I decided to try this nail salon location since I’ve had good service from other locations in SD. I am very disappointed with my nails. The lady cut up my cuticles while trying to sand down the dip powder she put on. She was incredibly rough with my nails. My powder is lumpy and she didn’t even try to cover the whole nail with it or the gel top coat. You can see raw powder in certain spots where she didn’t apply gel. My nails are crooked and the edges are uneven and lumpy because she never went through and filed them correctly after applying the powder. I would of asked them to fix them but they sped through the service so fast they were already with another customer by the time I even could pay. I also am sure even if I let them try to fix it they’d just screw it up more. Never going to this salon again.

Been here a few times and always great service. Got the nail dip this time and it didnt disappoint

I got a walk-in at Happy Nails for a pedicure because my friend and I were in the mood for getting a good rubdown on our feet, and it’s nice to get the extra attention. The nails on my great toes tend to split down to the nail bed on the outer edges, and Jennifer managed to take care of that problem without causing me any pain.

The staff was very friendly and Tracy did a great job! I’ll definitely be going back!

Ahhh i absolutely love the full set of acrylic nails i got done here!!!! Lee was amazing, she was so sweet and so precise while doing my set, i DEFINITELY recommend her for a super clean set!! And im 100% coming back to her for a fill soon :)

Scheduling was easy! Customer service was superb! They made sure we were well taken care of even while we were waiting. This place is busy for a reason! I believe they had 15 ladies the day I came in. I loved that they offer complimentary drinks and snacks while I was getting pampered. I also didnt feel pressured to buy their products, it was just an overall relaxing experience. Nails were done just as I asked. I highly recommend it and definitely would love to come back soon!

Terrible!Wish could give this place zero star if it’s possible.I don’t understand how this place got so many good reviews. Maybe I had a clumsy technician that day?! I had a pedicure and the technician talked to the next person whole time and didn’t really pay attention what she was doing. When I came home, literally she didn’t do anything but putting color I wanted and she trimmed the toe nail with clipper after polish???? I could do much better than this. Definitely it’s not worth $27 and even pricier than the other places.Please be aware!!!!!!

Julie is awesome and you can text her for an appointment. I show her examples of what I want on my phone and she makes it happen.

This is the 2nd time Ive been here. I love this place! Everyone is so friendly, the shop itself is modern and very clean. Huge selection of nail colors. I want to thank you for my wonderful ombre nails and pedicure. Their prices are very competitive. I always felt they took their time with me and the work shows because my nails have lasted for weeks. I’ve found me a new nail salon. Cant wait to come back again on my next visit to SD!

I have never seen such attention to detail when doing nails before. I always went to the nail salon near my house but felt things werent quite good as Happy Nails Spa as the first couple times I went. I came here based on the reviews and Im so glad I did! it can be pretty pricey but its sooooo worth it!!!

This place is great! I came in here at 5:55pm on a Saturday and immediately got taken care of. I got a pedicure and the lady did an awesome job. She was very thorough and took her time with the massage.I also got waxed and Queen did an amazing job. She was very friendly and gentle with my face. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Service was just amazing!! Had a special event coming up and they made sure my nails looked their finest. They were very thorough and sought to make my nails like how I wanted, maybe better! Not to mention, it was very relaxing.

I heard from one of my friends who does her acrylics often to try out this place. Im happy to say she didnt disappoint me. The workers here are friendly and very precise in my nails. Customer service was awesome. It was nice to see workers give customers water bottles to meet their needs.

They did an excelent job with calous removal during my pedicure. Im always on my feet and most nail salons seem to skimp on the calous treatment, but my feet were so smooth after going here. I cannot recommend them enough!

Sometimes the wait may be long, so sign your name and go run some errands! Nancy does eyebrow threading and it was amazing. Made sure my eyebrows were full and thick. She took the time to explain my brows and what shape I wanted them. Its really hard to find the perfect eyebrow lady and she is the one! Also got a polish change here, amazing work ladies.

It was my hands this time that were callused. I was playing guitar and I have received a lot of them over the months. They started to ache so I want to this nail salon. The service was great and the massage was fantastic. I would definitely come back again.

