I took my Samsung Note 9 to have the screen replaced at the Stonestown Mall in SF. It took over a week because they had to order the part. After I came home and set up the phone, I noticed some discoloration on a small part of the screen. I took it back to get it replaced, and they said it would take another week to order a new part. A week later I had the part replaced only to come home to find there were two small indentations in the screen, underneath the glass. I went back to have it replaced again and was told it would take another week, so this time I left the phone with them. After waiting two weeks, I hadnt heard anything so I dropped by their kiosk to get an update. They didnt replace the screen, and the repair person told me it didnt fall under the warranty. I tried to explain the indentation was underneath the screen glass, which was a defect. He insisted the screen was new and it was damage from the phone. I asked for his manager or supervisors phone or email and he wouldnt provide it. This has been a frustrating experience, and the customer service left a lot to be desired. They seem to use sub-par replacement parts, not OEM. I RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS PLACE. I would give this place zero stars if I could.

To my knowledge for an iPhone or an iPad or an Apple product if you want to get a screen replaced this is about the best shot I know of in San Francisco. They generally do a very good job they’re timely and the prices are reasonable. Reasonable compared to an Official Apple Repair which may require you to take out a mortgage.My understanding is that if you cannot go to them they will make an appointment with and come to you.

I needed just a screen change and they took the original display and put a fake Chinese fake one when there was no reason to change the display as well. In a nutshell, they stole me the original Apple display from my phone.

I had my iphone X repaired there first because of the cracked screen and it has been an awful experience. I initially just didnt want to wait in the line for Apple store repair, but turned out it wasted me way more time than just replacing my phone or get an official repair.First time the screen works but with ghost touch when typing, I thought it was small issue so let it go. Just within 4 days, the replaced screen totally couldnt turn on again. Its within their 10 days warranty so I came back. It took me another 2.5 hrs wait to get the screen replaced again.Just one month after the second repair, very severe ghost touch started and the second day, the whole screen had red strips turned up all over that I need to order a new phone.

So I have a friend who wanted me to replace his screen. When I opened up the phone (iPhone 7) I noticed some of the components from the inside where missing. I asked them where they previously got it fixed, and they told me here. I cant believe that as a business you would steal from your customers.

About a week ago I had my screen fixed at this kiosk, and today I pulled my phone out of my pocket and the screen was cracked. There was no hard force applied or sharp objects in my slacks pants pocket but I noticed a tiny tiny crack that is spreading. I called the kiosk and the guy Casey quickly responded that they are not insurance, I explained it seems to be defective, he says they dont sell defective products. Asked me to come in, hopefully I did not get swindled as I paid $140 for this screen and I sure didnt expect it to be so fragile I cant hold it in my pocket.

IPhone X had wet damage before and diagnostic was ran here that required only a LCD screen replacement. SAM (THE ASIAN DUDE) easily take my money before completely fix my phone. After replacement, now he require me to factory restart my phone then later say the motherboard also need change and require more $$$. SAM IS NOT VERY HELPFUL AND JUST KNOW HOW TO TAKE MONEY. REPORTING THIS TO THE KY HQ ABOUT HIM.

I got a new screen from them for my iPhone. As soon as I put on polarized glasses I couldn’t see the screen. This had never happened with any phone or screen I’d ever had. Then 30 minutes on the digitizer stopped working. But a couple minutes later it started up again after I shook it. I unfortunately was already home. 5 days on it stops and starts and I still can’t use it with sunglasses but I haven’t had time to go back. Last night I was shaking it to try to make it work and the screen cracked in my hand. Shattered.Now the shattered screen works at times and doesn’t work at times. I am going to take it back, hopefully they make it right.

Oof. I was convinced to come here because of the positive reviews. I was hoping to get a good display switch on on my damaged screen on my iPhone X. I took the bite and they charged me $199 for an OEM screen ($30 more then what they normally charge). Turns out not only was it not an OEM screen, I was going to lose my True Tone functionality of my screen because iRepair was incapable of configuring it. A little frustrated since they conveniently didnt mention this True Tone bit, I asked if I could just switch back in my old screen. Then of course they said they would have to charge me $45 for repackaging/labor. UGH!!!!! In the end, I just accepted my mistake of trusting these guys. Sad times :(

Sadly the screen replacement was not an original Apple, contrary to what I was told and paid for. Phone stopped working a few days after and I was told by an Apple authorized service and by one not authorized, that the screen was the cheapest available, and that the poor installation damaged the iPhone. Since I lost the receipt and they only take cash I have no recourse.

