I wanted to have a surveillance cam installed at me driveway gate, about 1000 from my house, and three others around my house so I gave Halcyon a call. Tom came out within a couple of days and spent some time with me on possible solutions due to the remoteness of my gate. I received the quote for the equipment and installation that evening and then after a few back and forths I agreed and got on the schedule for the next opening. On the scheduled day Marcos and his assistant showed up promptly at the scheduled time and got right to work, after two days the install was complete in a very professional way, all the cables were invisible and the cams were installed with great care in the predetermined locations. They are a major player in San Diego for CCTV.Halcyon was very professional. They surveyed the property and recommended a solution. The cameras were installed within a week for a reasonable cost. Technical support has been great. Everything is working. The app is easy to use and, with Halcyons help, I was able to get the cameras working on a personal computer (using the IE browser).There are no subscription fees for the Halcyon cameras. My only ongoing costs are for electricity and broadband Internet.Within two weeks of installation, I was able to have my first illegal dumper prosecuted. At the present time, I am monitoring my late-night laundry room visitor.

I’m very good at do it yourself projects and certainly could install one of the box store CCTV product, and have considered installing one for quite some time. What held me up was not having the knowledge of the cameras the equipment, their day and night performance and reliability. I did not want to spend $800 and end up product that didn’t perform to my expectations. We found ourselves in a situation where we needed cameras installed ASAP before we left on an extended vacation. I called Tom on Saturday morning, he went out of his way and met with us at noon, explained the pros and cons of the systems available, he has top level knowledge of the systems. Tom sent us a quote that afternoon and he and his technician went out of their way and installed the entire system Sunday morning. He’s on time, responsive via e-mail, text and phone. On Monday I had a few operator technical questions; Tom and I interacted through text messages and resolved in short order.
