He knew how to perform the cutting and he made an effort to make a perfect hairstyle that suited my face shape and he applied a color that suited my skin complexion. I liked the result. Best barber shop in the city. Rather than getting junior barbers who dont really dont know what is what - they rent out chairs to the best of the best. Barbers running their own business, the old school way. Omar is just fantastic. The space is comfortable, authentic and in a great location. You will never go anywhere else. Ive been going to Omar for years and happy to see him step out on his own and get his own place. A truly local business with a local awesome dude.

Ive been to A LOT of barbers in The City. Hands down the best one. Ive been to Church which is considered one of the best and they have nothing on Old Mission Barbershop. After four different barbers I finally tried out Old Mission. No matter who Ive gone to Ive had awesome conversations with a great cut. They really take pride and thought on cutting your hair! Not going anywhere else.Also I was thrown off by it only having a 4.8 because its that good. Two of the three non 5 stars are from Tom Hills and Tom Hilson... Whats the likelihood of that...

Great barbershop. I highly recommend barber Tom Kern. Can (non-covid) get traditional shave too. Barbers rent their own chairs so place has solid vibe of professional barbers into their craft. Online calendar is pretty easy to login and make appointment (do need to create login but can use Google or fb login so dont need to store separate password) with your favorite person or find a new fav.

I would check out The Refinery Grooming Club or People’s first, since they run a much more professional operation. They do a fine job here, but are constantly running late, having scheduling issues, and don’t seem take customer relationships seriously. One of the issues with their poor management is that it’s simply impossible to conveniently find times to get a regular haircut here, since they’re always changing hours without notice.

Ive been seeing Omar N. for over 2 years. when he reopened OMB he took all precautions (temp check, masks, no waiting area, sanitizing tools & surfaces) so I felt very comfortable coming back to his shop.

Im excited to see this shop open in the Mission. Omar has been my barber for over two years, and I love his expert, perfectionist cuts. My friends always give me compliments. The prices right now are a steal — you can get an amazing haircut and beard trim for about the same price as a haircut at Fellow Barber.