I own an iPhone 8 since March 2018.Unfortunately in June 2019 I broke the screen of my phone falling it down on a metal surface (piece of glass at the right top corner was missing + crack on the screen) and was thinking to repair it at an Apple store. So on July the 3rd I was at Stonestown Galleria and decided to find out the procedure of repairing my problem.Entering to the hall I saw iRepair kiosque.I went to Apple store and got a quote of 149 plus tax for the screen replacement and I has to wait for the spare part too.I decided to task iRepair specialist for a quote too. It was 120 USD cash and within 1 hour. I was surprised that the spare part was available there and now, and I decided to save my time and money.Getting back home I was a little bit upset because the colors of the screen because I felt like white is a little bit green, but I decided that I might be to picky.On the 29th of August, while using my phone as a navigator in the car I received notification on the screen that the phone is overheating. After restarting the phone the bottom part of the screen began blinking. After googling I found out that it might be a software problem and decreasing brightness will temporarily help. With brightness at lowest level blinking was disappearing.I went to iRepair and asked them whether making factory reset might help with the issue. The representative told that I can give a try, notifying me that if it will not help it is not covered by the warranty anyways...Factory reset didn’t help. I went to Apple store, they said that I need to change the screen once again for 149 plus taxes.I went again to iRepair. I told that the screen is factory defective. I have been told that it is internal crack. There is no damage on the screen though. Last time I was missing part of the glass and having visible crack on the middle of the screen and nothing was blinking.The offered me a discount for screen replacement.I managed to use my phone for 15 months and even after the incident with metal floor, nothing was blinking.So if you want to save your time and money go somewhere else. This place uses cheap screens and has no warranty + they accept cash only.

After a bad Phone Repair to me. I easily scheduled an appointment through their website, and they replaced my cracked iPhone 7 screen in about an hour. It ended up being a bit more expensive than Sprint quoted, but Sprints repair experience trying to get my phone repaired by Sprint, friends recommended iphone repair kiosk at stonestown. Other wise it wouldve taken up to two weeks and Id have to use a loaner phone - which my local Sprint repair store did not have.Do yourself a favor, forget dealing with your carrier, and immediately go to Stonestown mall and see iRepair guys

Incredibly unprofessional!I need to return to the store multiple times because they neglected small details; for example, dust cover on the speaker.I paid premium price on the screen that they claimed to be the factory screen. But, later discovered it was NOT the original factory iPhone screen as they claimed.

This guys were great! Fixed my broken screen on my iPhone 6s in just 10mins. They were very nice and provided me with a great service!

Went in to get my battery replaced on my iPhone 5s. They replaced the battery and now the touch ID and the speaker are both not working, which was not the case before I brought it in. When I asked them to fix the touch id they took the phone apart again, fiddled with it and then closed it and then they couldnt get it to work properly they said there was nothing they could do, but they took $10 off. So essentially I paid $45 (plus a $10 ATM Fee since they only take cash), and my phone is even more useless now than when I took it in. Will never return here for anything.

Really disappointed in these guys. I left my uncles iPad air for a battery replacement. Was told it would take 3 days as they didnt have battery in stock. After 4 days I started trying to call them to get an update but their mailbox was always full and couldnt take anymore messages. I finally stopped in again after a week only to find out that they just ordered the battery that day. Took my business elsewhere. Poor communication and service. Dont bother.

