I had an incredible first time visit at ReWAXation with Nicole today. Aside from being super clean and following covid protocols (temperature check and sanitizing upon entrance), the space was modern yet simple, private (only one client in the studio at a time), and relaxed. Nicole was friendly and has a lovely personality - the kind that immediately puts you at ease. She works quickly and thoroughly and made sure everything was to my liking before saying youre all done!. The only downside to this review is that it took me almost two years of living in the Bay to find Nicole and ReWAXation!! Best Brazilian wax in SF -- looking forward to my next appt.

I came in for a Brazilian wax & Nicole (Alex) was my specialist. I anticipated a lot of pain but she was so quick and gentle that I was honestly shocked at how little it hurt. I will definitely continue coming here from now on! I love how they go the extra mile to explain everything theyre doing to keep us safe and themselves safe from the spread of COVID. Ive already booked my appointment for next month!

Ive been a Rewaxation customer for several years, for waxing. Theyre very good at what they do, and do a fine job. There are certain techniques they could do slightly better (holding down skin in certain places to prevent wrinkling or bruising, for example) but on the whole theyre good. Very professional and easy to talk to. Recently I went to the Bush Street location for the first time, because their location near my home is shut. My waxer was fabulous, but one thing was really awful -- at the end, she started spraying down the table and the plastic partition immediately, before I even left! Flooding the place with chemicals and fumes! I immediately started having an asthma attack -- not even fully dressed yet I had to grab my remaining clothes and leave the room, gasping an explanation while I hurried out. Quite surprisingly, she followed me out of the room and asked me to return so I could pay! I explained that I didnt think they wanted to have to call 911 for me, so I wasnt going back in to the room. She figured out she could bring the tablet out to the lobby so I could sign it there. I gave her a good tip but I hope somebody pays attention and they cool it with the nasty chemicals! I feel so sorry for the women who work in this salon; I think these horrid chemicals, which they are inhaling in high amounts all day every day, are far more dangerous for their health than potential Covid might be; that stuff makes me sick for a reason, Im just a little more sensitive than others; its equally as toxic for them as for me. Whose doing tests on the effects of these high doses of chemicals on the workers?

I recently went to the Bush location and can’t recommend enough. They take the Covid precautions seriously which made me feel safe and at ease. The studio was super clean and my aesthetician Nicole was wonderful.You can wait in your car and they will text you when they are ready to see you. It was a super fast and easy process. Nicole recommended sugaring based on my needs. She did an amazing job and I was in and out in no time. They have adapted quickly to the “new norm” and it’s evident they have the safety of their staff and customers as their #1 priority.

I have learned the hard way to wait a few days before assessing the quality of a wax hair removal. A week after going to reWaxation for a full brazilian, I can confidently say that Nicole is amazing! I dont know how she did it, but she was thorough, no broken hairs are growing back, and my skin is not irritated at all. Absolute perfection, and the regrowth is acceptably smooth and soft.Also, Nicole herself is a gem - sweet and upbeat, friendly, professional, calming. The space itself is large, airy, and impeccably clean, and I like the setup with the plastic sheeting that provides more protection for the esthetician and the client. Nicole also was very fast, which didnt affect the quality at all, so you are also not in the space for very long (but you dont feel rushed, either).

I just visited the new Bush St location (right across from their old location) and the upgrade is so much nicer than their old spot. Overall amazing experience and will be back again. The instructions were super clear, the front desk worker was friendly and accommodating. It was clear that they were making safety and cleanliness a priority. Shymell was so sweet and did a fantastic job. Ive been waxing for many years now, so its always a relief to find a waxer that makes you feel comfortable (especially during these crazy times).

Miscommunication with my first experience was handled very professionally and thoughtfully. Enough so that I decided to go back. Wonderful second experience! Super clean!

ReWAXation has always been a really sanitary, professional place to get a quality wax. I was over the moon when they announced they were reopening because I knew they would do it right (safely). They kept hand sanitizer at the front, they only allowed one client in the hall/lobby at a time. There was a plastic divider on the table separating me from Shay. Everything seemed really deliberate and well thought out. I felt more comfortable and safe.

