Love this place for haircuts. Mary was very professional, kind and did an amazing job. I’m very happy with my haircut and beard trim. Will absolutely recommend this shop to all my friends for their hair cutting needs 10/10

Extremely nice place.Ive gone to a few of their barbers but in different shop and they are great. But for my first time in here I picked Mary Davis, just because.I told her about my horrible experience in one of the popular barbers and she listened to what I wanted, suggested me things which I liked a lot.The haircut came out magnificent. Next times I had different styles and non of them were similar to each other, and sometimes I want something but don’t know how to describe it properly, but she manages to cut me so great that I every time « digging it », and coming back without fear to look like a poodle.Thank you Mary for your genuine effort! :)

Mystic is great overall but huge shout out to Mary specifically. Ive been in her chair for close to 6 months now and she is the best stylist Ive ever had. Her edging, fades, razoring and layering are fantastic.

Kate did a great job cutting my hair and giving a comfortable experience for my first time here. A good change if pace from the modern and minimalist places with a genuine feel to the shop. Shop is owned by a long time local.

Great place for a great cut, I feel like a jerk, I cant remember my NEW barbers names I was so excited about my perfect good looking haircut. All attention was in the mirror lol. I called last minute he did a great job of fitting me in! I will continue to return to Mystic haircutting for all my cuts if theyll have me....!!!

I’ve been coming to Mystic Barber for the last couple of years. I’ve always had a great experience and a solid cut from Mary Davis. Her attention to detail, friendly personality, and professionalism is what keeps me coming back. 10 out of 10 would recommend her to all my friends. She is also great with female hair as well. My girlfriend also sees her.

So Ive lived in the city for 4 years now and have jumped around from barber shop to barber shop because while the haircuts were fine they just werent quite right. Then I found Mystic Haircutting, Dave Hadley is amazing! Not only do I get a great haircut here every time they make you feel very safe given the whole global pandemic. Everyone is wearing masks, they keep the front and back door open to allow great air flow and everything is disinfected after each client. If youre looking for a great haircut I cant recommend Mystic Haircutting enough!

Ive been coming here for almost 10 years. In that Ive had regular haircuts from multiple barbers, mostly because I am so last-minute, and every person Ive dealt with here has been cool, welcoming, and given me a GREAT haircut. I have had regular cuts with Dave, Kate, and Ronnie, and they are all phenomenal (Im also totally certain this applies to everyone!). I turned into a shaggy mop during quarantine and was stoked to see they reopened. With the doors open, fans circulating air, and everyone masked up, it really did feel safe and I cant say how grateful I am theyre there! Always a great experience going there and I always end up feeling like I look great.

Ive been going to Mystic for 25+ years. The studio is great and in this Covid environment, very clean and safe. I highly recommend Mystic to anyone looking for a great haircut.

Cant exactly put into words how great Mystic Haircutting is and how excellent of a human being and barber Dave Hadley is. If you want a perfect haircut and a chance at a great conversation theres nowhere better to go. I moved out of SF but still commute from the East Bay to stick with Dave and Mystic.

One of the best haircuts in the city. No matter how many other barbers I try, I just keep coming back to Mystic. Everyone is great, but I especially love Mike. The atmosphere is laid back and social. Theyre always are on time and send you off looking fresh and dapper. Also, the price is right, but its cash only.

I came in looking for a whole new hair style and Enrique took care of me no problem. He paid great attention to detail while also being very personable and outgoing. Consistently asked me what I wanted throughout the haircut and really valued my business as a customer. Very happy with my new hair style!

Mike was very laid back, conversational, and knows his business. They fit me in once I described the basic cut I needed and charged a reasonable price. And they had a great magazine collection that is heavy on the music scene.

Mystic Hair-cutting uses an web-based appointment system. I had taken a 5 pm appointment but on arrival was told that I was double booked (and hence could not use my slot) due to a system error which they were experiencing all day.If they had cared about customer service, they should have let customers who were double booked, especially the ones late in the day like me, know so as to avoid an unnecessary trip.

Jay has been cutting hair for a long time and it shows; he cuts both my hair and my (African-American) partners, and does it very well. Everybody there is warm and friendly and they charge a fair price too. The artwork on the walls and the haircutters is world-class; probably more and better art than at the Museum. It helps to be able to set an appointment a few days in advance, as theyre always busy.

Great small barber shop giving good quality haircuts for $40: above cheap hit-or-miss shops and chains but below expensive boutique places. Just the right niche, which is almost empty in San Francisco. Recommend.

Ive been going here for 4 years. What a great place. My barber is J. David Hadley. I always looks better after haircut from Dave. Hes warm, caring, and attentive. I love his demeanor and his hate for Yelp.

Awesome laid back vibe. Super friendly, but had its own unique atmosphere, my barber (Scott) is always on point, great dude and great haircuts.

Google said it was open. I walked for 30 min to the shop and then back again in bad weather for nothing.

I love Sarah. I always go back to her to get my haircut. We have a great client relationship now where I dont need to tell her how I want my hair done. I think thats what you need in these types of business. You just need someone who knows you well and always gets it right! you are the best SARAH! Whoop whoop!!

The barber I worked with just left this shop- Tried this place once or twice only to find myself displeased with their general lack of customer service and professionalism when interacting with clients. Management in general is lacking in a big way. Do not expect high customer service standards here- rather a very expensive $40.00 for a very basic - standard haircut while being rushed out of the chair before your hair is complete. I wouldn’t mind paying double if it meant I get my hair right—They also forgot to do my beard even after asking twice and booking it in my appt. Perhaps overbooking is an issue here. My stylist seemed disconnected from what I was saying - quite rough also — they are too rushed to provide the type of service expected. This place was a huge fail for me. 0 stars.

Ive been getting my hair cut by J David for over 20 years. This is a no fuss place with very skilled barbers -- J David in particular.

Sarah is beyond amazing! She is welcoming and professional. I commute into the city just for her.

Nicest guys who are a pleasure to talk to, and my cuts with David and Scott are always great. I used to go to Cinta Salon and spend $80 per cut by a master stylist, this is equally as good and less than half the price.

Awful experience. Showed up an hour before declared closing time. No line. They said there is no one to take care of me. Got an appointment, they called back to cancel, offered a reschedule a week after desired date.
