Mario A was excellent! A Prime example of great and thorough service! We use Dewey bi weekly in our community and its always a pleasure interacting with Mario. Hes professional and great at what he does, a great asset to your team for sure! Awesome customer service! On Friday, Sept 4th I called Dewey Pest Control. The call was returned by Karl Furman. I explained that my 89-year old Mother who lives at the Vi at 8515 Coast Verde Bvld may have a flea or a mite infestation that we were attempting to handle ourselves. He advised me of the level of service that Dewey could provide and that he would be happy to deal with this issue as quickly as possible. I explained that we were going to try to deal with this ourselves due to concerns surrounding Covid protocol at the Vi and possible restrictions of access to her apartment. Karl took the time to follow up with me over the weekend and said if this were his Mother, I would expect the same. He accepted pictures of the infestation on Labor Day even though the office was closed. Immediately Tuesday morning, Sept 8th, he forwarded pictures and information to Luis at Dewey and assisted in having my Mother’s apartment fumigated that same day. The service that both Karl and Luis provided was remarkable and thoughtful. We wanted to let you know our appreciation for having employee’s care at the level they demonstrated. Thank you!

My problem is with their billing department I tried to cancel their service because it was not effective and I had white flies and ants after they had been here I cancelled their service effective July 30th on June 9th and then they tell me I had to do it in writing thirty days in advance in AugustThey charge for services two and three months at a time- I don’t like them and I would never refer them to anyone

We have quarterly spraying done and recently fumigated our house in the Mission Beach area. The fumigation was hard to prep for but Joe Greco at Dewey was great to deal with and help us they the entire process. The fumigation guys did a great job putting everything back together once it was done.I recently have had issues with mice. I called Dewey and Vince was sent out to further investigate. He was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and made me feel at ease while looking around my house for Signs of mice. He set some traps and has followed up with me weekly to try and get rid of my problem. He always responds to me right away if I text or call him. I felt compelled to leave this review due to the fact I was provided with excellent service by Dewey Pest Control, particularly by the representative Vince who was assigned to come to my house. I had a previous visit by a Rep from their competition Terminix and was very disappointed, as not only they did nothing about the problem I was having with mice, rats actually to be more precise. They didn’t do anything solve the obvious - set some traps to kill the rodent living at the house .. argh! I was presented with and overpriced estimate and no plan of action at all.Luckily my Property Management Company suggested Dewey and I could not have asked for a better experience. Vince was timely and very professional. Immediately set up some traps and surely 2 more rodents were caught in the places he strategically placed. Preventing them hiding and living at the house.Highly recommend their services and kudos to Vince for his diligence, dedication and customer service. Thank you!!

I just cant say enough good things about Jeff the Dewey representative that came out. He was knowledgeable, fair, and much to my surprise honest! My wife and I know next to nothing about bugs, but Jeff took the time to fully explain everything to us and while I am certain that he could have recommended many higher priced services that they offer, he said our situation wasnt as serious as I initially thought and quot4ed us a very fair price for the work. Highly recommend!

Very impressed at how quickly and effectively they got ride of the squirrels in my attic. I tried myself for months with traps, bait, etc before I called. They came quickly, were friendly with a positive attitude and stayed with it until all the squirrels were gone within a couple days. They also patched up the holes that the squirrels made. I would highly recommend them and would use them again if needed.

I was using another pest control service (eagle shield) because we get lots of brown spiders in our backyard. I was very happy with them but someone came knocking on my door offering a $1 first service and $85/ 3 months after that. I decided to go with it because it would be $10 less than our current service. I had to sign a year contract which was fine because we need it year round. The person came for the first service and didnt even spend 10 minutes spraying my backyard and de webbing!!! I wasnt home at the time, and my husband couldnt go out to inspect because we have to small children. When I inspected later that day, there were still webs everywhere! I called to complain and cancel and they convinced me to let them rectify it and send the tech out again. This time he walked around the house with my husband so he could let him know exactly what we wanted. We would literally see new webs 2 days after the service. We also have a play house in the back yard that I had to ensure safety before my kids could enter. I found two HUGE brown recluses and eggs inside a week after their service! I called to cancel and it was a very long process as they kept putting me on hold and made me speak to a manager. I would not recommend them. After $233 of cancellation fees Im finally cut free of them! Eagle Shield spends more time and gives you more bang for your buck. They ensure my kids play house and bikes are web and spider free. I would not recommend Dewey to anyone. Awful experience and a waste of money

I would definitely recommend Dewey Pest control. This is the company that my job uses and the tech that comes out every week Marcos Miranda is always professional, has a good attitude and if we have questions hes always happy to answer them.

