Company is very patient oriented and a lot of work goes towards generating high quality diagnostic reports to help doctors help patients.
If you are even mildly active or sweat, the Xio XT is a bad choice for you. Please discuss with your doctor alternatives that are less expensive and more useful for active patients. The instructions claim that it is to be worn for 14 days. After two days, it became clear that the Xio XT wasnt going to last for 14 days, and after 5 days, it fell off.You should also check your insurance costs, as the charges for the equipment and the reports from the company are eye-watering.
You will likely have a significant out of pocket expense for the monitor. I have BCBS PPO and I was charged $675, Make sure it is worth it for you and check your insurance first.
I had insurance when I had this service provided, however, I was never notified that irhythm was outside my network - even though my provider was in network. Therefore, I got a $900 bill (later reduced to $400). This is absolutely unacceptable to me. The fact that no one contacted me to notify me whether I wanted to proceed and pay out of pocket. This is the problem with our health care, we have insurance companies (essentially useless despite paying $400 per month for them) and companies who don’t properly disclose the true cost to consumers. So my advice is verify whether they are in network before moving forward with anything - it shouldn’t be the patients responsibility as everything is so convoluted but this is the sad reality. Beware.
Great product and awesome customer service.
I used the iRhythm heart monitor for a week and it is not good for an active person. The monitor kept coming off, does not stay on when active. I think I used it about 50% of the time. Very expensive, billed $1000.00 for a week. There are better options out there.
Greedy company ripping off the sick. The patch is faulty, itchy, and costs $1000 for 10 days. Your heart will be healthier by turning down their services from your doctor and spending the money on something actually useful. For shame!
Worse place to work constantly harrased by management... Got fired for sticking up for myself... the products are overpriced, then doctors can give you the same information for a fraction of the cost.
