Nice hotel. Clean, good amenities. Nice pool. Great, friendly, helpful staff. Bistro is not so great & pretty pricey. Coffee drinks were great, but the microwave egg sandwiches... Well they are microwaved egg sandwiches (not great). Not sure how much breakfast costs to include with your room, but a coffee drink +egg sandwich for 2 people was about $30. Either get it included or stop somewhere else.

This is a reasonably nice hotel. Sorrento Valley is wonderful. Its Breezy and its an amazing area in San Diego that has pretty good access to a lot of great places. Obviously theres a lot of biotech and tons of businesses. So this is a useful hotel. The rooms are nice and I thought the management was on the ball. I do think its strange that is separate buildings, it seemed to me, however, aside from that confusion I thought it was a good hotel. It was clean and neat and quiet.

Stayed in this hotel for three nights in San Diego. Due to covid measures, the room cleaning is not daily unless requested. This could explain the cockroachs I found on my wash basin when I checked in and another small one in the bathtub the next day. Fortunately the rest of the stay was uneventful.

Great hotel. You can tell that cleanliness is a top priority for this hotel. Friendly and helpful customer service at the front desk. Joanne was more than helpful. We got a room with a balcony that over looks the pool and outside common area. Its so relaxing to just sit out there and enjoy the view. Real close to the freeway to get to where you need to. Definitely would stay here again and definitely recommend.

Great location. Close to the freeways so any place we needed to go was around 15 minutes. Rooms were clean and ac worked great. The rooms had a little balcony with two chairs. We were there for 4 nights and asked for the room to be refreshed halfway through. Jacuzzi was clean and hot. Was not over chlorinated. Heated pool was a little chilly but it was in the 60s outside in May Cafe was open with limited hours in the am. My only gripe is that there was no early check in. The staff tried to accommodate but it was based on availability. They did hold our bags while we waited so we could could enjoy the town while we waited. Staff enforced the mask policy (but did so nicely).

Hotel is filthy. I wore a new pair of socks in the room for less than 2 hours and they bottoms are stained and dark grey. There are clumps of hair in the hallway. You have to tell them to schedule a cleaning if you want so much as your trash dumped.Internet is free as long unless you want to actually access anything. If you even need enough bandwidth to check your email you have to pay $4.95 a day for increased speed. If you have connection issues no problem, they have you call tech support, sit on hold, then try to troubleshoot the issue yourself.

Also they have Starbucks here at the hotel. Bit if there serving breakfast do to this COV 19 but over all this place is good on pricing and the rooms are big and with outside seating on the patio. This Marriott hotel in Sorrento Valley provides a decent place for short-stays. Its perfect for the business traveler and people visiting northern San Diego for the weekend. The Courtyard is a nice little hotel in what appears to be a high tech neighborhood. The venue its self is very clean and bright and the front desk staff were very helpful. I picked this hotel because of the location and I am glad I did. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful and from what I saw, worked to make all the guests feel welcomed. The room was fine and the bed was comfortable, like I’ve come to expect from Marriott brand hotels. The only thing missing is that the room needs upgrades to handle all of the electronics that people carry. There were no USB ports in the room—only 2 or 3 standard outlets. Parking was available and overall, I had a brief but enjoyable stay.

I was a recent guest at the Sorrento Valley Courtyard in San Diego, CA and wanted to mention a couple of your Hosts who took great care of my family. I am the proud father of two boys one of which is a 26 year-old son with Autism who is non-verbal. You have 2 Hosts who are doing a Super Job of taking care of their guests.Mary was very kind and thoughtful employee who is doing an outstanding job at mentoring Cicili. They both worked to provide me with the preferred ADA room type at check-in, a gesture that was very much appreciated. On my last day at the Courtyard Cicili remembered my last name while she was working in the Bistro and was an amazing Host with her Guest Service and Hospitality.Being in the Hospitality Industry myself, I can recognize Perfect Hosting when I see it. My stay was a far cry from what I expected. The place is clean and neat and the staff friendly. However, the hotel doesn’t provide individual soap and shampoo containers, instead they have dispensers in the shower. To my chagrin, I found the soap dispenser empty after stepping into the shower. I suggest you bring your own soap and shampoo if you plan on staying here. Also, People should be aware of four additional fees that are added to the room rate. There is a daily parking fee, a city tax, a local bid fee (whatever this is), and a California tourism fee (another tax). These add up to over $30.00 extra per night. The taxes are unavoidable but the parking fee made no sense since it is self parking and plenty of it.

Great place to be if you need to be if you need to be by a business, or a great place to stay away from the main downtown area (also cheaper). Its about a 18 min drive to the main city, and there wasnt much traffic going there and coming back on the weekends. The service was very quick and very friendly as we just needed to confirm reservation and get parking pass (it is $12 for additional cars, but first car is free). The rooms are nice, and the ground floor rooms also have a door leading to the courtyard in the center of the facility. Very clean and very nice.

Great place to stay with a great restaurant across the street although it is a bit hidden and kind of hard to find at first. Be careful of a parking fee of $12 which was added to my bill at the end of my stay but was never informed of before hand. Its kind of a crazy charge because you have no real alternative, you have to park you car somewhere. I guess its the nature of the beast and were stuck with all these miscellaneous fees.

I stayed at this Marriott on a whim trip to San Deigo from LA using a reward night. There were other Marriott locations closer to the main parts of San Diego, but my sister wanted to visit Ballast Point and The Green Flash breweries while in town so this location was perfect. It is across the street from a great Brewery/restaurant and according to our Uber driver there are 20 breweries within 3 miles. We hit a few before turning in for the night, and the next morning made an easy drive to the La Jolla seals and spent a full day in downtown San Diego. This hotel is in a great location for business. I used to work in the area before moving away so now that I travel back to San Diego for business, this is my preferred hotel as its convenient to everything. Starbucks is a short walk away and Karl Strauss is across the street. The rooms are clean and the rooms that face the inner courtyard have patio chairs so you can relax and work on the patio if you please. The beach is a quick drive up the I-805 to the Carmel Valley exit and there is a Robertos near there. The property is in a safe area for walking or jogging. I would recommend to others, especially for business.
