The people of the Womens Building do amazing work, as documented on their website. As a visitor in San Francisco, I have only seen the outside of the building, which is amazing also. Located in the Mission District with many buildings and surfaces covered with great street art, the Womens Building is among the highlights. The scope of the artwork is impressive and moving, celebrating life and spirituality of women.

Access to so many different resources and up to date flyers. My family came here to do their taxes for free and received assistance from well-trained staff who also provides translators if needed. The place was beautifully painted and theres a very friendly attitude all around. Everyone seem friendly and ready to provide assistance. There was free snacks available in the waiting room.Could benefit from a little deep cleaning.

I think its so wonderful to see places like these, especially when theyre put to such good use. They really try to look out for the community (and women in general). The murals are dope too, especially the one on the eastern side of the building. So rad.

Dont know what I would do without this community space! I love attending events here and its a big part of my life in San Francisco. Beautiful murals painted on the building. Supports all kinds of local interest groups and their events. Film series, advocacy, etc. etc. I only know about a small portion of all the great stuff that goes on here. Stray observation - this place seems to be a tour stop for walking tours through the Mission.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! Disgraceful. They are so unprofessional. Nobody responds to phone messages, nobody is ever in their office to take calls. If they dont like or agree with your political views they will just cancel your event on the same day. They are totally against free speech. I cant say enough about just how unprofessional the women who own and operate this establishment are. They are all proud of it being the Only women owned and operated community center in the country and then they are so completely unqualified to even run it that its a disgrace to all women. STAY AWAY!

There are so many programs for women. Free yoga and many many more events. Theres a calendar online and in the Lobby. Obviously the beautiful murals outside of the building are an amazing sight as well. The inside is in amazing shape. I Highly recommend going to see for yourself.

This place canceled an event for The Walkaway Campaign with just a few hours notice. The Walkaway Campaign is a group dedicated to having dialogue with Democrats, urging them to leave their party because it has become far Left and extreme. Because The Walkaway Campaign does not fit the narrative of the Far Left Feminist agenda, the women’s building canceled their event the day of the event! They clearly think it’s ok to discriminate based on political party. I never been there, but I would not support this organization.

After flying to SF to attend an event that was scheduled months ago. This event space cancelled the event just hours beforehand. I was extremely disappointed that they did not honor their commitment and turned away hundreds of LGBT, woman and kids. They should really be ashamed of themselves. Other than that, the murals were really cool.

They offer all kinds of other stuff too, legal advice, information on shelters and stuff, they have a bunch of different classes... Great community and everyone is accepted!!

The murals have evolved dynamically over time. My recent visit to sf found me parked right out front. I had noticed folks milling about but went on with my indented activities. Returning to the car, I was stopped in my tracks and brought to tears.I stood at every safe angle possible (including the middle of the street and even getting down and lying on the sidewalk) to take in the powerful energy this building and its art. We live in a world where this building its easier to protect and empower than three women and girls of of its namesake. These are difficult times throughout our country and for impoverished and abused women world wide we are a beacon of hope and possibly currently unimaginably tarnished. We must to everything we can to honor and uplift the flow of out great great grandmothers. Blessings. #ruralqueer