It was first time getting waxed and nicole made me comfortable. She was honest about the pain and explained how the process. I was in and out and im coming back for my follow up.

Have received waxing services from here twice now! Once before COVID and another after the re opened. They were professional both times and you had many precautions for health and safety. Super friendly staff as well.

Took a chance at reWAXation when my normal esthetician wasnt opening back up due to COVID. Nicole did my service and it felt like Ive known her for years. She advised I switch to hard wax since I hadnt had a sugar wax since February and I always trust the professionals. The service was less painful than anticipated and she did it all in under 30 minutes. Super impressive. I really enjoyed that she could keep a conversation going without pausing in between pulls.I will definitely come back to reWAXation and Nicole for my next wax. So happy I took a chance here. The facility is clean and they only have one client in at a time. You wait outside until your room is ready and they place your upper half behind a plastic sheet so the esthetician can work on your lower half. Easy peasy. Paid via Square and was out quick and easy.Nicole is fantastic. Excited to have my monthly waxes back.

For my first ever waxing experience, I’m glad I chose this place. I had a very comfortable experience and would definitely recommend for first timers. It’s kind of a hole in the wall, but the technicians (at least the one I had) are very nice a thorough. I plan on going back for my 4 week appointment.

I had an appointment set at their Divisadero location but unfortunately I got there 15 minutes late and they couldn’t see me anymore. I scheduled an appointment the same day at their Bush location, parking was a little bit better than Divisadero area. - I texted them to let them know I had arrived, I was told they were cleaning the room that I was going to get a text when I would be able to come-in. Gabi was my aesthetician, she was amazing! The whole experience, from their precautions, to the procedure, to details of her next steps, it made the appointment easy and comfortable. It takes me a good 1/2 hour plus looking for parking, but I am so glad I found reWAXation and can’t wait to go back!

Ive been going to this place for a couple years now — they really are the best. Claire took care of me this past weekend. Shes skilled and gentle, but we also just had a really nice conversation that totally took my mind off the wax. She did such a thorough job, down to the extra tweezing at the end. And honestly, thats my experience with practically every technician. I highly recommend this place.

Rewaxation was extremely clean and sanitary, I felt so safe and taken care of. They have partitions in the room and disinfect everything in front of you and take your temperature. I work on a doctors office and I would recommend this place to everyone! Thank you Rewax!

Even though there were more wax applications than Ive had in the past, Claire did an extremely thorough job and even used tweezers for the stragglers. Great results. It was slightly less painful than other places Ive been.

It takes a certain personality to do this and make you feel comfortable and every person that has helped me out here has always made me feel comfortable and not rushed. I love rewaxation and I am so happy they have opened up again. Before covid, everyone was always super nice and welcoming to me! Artricia does such an incredible job with my eyebrows and I am super picky.They make sure you wear a mask the whole time, sanatize everything and maintain social distance when they can!

Just recently got a Brazilian done. They moved right across the street from their previous location. Their new building is bigger and very clean and sanitized. They check your temp before you enter the building and are fully wearing masks and gloves. Getting my Brazilian done, there was a vinyl drape dividing the lower half of my body and knowing that before I went in for my appointment, I thought I would feel awkward but it was actually a lot more comforting with the vinyl then without. You feel a lot more comforted and protected along with the fact that your still able to see everything she is doing through the vinyl and are still able to have a conversation.Try it out, you won’t be disappointed. COVID safe!

Ive been going to Rewaxation for over a year now, after moving from different wax places all over the city. This is the first place that I have felt comfortable in and every member of staff that I have worked with has been a delight. Often times the staff are also very efficient (on Sunday, my appointment was over with in 10 minutes!). I will be a customer for years to come.

Got my back, shoulders, neck, half arms and sides done and I must say it went amazingly. Much quicker and less painful then other places Ive gone to. The staff were awesome and made me fell very comfortable. Ill for sure tell my friends and return.

Was waxed by Shy and she was great, very gentle and made sure all the hairs were gone. Was understanding of me not being able to hold my legs open for a long time! Shes at both this location and Divisadero!

I have to admit that I was a bit turned off by the signage when I first saw reWAXation, but I went in for an emergency eyebrow wax, and my experience was great. They got me in last minute, everyone was nice, the place is very clean, and my eyebrows looked great. No complaints and will definitely return!

