Look no further!!Before having my bedroom area rug cleaned by Rug Master, I thought my only option was to replace my white Restoration Hardware area rug Ive had for 10 years since buying it new from the store. You can imagine after ten years and having a dog what a white rug would look like.When one side of the rug was just too dirty after several attempts to clean it myself (about 5 years ago), I flipped it over to use the other side another 5 five years. Before throwing it away and replacing it, I decided to try a professional rug cleaner and did I luck out by finding Rug Master Cleaning and Repair.Jay gave me a quote, came to pick up and in about 3 weeks delivered it to my apartment in like NEW condition. I spent a fraction of the cost by having it professionally cleaned as opposed to buying a new one. Jay did an amazing job cleaning it and its sparkling white again, just as a new. EXCELLENT service. We needed our 9x12 wool rug cleaned after a dog accident. I reached out to Rug Masters and they wrote back right away and were able to pick the rug up the next day. Got it back yesterday and it looks good as new. You get what you pay for and for a high quality rug you want it cleaned right. Will definitely use again!

We have used this firm before. They are outstanding. The expertise and level of customer service remains consistently superior to anyone else we have tried. They have cleaned our Tibetan hand woven 11x11 rug twice and each time we get it back we don’t want to walk on it as it was spotless. They even moved our living room furniture back when they installed a much needed mat under the rug. We were using a cheap anti-slip mat and they convinced us to upgrade. What difference. And no hard sell. Just great suggestions. I wouldn’t waste my time with any franchised outfits. They are just too good.

Jay is a wonderful person who is extremely helpful. He explained, in detail, the services that his company offers. He explained to me what each rug in collection that I sent him pictures of and advised me about what to do with the rugs within the collection. He is a very nice person and is extremely patient. I will definitely be bringing the rugs to him for cleaning when we’re ready.

Rug masters picked up our expensive oriental carpet that had mildew in the corner from our live Christmas tree. They treated it for mildew and cleaned it until it looks new! I’m not familiar with prices—it was expensive—but I would do it again! They saved my carpet. They returned in in a timely manner.

Rug Masters cleaned our rugs and provided new pads . The cleaning wasdone to our satisfaction in good time and at reasonable cost. We will use their services again.

Rug Masters is terrific at repairing and cleaning old Oriental carpets. They know their craft and they know carpets. They dont oversell but they are conscientious about helping you preserve these pieces of art.

We reached out to Rug Master because we had several stains on our rug from when our dog was a puppy. We tried everything to get these stains out: vinegar, oxy clean, rental rug cleaners, and Stanley Steamer. NOTHING got the stains out of our Rug. We heard about submersion rug cleaning online and decided to try it as a last-ditch effort. After researching the companies in SF, Rug Masters was the most affordable. Their response time was quick and they picked up the rug within a few days of us committing to the cleaning. Per their quote, it will typically take 2-3 weeks to get the cleaning completed.Now this is where the one star deduction comes into play. Due to some extenuating circumstances, on the companys side, they ended up taking 4 weeks to get our rug back to us. Not a huge delay, but there wasnt any communication about the delay. Now, theres some responsibility on my side. See . . . the way that time works in the time of COVID, I didnt even realize that they had my rug for that long until I looked at the calendar. Once I realized the timeline, I felt a bit cross. However, when I called the owner they explained their personal circumstances as well as explaining that our rug needed two additional cleaning due to the set-in nature of the stain, which explains the delay. To make up for the lack of communication, they gave a discount for the services.When the rug was returned, it looked brand new. Absolutely no trace of any pet stains anywhere, for which we were ecstatic. The reality of the world is that sometimes, things will go wrong. What matters is how a company responds to an incident. And the way that they responded to this issue assured that I will be a life-long customer.

Jay and his crew did a great job with a custom cut and reweaving of our new living room rug from Macy’s and got it all done, delivered and installed with a custom pad (and removal And disposal of the old rug) on time for our Halloween gathering! I would highly recommend Rug Masters!

I was very happy with Rug Masters Cleaning and Repair. I got a bid from one other independent (non-Home Depot type) carpet company and they were almost identical. However, Rug Masters Cleaning and Repair had a much bigger selection and were much more educational about carpet type, etc. The installers were great and it looks terrific. Rita was very nice to work with; she was even concerned about my dog and making sure the process wasnt too disruptive for him.
