Their correspondence during fixes is extraordinary and they dispatched through FedEx for me. I was content with the help so I expanded my star rating. Very smooth operation. Louie took this Dinosaur in, and explained my ‘old laptop’ issues at least twice (usually I need at least 4+ reps). He stayed calm never showed signs of frustration. As the laptop was going through the diagnostics he literally schooled me on my issue and much more. I walked out totally satisfied with the price and the lesson. Thanks Louie

Amazing! Apple was going to charge me $200 and told me that Id have to send in my phone to a repair center for a week. Steve charged me $110 and I was in and out of there in 15 minutes. Literally made my day.

Walked in at 5pm with two iPhones, 1 a busted screen and the other a broken earpiece. Sam fixes both perfectly in an hour for under $100! I definitely recommend.

This is going back a while but I had an iphone 6 which which needed a wifi ic reflow. I brought it in the guy was very nice stayed in extra late to look at my phone. However in his haste he long screw damaged my phone so it wouldnt even turn on any more. Lost a load of photos from the holiday, shame really as was a nice shop and a nice guy

Nice and easy, short and sweet. Charles was great. I brought my shattered glass phone along with an identical phone with a dead motherboard. He said it would be easy to swap the clean screen and indeed it was. He turned it around in about 20 min and passed along some good tips and information about my particular device.

I went into Mobile Kangaroo 5 months ago to have my logic board replaced on a MacBook Pro and was charged $650. My computer crashed again, and I brought it into Apple this time. They claimed it’s my logic board that needs replacement and that they could do this for $515.When I called Mobile Kangaroo (I spoke with Terry) she said there is nothing they can do. When I asked about the price difference, she said “we’re not Apple, we can charge whatever we want.” When I expressed my frustration about being sold a cheaper product for higher price, she responded “it is what it is.”In summary, if you go here you’ll get same-day service instead of having to wait a week to go to the Genius Bar. BUT, you’ll pay a much higher price for a product that will just go out on you in 5 months.

Paid $580 for a macbook screen repair. Since this is my only computer I was eager to pick it up, so left work and hustled over before they close at 6p. Knew I was cutting it close so called twice to confirm it was okay and let the tech know my ETA. Martin said he is closing right at 6, which seemed odd since it only takes a minute for me to pick it up. So I get there, exactly at 6, doors locked, and see Martin standing inside with his bicycle ready to go. I plead with him to let me get my laptop, but he refuses. I insist further but he holds his ground. Pretty ruthless. You think a place like this would have better customer service. Will absolutely never go to this place again and its actually shocking they are certified by Apple.Update:Ted reached out we were able to resolve this. Martin hand delivered my laptop the following day and we hugged it out. They even reimbursed my rideshare. Seems like it was really just bad timing and they are nice guys who run a respectable business.

Dont use apple pricing, very expensive

These guys are great. Ive had the misfortune of cracking 3 different phone screens, each time I just drop it off with them and its fixed within the hour. Additionally, they stand by their guarantee of service. First two screen replacements worked great but the third screen had a bit less responsiveness after they replaced it. I took it back to them, and they immediately replaced it.

Broke my sim tray inside my Google Pixel 2, after exploring a lot of other repair shop Kangaroo were able to remove the broken tray without even opening my Pixel. And in less than 10 minutes. AMAZING

Absolutely amazing, the owner of the shop is willing to stay overtime to fixed my friends iPhone screen when we arrived at 7:30pm. The screen was cracked really bad, and it took him 30 mins to make it like NEW when we received it. I absolutely recommend this place to anybody wanted to fix their phone screen!

Went today to get my iPhone screen fixed. Nice service, efficient and less expensive than other quotes in the city w/o the concern that they were using 2nd party parts...Also, in a nice location (Fishermans Wharf) so timed this on a sunny day and played tourist for an hour while they fixed my phone.

Mobile Kangaroo at Geary/Leavenworth appeals to me mostly because almost every time Ive been there, a hacker-type guy is the person that emerges from the back to talk with me.I prefer any electronics/mobile/computer store where I get to talk with a hacker ... that is, someone who is knowledgeable about the subject at hand and will discuss it for a few minutes. Ive probably been convinced that I could fix the problem myself more times than Ive ended up dropping something off BUT thats exactly why I always go here first.I down-voted Appeal and Service only because I wish that they kept more parts in stock.

This place was excellent. Originally came on recommendation from another store that these guys would get parts quicker so I called ahead and asked if theyd have the parts to repair my phone. They said they could get them by Monday, no problem. I came in, dropped off my phone, and Calvin had it ready in an hour. My phones an HTC G2, over two years old, and they had no problems with it. I even made a note about a cosmetic imperfection - a part hadnt been clicked in all the way, I figured - and he fixed it for me no worries. Easy to talk to, good service, not expensive, I couldnt ask for much more.

Made an appointment 1 week ago, when I got there they said they did not have the part.Drove 45 Minuets across town to get there and had spoken to them earlier in the day and they did not mention it. Waist of 1.5 hours of my time.

San Mateo store has better Rates and turnaround than San Francisco locationI paid hhalf the price SF quoted me and sf told me two days for repairs after part comes in. This is my second time writing a review but my first time was for my Phone repair. This time, I had my hard drive replaced dropped my laptop and had my track pad fixed. Great deal on both services. My track pad on my Mac book stopped working a couple days later it turned out that the problem was more serious that we had initially thought and they replaced my track pad with a new one free of charge. Could not have asked for better service. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

They replaced my LG G2 screen, and at first I thought they did a good job. Then a few days later, when I tried to use my GPS, I couldnt get any fix. Took it back, and they said everything was fine, that it was a software problem. I checked online, and foundout that the antenna contact is fragile. I removed the back cover and noticed it was damaged, hence no gps fix. Had to buy another phone since gps is important. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this place.

Dropped my Samsung Galaxy SIII in water. The display turned pink and the phone went crazy. Ted from mobile kangaroo repaired it in only 2 days! Great service, very friendly and the prize was totally fine. Absolutely recommend this place!
