I’ve been coming here for about 2 years, but for the first time today I had Botox done by nurse Nia. She is amazing and deserves 10 stars!!! She’s very knowledgeable, she answered all of my questions and also gave me information that no other nurse had ever given me. She took her time and didn’t rush. I highly recommend Nia.

I love Dr. Lisa! I frequent her SF location, and went to her 5 years ago. I have to admit I did cheat in between by going to LaserAway, and thats something I regret very much!LaserAway definitely lost me as a client, because they arent honest at all. I definitely appreciate Dr. Lisas blunt honesty. Thats how I am with my clients too. :) I also think Dr. Lisas sense of humor is hilarious.I love Botox, and Dr. Lisa broke my Filler cherry 2 weeks! I love my lips! Definitely want to go just a tad bigger, for sure! Their Botox are $10 a unit.I drive up to her SF location from San Jose. Thats how much I love her, and her staff.Im sorry I strayed Dr. Lisa! I wont stray again!Photos of my lips are the day I’ve had them done.

Just went for a consultation on some ice pick scars and was really hoping the reviews for Dr.Lisa was incorrect. Sadly, it was mostly true. She wasnt mean or unfriendly but she definitely seemed like she was in a rush. She talked fast and was hard to understand either due to the mask or because of an accent. I had to reask the staff at the front desk for a recap of her notes. She was also half an hour late to the consult (probably why she was in a rush when she did meet with me) and then talked to me for 5 mins on a procedure that i already knew she would recommend. Incorrectly assessed that I was low risk for hyper pigmentation and then quickly gave me a brightening cream which was $85 (with discount). Ive been to other spas before that would provide a sample to see if it would work. In all, I would have to agree with the others assessment of her - not ideal and need more people skills and needs to SLOW DOWN.Front desk staff were excellent! Friendly and helpful

Serenity is the only med spa Ive ever been to, so I cannot compare it to another spa, but I really like the efficiency of the staff and the price and quality of the treatments. I always have my appointments first thing in the morning on Fridays or Saturdays and it always a breeze in and out in 15 min or so. Ive had 20 Cc of botox in my forehead in 2019, 40 Cc in 2020, and Im going to get 40 Cc again in a few weeks, and Im currently 2 sessions into laser hair removal on my armpits. Next time Im in Im going to get a skin consult on my hyperpigmentation and acne scars. Ill update my review if I end up getting treatment on my face.

The staff, nurses are amazing, warm and friendly .As for Dr Lisa she needs more people skill training, her energy & Vibration is way off as if shes either tired or doesnt want to be there . not sure if I caught her on a bad day but after reading other reviews my perception seems very accurate .

I used to do my tattoos removed treatment here with jame, i loved his job done he said my tattoos can fade away around after 3-4 time treatment, but after 1st time treatments for 1and 1/2 legs he moved to LA and there is a new lady continue my treatment but I’m so disappointed with the results after the 1st treatment with her, it’s just little fade and I don’t see much difference, it’s not fair with what I paid (600$) 1time/leg treatment, ( same prices with jame ) it’s hurt the same, 2 nd time I come back to continue my treatment with her and I told her “I don’t see much difference, can u go deeper or something” and I told her how is jame did before, she said “that is how they do, it’s will fade after 2 months, you can’t see the results now “ and i might need about 8-10 treatment for my tattoo .... so the just hold my unjustly and let she done for the 2nd and paid another 600$ And that’s it I’m done with your !They just want you to come back for more treatment so they can make more money meanwhile they can do it a few time treatment, it’s hurt the same every treatment, more treatment more money for them and waisted your time !

The new location is bright, has nice set up. I have been going to Serenity MedSpa for 8 years. Allie is very knowledgeable treating Asian skin type. She has done an amazing job reducing and minimizing brown spots on my face; I got to save my face without getting laser treatment. I love my skin and how it looks.

Really efficient, arrived early and they were able to accommodate me which was great. I appreciate the tips, advice, careful procedures - not rushed. I love the nurses - they are very efficient and knowledgeable. Plus, they are so respectful and down-to-earth, not snobbish. This is one of the reasons why I recommend Serenity and why I come back here over and over again.

I had an amazing experience for my microblading and lash enhancement procedures here! Stella is extremely artistic and truly great at what she does. She was very sweet and so personable! Booking with her was easy and seamless. On the day of my appointment, I was greeted by Stella right away and we hit the ground running from there. Both procedures were virtually painless and I could not be more pleased with the results! I no longer have to spend half an hour in the morning to get ready and now I can literally say “I woke up like this”!Thank you, Stella, for the natural, full brows, and brighter eyes!!

This place is great. I’ve been going to James for about 1.5 years for multiple tattoos removals. (Young and dumb, what can I say) James is cool, easy to talk to, up front with what your treatment plan will realistically look like, and the prices are competitive.

Dr Lisa is not only an incredible doctor, skilled with a fantastic eye. She is also incredibly sensitive to her patients. The whole staff makes you feel wonderful. I can not recommend this place highly enough!

This place runs a tight ship! When you show up for your appointment they are ready for you..always on schedule. Procedure is simple and they use tiny needles so I never have any markings right after injections. (Other places I have walked out with lumps on my forehead) Reasonable prices! They know what they are doing. Fast and easy Botox palace!

Disregard this 5-star rating - Dr. Lisa Kang deserves a galaxy of stars!!! She is an artist in cosmetic enhancements.I never tell her what to do with my face. When i go to see her i say i have this much money, please do what you can for me. When i go to pay the receptionist tells me. Dr. Lisa gave you a lot of extras. All right Google. Make that 2 galaxies!!!

