Professional, expert service at a competitive rate. As a new homeowner, I was so pleased to find Davey Tree! I had heard about the invasive bark beetle and was worried about my pines. On the first visit a professional arborist inspected my entire property and put my mind to rest. Michael Lockwood took his time to answer all my questions; was very pragmatic, and didnt try to sell anything. We agreed on a regular schedule of service and I am very pleased. Forget about all those other spray jockeys!

Don’t!Before generating a quote, Davey tree’s representative visited our house, giving both him an opportunity to see what we need and assess his ability to address those issues. He never told us,, at any point, that the Plant Health Care, Scale Treatment, and Fruit Insecticide Treatment, etc (totaling $895)) will not solve our problems. A few weeks after the treatment, we contacted the company, letting them know that some of the issues were not resolved. When the representative came again, he told us that some of the treatments might take up to 3 months to work, and that regardless, we need to do some homework ourselves (that is, weekly treatment with various pesticides, depending on the plant and problem). He agreed to send a tech to treat one of the plants again, which didn’t help at all!almost two months since the second treatment isn’t a health plant (though it’s looking slightly less iIn short, we are parted with a substantial amount of money, without receiving reasonable value in exchange.We s called the manager/owner who came out once, promising to touch base a month later (January 2021) and come trea the plants as necessary. Six months later, and not a word.I don’t know if this is a scam, merely poor management or both. What I do know, is that we we didn’t receive any value for our money.

We have had Davey Tree Experts trim our many 50 year old pines several times now. The arborist is knowledgeable, and the crews are prompt and pay close attention to healthy trimming and, perhaps more importantly, to safety. Clean-up has always been meticulous and prices fair. Highly recommended.

We use Davey Tree because they know trees. They know how to trim them properly and give them the nutrients they need when there is a problem.Two of my old peppers were going through severe shock because there was major construction happening on our property. They saved them and brought them back to health.They are helping our newly planted trees adjust. I highly recommend them.

Davey Tree Company has done it again. They Trimmed my jacaranda and magnolia tree. They make it so easy. I have had davey come and trim my trees for six years now. The trees look great and healthy. The davey crew is always on time and the price is fair.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. The worker sent to my home was giving me red flags from the moment he came. He decided it would be nice to look at me through my backyard window while completely looking aimlessly at his chainsaw like he never held one before. He also told me I looked great in my bathrobe which made me feel extra uncomfortable and asked if he can come in for some hot coffee. I don’t even drink coffee, I don’t know why he wouldThink it’s okay for him to do that in the middle of a pandemic as well. He also took his face mask off multiple times to look at his phone. I should have listened to the red flags but I guess that’s what i get for thinking they had good prices. Avoid at all costs!!

Kaitlin was great and provided wonderful customer support in establishing all the appointments and scheduling the work. Daniel came out to provide us with an cost estimate. He was very professional and provided excellent service. Especially during these trying times. I was extremely impressed by the crew. Lupe and Joe did a fabulous job. They were very punctual and provided professional workmanship. I would recommend this team to my family and friends. Kudos to the team!

I came home to my beautiful tree looks like it is a bonsai tree with little foliage left. They need to learn how to trim a tree. My backyard now has no shade and my tree looks pathetic.

These guys are a bunch of unruly belligerent hacks. They are too big to be put out of business, but personally, I think we would be better off if they were gone. Use them at your own risk.

When they get three tree cutting trucks with trailers side by side going half the speed limit during rush hour. All the traffic makes sense. Why dont these trucks use the slow lane?

Unauthorized and slovenly tree work has left a tree disfigured today without so much as a single contact regarding Davey’a desire or authorization to do the work. Completely unsatisfactory. Do not allow them to touch your trees!

I have been using Davey Tree for the last 8 years. Arborist Daniel Kump and his team have always been professional, expert, responsive and prompt. I have used them for pruning, fertilizing, and treatments for a variety of diseases and insects - aphids, scale, fungus, white fly, thrips, etc. The outcome has always been good. The service is not inexpensive, but you pay for quality care. I can recommend this team without hesitation.

Sent a knowledgeable arborist for a consultation. Recommendations were reasonably priced and in order of importance. Considerations for specific trees species that others failed to mention, saving time, money and possibly my trees. Crew was fast, clean and courteous to our property and our neighbors property. Will definitely hire them again when time comes.

The guys were on time worked through the day and listened to our concerns and made corrections accordingly. Overall a very pleasant experience. We are very pleased with the results.

I am updating my review--Davey Tree called yesterday, concerned about my initial review. They arranged to come the next morning. The two arborists were very professional and friendly, and the tree looks great--thinned out and well-shaped! Im glad that they fixed this situation and that it turned out well!

This company has reasonable prices for their services and does good work. Davey is definitely my go to company for tree work!

We have had Davey out two years in a row... Both times our trees look like they have been butchered by a rookie w/ a chainsaw. Lesson learned...no more unfinished work and surely employees. Yikes!Ill post some entertaining pics of Daveys work on yelp.

Dog died due to Davey. Davey workers entered are yard today, without consent, through three gates. Even pulled a picker truck onto our property ruining grass. They broke our fence in a few places and our padlock was broken off. As a result our precious dog got out and was hit by a car. How dare they be so reckless and damage our personal property. We are heartbroken.