April 5 2017 @ 7pm – was at the Stonestown Mall about a 30 minute drive from my home saw a mobile phone repair kiosk named “i-repair”, walked up and asked if they fix screens. stated “yes we do what kind of phone?”. I stated a Galaxy S5, she said “we do”. I said how much for that? She stated $199.99.April 8 2017 – Was at the Stonestown mall again at about 11am. Stopped by the i-repair kiosk. “I was told you could fix my S5 screen by replacing it?” He said the glass or the entire screen? I said entire screen I have screen burn not a cracked screen. He came back and stated “$239.99”. I asked about the prior price I was quoted back on the 5th of April at $199.99. They whispered back and forth and said “yeah, Ok we can do the $199.99”. They asked I paid in cash the $216.41 and give them 40 minutes to swap out the screen.They inquired if I had all my data saved and backed up as they were going to possibly lose data in the screen replacement but assumed they were the experts and I should just trust that. I acknowledged all I need was saved.I was handed a receipt stating “LCD screen replacement” and I went awayI returned and they handed me what appeared to be my phone with a great screen and looked great in my same phone case and containing my sd and sim card and memory card. The phone said Verizon and I am with T Mobile so I suspected that maybe a software was involved that was Verizon based and asked He said “it will work and be fine”.I didn’t pay much attention to the phone until that evening. I looked at the phone again and was taking a picture and trying to text it. It would not text a photo, at about the same time I started getting error messages stating that the SIM card is not a Verizon card on the phone screen.Called t-mobile to see if this had to do with something I could do to switch my phone back to T mobile services.T Mobile rep. She stated “that isn’t your phone, you have a Verizon phone that is unlocked and we can’t do anything to make it a T mobile phone.”I still had the box from my purchase of my Galaxy S5 which had the serial number removed the battery and this wasn’t my phone! they took my phone and swapped out with mentioning it, without asking and lying to me saying on the receipt and in person the screen was changed.April 9 2017 – I returned to Stonestown mall again driving 30 minutes to ask for my phone back and state this is not my phone. they no longer had my phone. I was furious. They said in changing out the screen “something” had happened to it and it wasn’t there we have a white galaxy s5 we can give you. I was again just beside myself I hate and never wanted a white phone but felt desperate and agreed. He said he needs again 40 minutes to “go get it”. I agreed and when I returned in 40 minutes he handed me a white Samsung Galaxy S5 phone. I was disappointed but the screen seemed better at first glance so I left very irate and feeling taken advantage of. Said that swapping out phones on people if you don’t clarify or agree to that is not OK!As I drove home from the mall I had someone with me said “hey this one has screen burn too like you original phone you brought in” I felt so angry I turned my car around and drove right back to the mall. I walked in fuming the person in charge chuckled “you’re already back?”. I through gritting teeth said this phone is burned just like the prior one I originally gave you to fix. He started making excuses. He stated” ok I can order a screen it will be here in two days”.April 17, 2017 after giving extra time to call me and to get the screen I called and spoke to someone who would not give a name. he said I am sure he will deliver it later today”.April 21 2017 I called again and the person said that It didn’t make it they were ordering another it would be here in two days.April 26, 2017 I called again – I demanded a full refund for service not performed and that they could give me back my original phone or id have to live with this hideous white phone with screen burn. I stated if I do not get a call back in 24 hours

After a fun night fueled by copious amounts of wine, my iPhone 6 did a nice faceplant with the a hard concrete floor, rendering it totally unusable for the rest of the evening. A panic-stricken search on Yelp the next morning led me to Henry at iRepair, who does his work within Busy Mall in 19th Avenue, San francisco. Theres nothing more comforting than someone who takes a studious look at your tragically torn up screen and says, No problem. Give me thirty minutes.In fact, he was done in less than that time, furnishing my phone with a brand new OEM screen. He took the time to thoroughly explain his pricing (which had recently gone up to $110 from his usual $90 because of the recent increase in screen costs), as well as a few things about my phone that I hadnt noticed, like the fact that my phone was just slightly bent, which was why my old screen had been separating at the seams. He also discerned that Id gotten my phone replaced not too long ago (I had, by the MacFix in Sacramanto) and he told me that Id not only been overcharged, Id been given an aftermarket screen of lesser quality. My new screen comes with a 45 day warranty, which guarantees his work, excluding things like water or liquid damage.I couldnt be happier about finding iRepair, who made such quick, reasonably priced work of what I thought was irreparable damage. I highly recommend iRepair for any and all catastrophes that may befall your cellphone.