This place is really nice but the hours are awful. Really hard to accommodate anyone who doesnt work in San Francisco. They are only open 9:30 to 5:30 and on Saturdays from 10 to 2. Id love it if they added some evening hours on the weekdays or extended there weekend hours past 2pm so theyd be more available.

Waste of money and Dr. Lisa was completely rude! I had botox done and I didnt notice any difference. I went in for my follow up and voiced my concerns to Dr. Lisa and she was so rude. She offered to give me more botox at a lower price and I took the offer but she didnt didnt even ask me to squint and just injected me randomly and I have yet to see any results. I asked her questions about other procedures and she told me to google search it. She was so short tempered and unprofessional. I will not be coming back again. There are a lot better places in the city with doctors who actually care and know what they are doing.

Im having a lot of tattoo removal work done and James is awesome. You need to be patient, it takes time to do this the right way, but weve made remarkable progress and theres no skin damage or scarring so Im happy....

I had my brows done by Stella at Serenity Medspa. I was a little nervous because I had never done microblading before, but she made everything very comfortable and the results were amazing. My brows look so natural and I dont need to struggle with my brows anymore!

I went there last July and I fill in Botox. In less than a month I feel like if I never used this. I used to fill several times before in others places and I haven’t had this problem... so... I don’t recommend this place, I used 40 unit, so it wasn’t because I need more.

I came here for Botox injections using Groupon. The staff were professional and courteous, and I was extremely satisfied with the results. A slight touch-up was available for only $10 per unit. The place is spacious, clean and tastefully designed. There are many different cutting edge treatments available here. I highly recommend.

I have a visible acne scar from 10 years ago when I was a teen. I consulted Dr.Lisa about my scar and her response was to give me a cortisone shot, which I find out after doing some research, is a treatment designed to relieve pain and inflammation, and is mostly used to treat cystic acne, not severe acne scar. It has ABSOLUTELY no alleviating effect on my scar and is A COMPLETELY WRONG STEP. Worst of all, I a, left to deal with the SIDE EFFECT of a cortisone shot, which was A DENT on my face. I want to warn all of you guys to DO RESEARCH before you decide to go with Dr. Lisas choice of treatment! I have panicked for weeks because I am worried about getting the side effect of a cortisone shot on my face!However Dr. David is pretty nice and the staff there were really willing to help :).

I’ve been going here for 4 years when I need a tune up - their prices for aesthetic medicine are among the best in SF and the staff is incredibly friendly.

So pleased with Dr. Lisa and the whole team here. Everything always turns out wonderfully, and the staff are so helpful and kind.

I wouldnt trust this office for anything more than your basic Botox or less advanced cosmetic procedures. Ive had a horrible experience here- the doctors are NOT BOARD CERTIFIED COSMETIC SURGEONS--they are just certified as a GENERAL surgeon, thus one is taking a HUGE risk of aesthetic outcomes with someone who is not experienced in the art of cosmetic surgery. Ive seen firsthand how much this makes a difference because Ive had a procedure done there and the results were sub-standard. Second opinions from other surgeons have pointed out the doctors here are not plastic surgeon certified and they have seen other deformed patients from the office come in to see them. I indeed looked up the certifications for the doctors and confirmed-THEY ARE NOT PLASTIC SURGEONS- do not trust with your body!

Ive no experience with a med spa but took a chance and got a Groupon. They are clean and fast but I felt the girl spent time with me to answer questions. She also referred me to Dr.Lisa who came and spoke with me in 5 min. She was rushed but answered my questions and it was a nonsquedled consultant. I am going back for filler.

I had microblading done, ending result was tattoo looking rather than the natural look advertised. The procedure is painful, a topical cream is applied to numb the area but I doubt it’s a high grade topical since pain was felt.Appointment originally scheduled for specific time slot, however a day before I was told a different time to come in. Nonetheless had to go because it was follow up appointment.

I bought a groupon. Liked the fast and efficient service.The downside is that they actually dont spend enough time to understand your needs.

This is an upscale medical spa located on tony Maiden Lane in the heart of Union Square. They offer a variety of services (Botox, Restylane, Juvederm, laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal). They have convenient hours, including Saturdays, and the space is upscale and sanitary (clinical but still spa-like). The providers are all very nice and professional. The front desk staff are young and a bit unpolished, but this is fairly typical. Tip: if you take Muni/BART, enter/exit at Montgomery Station - its only a block away and youll avoid the crowds at Powell Station.

So far so good ;) I just got my 1st of 3 treatments for laser hair removal...they honored the groupon price that had already expired ;) the staff was friendly and the office vibe was welcoming. it only took 10 minutes for my first treatment and I went for a quick consultation for restalyn under my eye troughs. dr. lisa came to my rescue and confidently went through the procedure and prices. I came here because of the yelp reviews...I feel very comfortable that they are certified surgeons. That is a major plus ;) with that said, Ill be making my appointment for restalyn in a couple days =) Im nervous because Ive never gotten anything done like that, but Im comfortable with dr. lisa and serenity medspa and counting on all you yelpers on this location ;) Ill keep you updated after the restalyn and my laser hair removal is complete ;) whooo hooo! sooo looking forward to it FINALLY!I also brought my mother in a few months later for an Emerge treatment! =) will update how that goes also! yay!
