Definitely a great studio, I’ll be back! Nice, clean, comfortable, functional space. Richard was super helpful and easy to book and work with. The overall experience was much better than my other studio rental set-ups. Fair pricing too!

Where do I start!!!! As a content creator, this studio surpassed all my expectations!!! Staff is the best I’ve worked with, props ( stools, chairs etc….) amazing. Super clean, changing rooms and bathrooms!!! Everyone here is so helpful and accommodating. I’m coming back here at least once a week ( that’s saying something) highly recommend!!!

Richard Tiland and dk3studios is the best place in San Diego to get professional photos and video work done! The service is superb, the product exceptional, and the staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. I have had videos and photos done with their team and have been extremely happy with all results.

Working with dk3 studios was a fantastic experience! They handled everything so professionally, had excellent backdrops, cameras and lightning. I shot a music video here and am sooooo happy with the professional results I got! I will be coming back for not only more shoots for subsequent music videos, but will also be booking them for my artist photographs as well:)

We enjoyed working with Richard and Anuj at DK3 Studios. They allowed us in early to unload our equipment and props, and made sure everything was properly working after a slight hiccup with the equipment rental. Amazing studio space in the heart of San Diego off the 15 freeway in Mira Mesa/Sorrento Valley area.They have everything you need to create great photos. Strobe lights, RGB LED tube lights, cyc wall, different color backdrops, furniture props, etc.They also have cold AC, which is key for summer time shoots!Very professional and clean environment, and the main studio floor is very spacious. I could easily shoot with an 85mm or 70-200mm lens for a compressed background look.The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive, their customer service is A+.I will definitely be back again, and I highly recommend this studio.

My schools Fashion Club had a photo/video shoot here recently. The studio is under new management by Richard Tiland and its very easy to communicate with the studio now. The website is completely renovated and booking online is very simple, step-by-step organized process. On the day of the shoot, Richard was very helpful and polite. The studio space is big and provides a lot of equipment for use! I would highly recommend this studio to anyone!

Was referred to DK3 by a friend. We had to do a client video shoot where we needed to drive the car inyo the studio. I booked a shoot with a Porsche and drove it into the ACTUAL studio which not many rental places can accomplish. It was for a photo and video session & the results are spectacular. The quality of this studio for the price is crazy good. Highly recommended!

I dont know if this is the best way to communicate with you. Ive been trying to contact your company to make a reservation and the phone its an automated recording that directs you to make a reservation online. I singed up online and the website gives me error when trying to sign in. There is a number to contact Dave and its send me to voicemail overtime and besides that it says voicemail its full.Website its not welcome friendly and Ive been trying for two days to communicate with you and it seems theres no easiest way to contact you by to stoping by to make a reservation.We sill in the need of a photo studio and yours has the best prices around the area but that its cheap doesnt mean the service has to be cheap also.

DK3 Studios is a professional environment with high-equality equipment. Having the option of two different studio sizes really helped the production quality.

Great for stills, good for video. DK3 is now under new management and having rented the studio from both owners, let me start by saying while Dave was a fantastic guy, Richard is really driven to put DK3 on the map. Sure, during the transition there was a loss of communication, but now that the doors are back open, the studio looks better than ever. Completely cleaned out and freshened up, the new DK3 is a joy to shoot in, and just as friendly and flexible as theyve always been. The rates may have gone up a touch, but for what you get, its still one of the best prices in all of San Diego. My only complaint is its proximity to Miramar Naval Air Station, which can cause problems if youre recording audio during the day. Looking forward to many more shoots at DK3 Studios!

DO NOT BOTHER.. The website doesnt allow one to book and when you call to speak with someone (Dave King) he said hello and hung up. Called back and he said that they arent open and arent closed, just isnt accepting anyone for business at the moment or for a few months. That should be on the website or something, but hopefully this saves you some time and hassle.
