the internet IS working, its fantastic -- its just not at all reliable.