I went in for my very first Brazilian at 31 weeks pregnant and I did a bunch of research on the difference between sugaring and waxing. Everyone seemed to say that sugaring was the least painful, and therefore, the way to go. NOT TRUE! lol in my experience, sugaring was WAY more painful than regular waxing. However, I had an amazingly patient technician, Artrecia and I will definitely be going back to her again 👌

I was really nervous since it was my first time getting a wax but I had a really positive experience and am actually excited to go back. Not going to lie, it hurt a lot in the bikini area but it wasnt anything I couldnt handle. My esthetician was very friendly and made great conversation which helped me feel less nervous. And they have a deal for 20% off if you make another appointment within 4 weeks which I will definitely take advantage of. I highly recommend this place.

This is the only place I know of in the city that doesnt charge more for sugaring than waxing. Im a believer in sugaring, which is the removal of hair using only sugar, water and lemon- natural ingredients only. It seems to cause less irritation and fewer ingrown hairs than waxing because it pulls in the direction of hair growth instead of against. For those reasons, Im willing to bear with the pain, but I wouldnt try it until youre already comfortable with waxing.

I came here this past Sunday for facial waxing and underarms. It has been the best experience Ive had since I started getting waxed. The service was great and quick. Not only did I feel like I was treated well and extremely friendly, but there was little pain and all my unwanted hair is gone. I usually have to do some tweezing when I get home to finish the job, but not this time!

Prefacing this with this: I had a decent experience my first two times here, the job was done as expected and no surprises.Unfortunately the third time was horrible, not just unpleasant. Not only was the waxing much more painful than it should be due to the ineptitude of the reWaxation employee, it was also not even done properly. Lots of hair not removed. I had to keep checking her work and asking her to do spots she missed but I finally gave up due to the pain and the time it was taking her (the slow painful technique). Moreover, she was rude and unprofessional. She did give me a 20% discount to account for not completing waxing services but that didnt nearly compensate for the horrible experience.

I had a great experience at reWAXation! Erin made me super comfortable, they gave me a glass of wine, and the whole appointment took less than 10 minutes. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend it.

The best wax in SF by far.. quick and as painless as it can be. I was worried moving here from Hawaii that I wouldnt be able to find a good salon, Ive never had a longer-lasting just waxed feel.

Just got a spray tan for a wedding this weekend and the staff was so helpful! Answered all my questions and recommended the best color for me and I absolutely love it! It looks totally natural and I am feeling awesome, cant wait for my next tan!

Delmi did an excellent job, got a Brazilian wax before but the person doing it woul always leave hairs here and there, even on the front and would expect me to grab the tweezers at home and finish the job but Deli took all of it in an amazing amount of time! If youre looking for a glamorous spa experience, this is probably not for you. If youre looking for efficient, quick, friendly service that gets the job done and gets you in and out this is THE BEST!

I just had the best sugaring ever from Kelly at Rewaxation! She was quick and did a great job! Definitely finally found my go-to spot for sugaring.

This review is solely for a spray tan that I received at this location. Two stars only because the girl that worked on me was super kind, and made me feel comfortable. I am highly disappointed in the spray tan that I received. I did everything according to their aftercare instruction, and rinse/wash times as instructed. I went for a spray tan on last Saturday to have a nice tan while down in Cabo. I had a nice, but subtle glow the day after my spray tan. By Monday when I flew down to Cabo it was more than half faded, and by Tuesday (my first official full day in Mexico with bathing suit on) it was COMPLETELY gone. I wore underwear so I could see where the formula was once on my skin, but it was gone. This was really upsetting, and a complete waste of $55. The formula that was used doesnt seem like it is of quality to last more than a day or so.

Jennifer is easily the best beautician in the Bay. I moved house but still travel the extra distance to come back to see her on a regular basis. Speedy, thorough and lovely girl to boot!

It had been MONTHS since I had a Brazilian and I was nervous seeing someone new. I have course hair and some estheticians have been uncomfortable and not gotten all the hair. Erin was so confident and explained hard wax would be better first time getting back into Brazilians and then I can switch to sugaring on my next visit.
