Junk King was great! I booked online and when I called to reschedule I got connected to a live person right away. From scheduling, to in-home estimate, to removal appointment all employees were friendly, efficient, and professional. Communication was consistent as promised. As a customer service worker myself, I have high standards and Junk King exceeded them!

We did have a great experience! The phone communication to set up the appointment was so easy and thorough. We had a misunderstanding when we were informed the estimate visit and removal visit would take place at the same time, and when the removers came they said they could only do the estimate at that time. However, the removers accommodated us very nicely because of the misunderstanding and came first thing next morning, bringing four employees to get the job done quickly. They said they would be done in 20 minutes and they were! They were very friendly and we found the removal cost reasonable. They also phoned us several times before arrival to keep us notified of how close they were running to schedule. I would certainly recommend them; but be prepared, if it is a busy time for them, that they may have to do estimate and removal at separate times, even if the business says they should be able to do it at the same time.

Scheduling was super easy and they gave an estimate based on what items you needed to have removedI selected 8-10am pick up time. But the day of Junior called and said he wouldn’t be able to make it at the selected time and he gave me a later time. Which I wasn’t happy with but I appreciated that Junior called and explained things and did give me another time range. He also offered $20 off of the cost.Junior called during the new time range to let me know they were 20mins away and there were no issues removing my item.Junior and his team were very professional and I really appreciated that they communicated with me. Will definitely use this company again. Thank you!

This company is NOT GREEN at all! To be fair, the guys who came to empty the house were wonderful and happy and very helpful. But I am VERY disappointed in the company because they told me multiple times that they donate and recycle 60% of what they remove and it turns out they threw 100% of everything away. There were some very nice pieces of furniture (antiques!) and very good Decorative items, very nice clothing and appliances that ended up being torn apart and thrown from a second floor balcony into the truck which destroyed them all. I had called the customer service number many times to be sure that they do donate and or recycle the good stuff and they always reassured me that 60% would stay out of the landfill and what a green company they are. What a bunch of BS! If I had more friends to help lift things I could have at least put the good stuff out on the curb and at least somebody could have used these items. I suppose they are a good company to get rid of total junk but if you care about keeping good items out of the landfill then definitely don’t use them!!! NOT A GREEN COMPANY! Beware….

Awesome service, friendly folks, and incredibly speedy turnaround. Booked a same-day appointment to remove an old couch -- the truck showed up on time, the loadout was fast and painless, and the price was great. Cant recommend Junk King enough for junk removal and general good vibes.

The appliance removed was a large cast iron stove insert which had been sitting in our fireplace for approximately 40 years. After Loma Prieta earthquake we stopped using it, not too mention the pollution, so there this monster of a stove sat starring at us in our living room. Finally, the decision was made to get rid of this appliance so i called Junk King. They were great, I had used them several times before and was very impressed with their professionalism and their very positive demeanor, so we decided to go with them again. The cast iron stove insert weighed a ton, but the two employees jumped right in and were able to carry it to the front door, there another worker jumped right in and helped get it through the front gate and down the stairs onto a furniture dolly. Nothing was damage and all went smoothly. For me the cost was very resemble for such a heavy piece, and I mean heavy. The employee had called to let me know that they would be arriving in about 15 minutes, how wonderful to be kept informed and not have to wait all day. If I could give more stars I would, this is a great company, a great service, and fantastic employees who have a wonderful, positive attitude about their work. Best company out there for removing items you no longer need or want.

They called to say they were coming early. HUGE plus! I only had a couch to remove, but they were very kind, just came in picked it up and they were quick. Easy payment. I like that they give you multiple ways to pay. Id recommend them to anyone, and if i need anything else picked up, Ill be calling them.

When they came they wanted to charge us $261, which was too high for the small amount of junk; we told them that and they reevaluated it to $198, which was more reasonable and more in line with the amount of junk!Reliable and quick!

Our tenants had left some old bookcases and junk behind. Junk King showed up when they said they would, had good communication beforehand and during, and the price was reasonable. Would it have been cheaper for me to rent a van and take it to the dump myself? Yes, but factoring in time and gas and fees at the dump, this was a way better value! The guys that came to pick up the junk were courteous and worked quickly and efficiently. I am not so sure that this place could beat any price as they advertise, however. It’s actually quite expensive.Their website asks for a picture of the junk so they could give an estimate, but when I sent it they said they couldn’t give an estimate from the photo and did not make an effort to ask for more photos. So they said they’d come look at it and give me an estimate and then and I could take it or leave it. I had a 4’ x 5’ area of stuff probably 2 feet high. Not a lot. Their estimate was $308. Then they charged a $15 fee for an e-waste item. They did bring the price down to $293. I was under a time crunch so I had to do it because I was stuck. So their strategy of giving you an estimate only when they come to look at it worked. Oh, and they don’t take paint even for an extra charge.

I couldn’t of asked for more ! They helped me get a clear path for the removal and were so quick, polite and efficient !

They were very prompt and did everything we asked. We were given an estimate before any work started. The price quote was fair. The only downside was that they had an earlier job and had filled their truck to 1/3 capacity and had we not decided to keep a few items, we would had to wait for another day to complete our removal. They were able to break down our junk and fill their truck to capacity.

Quick response through Yelp. Early arrival. However I notified David when I gave him my address that google maps was wrong. I even wrote directions for the drivers. Information which was pretty essential in getting to the correct address was not communicated to the driver. Driver and helper courteous and efficient.