Had a rat in the attic and Mark came out and found the entry points. Sealed them up and set traps and caught the rat. A+ work from Mark . Highly recommend Dewey and Mark.

Thanks Dewey for solving our moth problem. We were inundated with moths in our kitchen. Vincent came out and inspected a handful of things in the pantry, and identified them as Indian Meal Moths. I just saw Elias the Dewey technician on Abbott & Voltaire in OB. He sprayed all over the front of a building at the corner 1 block from Dog Beach. Usually my dog walks on that grass, but I picked him up only because I saw the truck. I asked Elias if they post signage stating the date & time they sprayed. He pointed upstairs inside the complex. I let him know that this is a heavily traveled area with pets & its toxic poison that they can potentially walk in, even graze & eat. We need to be warned. His answer was Im doing my job. this guy & company OBVIOUSLY dont give a care about the safety of our pets. Completely Irresponsible. a small flag on the grass with the date and time would remedy this or a post on the side of a building that we can SEE.

Ive had a consistent roach problem for months,even after our regular company treated the interior of my condo. My apartment complex contracts with Dewey. After making a complaint Dewey came out on Monday while I wasnt home and put down a poison bait gel. They left me a door hanger saying they did this and to keep animals away from it. They did this even though there was a cat walking around the apartment, I was not home to restrain it, and they didnt note where they left the poison on the door hanger they left me. I called the company to find out where it was and they didnt call me back. The following day I called to submit a complaint and every aspect of my complaint was met with an argument from their main office receptionist. She eventually acknowledged that they should not have treated with the pet there.

Dewey pest control is one of the best companies out there specially the technician marco. Really professional and always arrives on time.

Terrible experience by far the worst customer service Ive ever dealt with. My aunt and uncle signed a year contract with them for $90 every 3 months they had an employee come to the house for an estimate and everything seemed to be set until Marco Miranda showed up to fumigate and tried to scam my aunt with $175 and then later came back to say that the minimum charge was $220. Marco is a sham he thought that he would be able to get away with his scam but didnt succeed and went back empty handed to feed the MOD with his own tale and as if this wasnt enough the MOD had the audacity to call my aunt a liar about what his employee had told her and my grandma. My advice would be to get rid of people who do not know anything about customer service and who arent an asset for the company.

My tech franklin services my property in Poway and does a great job, never had any issues with controlling any insects and yes we both have the same name we had a good laugh about it.

Had a one-year contract on an apartment complex to get rid of serious problem with ants. Started with a September 2012 spraying. Sent them a letter canceling the automatic renewal in August. Just received a bill for September. When I called they said they had not received letter. I also sent a copy of letter to Pasadena billing office. The San Diego De Soto office says if the Pasadena office had received they would have forwarded. They will do all sort of tricks to keep you from canceling. Terrible company!

If I could post zero stars, I would.Worst possible company you could ever deal with on the entire planet.They charge you for spraying the front and back yard, even though they may only spray the front.Then when you go to cancel because they dont do what they say, they refuse to cancel you, and continue to harass you by telephone to set up the next appointment for months on end. After 10+ phone calls to us, requesting to set up the next appointment and my wife reminding them that we cancelled, the guy on the other end of the phone says oh yeah, I think I remember that this is supposed to be cancelled.....and then they showed up anyway a week later when we werent home and supposedly sprayed the front yard (without our permission)!Its been 3 months since we first cancelled with them, and theyre still calling and showing up.Dont sign up with Dewey - youll never be able to get rid of them.

DO NOT USE DEWEY PEST CONTROL. They will quote you one price and them try and charge you double the price once they show up to complete the job. I have heard the same thing from several other tenants of mine who called them. These people are shady, STAY AWAY!

A business who doesnt care about their building being tagged could care less about your home. there are many other options...
