Claire and everyone at the Sunset Temple were instrumental in making our wedding spectacular. First of all the venue itself is gorgeous with its stage, balcony, and vintage vibes. It is truly a hidden gem in North Park. The venue itself has so much character to start with and Claire generously added additional table decorations to make things fit together beautifully. We had the ceremony and the reception in the same space so the balcony was the perfect place for the cocktail hour. From up there the guests could mingle while Claire’s amazing staff worked to seamlessly transition the main floor and set all the tables and decorate everything. Everything was done and set up well within the hour for over 120 people. During the dancing portion of the wedding was where Claire really went way above and beyond. We had bought all the alcohol for the reception and we had run out of Southern Comfort near the beginning of the night! Claire went to the store in the middle of the party and got us two more bottles to keep the party going! No one asked her to do this she just seamlessly made our night perfect. She was always there with suggestions for how to make the party more awesome, including a late night snack of nachos. Me and my husband highly recommend the Sunset Temple and working with Claire on your special day, she and her team were so friendly, easy to work with, supportive, generous, and efficient. They obviously love the space and you can tell that it is her passion to help people create fabulous parties.

Nice place for a concert. We was able to find close parking which was free because we attended the concert. The band was awesome! Thanks to the sound guy. The sound mix perfect!

It was a nice place inside where the tables & bar were placed. The bathroom could use an upgrade/ renovation. Overall, it was good. 👍

This amazing event space is a hidden gem in the heart of North Park, San Diego. You would never know it existed, but when you find out you are blown away by what is inside. A stage brought from the Old Globe, two bars, an upstairs VIP loft, plenty of room for a dance floor and more. Ive hosted several events here and Claire is amazing! If youre looking for a reasonable price on event spaces or banquet hall in San Diego, this is definitely your spot.

A very cozy establishment. Like a small theater. It was great I loved the ambiance. Great staff the only thing that prevented me from giving it five stars was the lack of parking.

I work with The Sunset Temple as their resident opera singer and I have to say that I feel quite fortunate to hold this particular title.I can count on a level of professionalism from the Sunset Temple staff, not only for my interactions with them coordinating concerts, but also for my audience.The Temple always looks gorgeous when I show up to perform, the chairs set exactly as we discussed, etc... allowing me to relax and focus on the performance at hand.To date I have performed at the Sunset Temple 4 times and plan to continue doing so, thanks to the wonderful working relationship weve developed. They love to support the arts (ALL kinds) and I am excited to be a part of their community.

Cute venue. Saw a show here benefiting the LLAC. Plenty of space. There was even a little bar area. Id recommend it for all types of small to medium gatherings.

Ive been to shows there by the Comedy Ticket. Easy to find and parking at nearby garage. Comfortable with seating.

Went for a Memorial for a friend whod passed away. We had approximately 200 people in attendance. Plenty of room. Easy to find. Parking is problematic.

This venue is absolutely amazing and my wedding was absolutely perfect. It was beautiful, elegant, romantic, unique to us, and was exactly what I envisioned in my head. It was a mens club in the 30s and has so many details that make the space have a great feel. We utilized the stage both for the ceremony and for our 8-piece reception band. The space was made for dancing and the sound system in the space is amazing. I received compliments all night about the venue.THE STAFFI was amazed to find out that the venue rental included a day-of coordinator, and then was even more blown away by our coordinator, Eddie. Eddie made sure that everything went so beautifully and smoothly on our day, but he also was so attentive and involved from the day we met all the way up to our actual day. Todd is the space manager, and he helped create the environment in exactly the specifications I desired and then ran all the tech the evening of including putting on a light show for us to accompany our band. Claire owns the building and she is so personable and wants you to have the most amazing day of your life and does everything she can to be sure it happens.INCLUDEDYou cant beat the price of this venue and everything it includes. The venue rental encompasses tables, chairs, lounge furniture, set up, staff, sound system, linens, china, flatware, and for extra theyll do your catering too. Claire booked our caterer and I received so many compliments on the food. Plus, any changes or adjustments you want to make they will accommodate. They have no vendor restrictions and they also know a bunch of vendors if you dont know who to hire.I just cant speak highly enough about Sunset Temple and I cant thank them enough for making our special day truly miraculous.

Attended a work event here. Jazz Age-style, classy, expansive space. Footlights on the stage, great architecture and layout.

My 50 Birthday was incredible. The staff was very friendly and made the event fun and memorable. Id recomend this venue for any event. Absolutely beautiful

Horrible Venue and bad Service and extremely poor communication. I am very at what they did to the Bridal Expo over the past weekend. How can a Business run this way, and present hidden charges last min and then do business emails on Facebook. FB is a social network not a way to conduct Business to business. Completely unprofessional. For future Wedding planners and business who wish to use them beware of last min hidden charges. They wont even present them to you in timely matter, along with charging terms less then 24 hours before your event.