Used to be my go to spot to get an eyebrow wax. Today (Monday early afternoon) my wax was rushed. Didn’t even brush/trim my brows. Spent $12 then noticed once I looked at them with real lighting in my car, that I wasted my money. I still have lingering hairs that should have been picked up not only by the wax, but after her rushed tweezing after. I’m sad I need to find a new go to spot, but I’m even more sad that I wasted my money. That was a horrible experience, especially for being in scripps. I was unnecessarily rushed.

Went in on NEW YEARS EVE to get a polish change. I explained to the person that I had to walk home (1.5) miles and I would sit and wait longer to ensure that they were dry and not smear. I waited at LEAST a hour in the chair, she motioned that I could go. I asked her 2 times are you sure its ok. She promised that 8 was fine. Walked home, took off shoes and this is what I saw. Technician had painted my toes WAY too.thick....in fact a 3 year old couldve painted my toes better!

The first time I went here was with a friend and had a great time. Staff didnt rush my nails and made sure they didnt miss anything. The ambiance here is perfectly clean. Ill definitely go back and will recommend this place to my friends.

I have tried them three times and this was the worse so far, very rushed and sloppy job and it was not busy at all...Then on top of it they hurried me out the door and when there was only a couple other clients in the building.. Also they charged me a different price for the same service that i had before..Very disappointed

I had the most professional mani/pedi today from Holly and Nancy! Both gave me the type of attention and detail you expect at a 5🌟 Spa. Each step of my spa mani/pedi was delivered with professional warmth and kindness at every single phase, the transitional detail was smooth and impeccable. Both Holly and Nancy have skilled hands doing massage with just the right touch and pressure, completing each stroke and finish with a fluidity only delivered by the best! This is so very, very rare these days. My nails, hands, feet and cuticles look and feel wonderful.

Love this shop! Great work every time on my nails. They last very long. My mother is 80 and she still enjoys getting pamperer by these ladies ! They are some sweet gals here

Short story: on the expensive side, clean, employees dont bother talking to you (good/bad for different people) good pedicureLong story: Pretty good place. It was very clean. They had a disposable blue wrap around the foot tub and the nail tools came out of a sealed medical sterile bag. The massage chairs were very clean and felt AMAZING; better than any one Ive ever been in. The service was not the best though. All the employees were loudly conversing in a different language the entire time I was there and I barely heard them communicate with the customers, and the customers never communicated to eachother presumably because all the employees were too busy talking. The pedicure I got turned out looking great but was a little bit painful.

I was so excited when I stumbled in here after the gym! The young lady, who did my manicure, was very gentle and courteous. Its a clean shop with soothing colors and friendly atmosphere. I feel so relaxed after my mani/pedi here.

Terrible serviceI’m a young mixed race woman mother white and black fatherI went after work and was still in my uniformI waited at the door a really long time, spoke up and said excuse me and was completely ignored for the other people who whiteI’m from San Diego and have never been treated like this before. I’m very disappointed.I hope things get better there but me not my friends will ever go again.

I’m so mad I just went today and I asked to get my nails a certain way they look nothing like the picture!! The lady was also so rude and I asked her to do a different color cause the color she picked looked bad. I normally go there and I love it but this tkme not so much!!

I love the fantastic detail they put into their work.

I use laura. She is awesome. I get my nails done every two weeks and she puts flowers on them. When I go places people comment on them. Also I get facials and waxing here too.

My manicure is peeling only a week after I get them done. The technician mentioned it would last 3 or 4 weeks. The polish on my toes is already wearing down. My manicure was pretty sloppy and the edges on several of my nails was uneven even after I asked my technician to fix them.

Horrible service and their nail polish is old. Got a manicure (gel) that usually last at least 2 to 3 weeks for me and it stared peeling a day later. Way overpriced. So many other options out there. Don’t waste your time.

Got a shellac manicure, after day 3 a nail has chipped, after day 7 I had 4 chipped nails. I won’t be back the next time I visit. Place was clean and people were friendly enough

Horrible I asked for a coffin tip and the nails were freakish it seems that I bring some mountains were full of balls, when I told Jennifer to compose them a bit she got angry and said that they were perfect and she did a horrible job and she still got angry because I told her that They were not pretty, pay 48 dollars for some really ugly nails and no figure
