This was such an easy and great experience. I filled out the form and included pictures. I got a rapid response and the quote was reasonably priced. It was so nice to have one price that included everything from pick up and delivery to tax and complete overhaul of our wonderful but aging leather sectional. The finished product looks wonderful and it’s beautiful again. It’s Soft and not in danger of cracking anymore. The color got a bit darker but looks great (he warned me of this fact)!!! The new puppy inadvertently damaged the vinyl door panel on my beloved 1998 Volvo S70, thereby necessitating locating the skills of a detail-oriented and experienced automotive vinyl restorer. I found such a craftsperson in Dave Sanders, who responded to my repair request immediately. He was courteous and professional and arrived to our appointment on time, evaluated the damage and proceeded over the next 2.5 hours to expertly and painstakingly repair the puppy damage, thereby restoring the door panel to its near perfect original condition. I couldnt be happier with the result; I will be contacting Dave again in the near future to do additional cosmetic restoration on my Volvo. Thank you Dave!

Dave was professional and pleasant to work with from the beginning of my experience. On the day of the repair (a tear in the leather seat of our Lexus), he was on-time (and even early). He was flexible and creative with repair options and the repair itself turned out much better than I had expected (we were limited in our options due to our insurance policy and what it covered). He took his time and made sure everything had been done for the best outcome, and even hand mixed paint to airbrush the repair. While he was here, he was flexible, courteous, and pleasant to work with. Overall a 10/10. Would work with Dave again should the need arise.

Dave did an artist type work on a discolored leather sofa. It now looks almost new. I found him to be prompt, professional, and someone who obviously new what he was doing. I would recommend his work to anyone who asks.

I was a little skeptical at first as my seats were severely cracked and “aged”. After examination, Dave said that by using a different process for the really bad cracks that he could make them look almost as good as new. They wouldn’t be perfect, but would be close. I didn’t see any way, but told him to go for it.The results were amazing! The minor cracks and “aging” were gone! The major ones were mostly gone. A couple could still barely be seen, but looked as good as a less than one year old leather seat. Which is incredible for 32 year old original Porsche leather!This process saved thousands over an upholstery shop restoration!I highly recommend Dave of Fibrenew Coastal San Diego!!!I will use him again for future restorations and proudly show off his work to my classic car friends. Dave did a great job on a tricky project. I had a 1999 Porsche 911 and both leather front seats were showing their age. Both needed some minor cracks filled as well as some color touchup.I was worried that a repair job would leave the seats feeling too stiff from the dye/paint and also possibly look unnatural.Dave did a great job repairing and redying the seats in the needed areas as well as blending the other areas. The results were awesome! The seats still look natural but much newer.Dave is a pro! Id hire him again!

I had a bonded leather couch that was starting to peel and look horrible I was told by others on Yelp that bonded leather cannot be repaired. This is the second time Dave fixed a tear in the leather of a seat in our Lexus GS350. This tear was unrelated to the first tear we had fixed. (As a side note, I can now report that his first repair has held up for 6 months and we’ve had no further issues). Like the last repair, Dave was very professional and was easy and quick to work with. He contacted me within a day of the insurance claim being approved. He was even understanding when I forgot about our appointment which caused him a delay of 30 min. Even though I caused him a delay, he took his time and the repair looks great. Would recommend him to anyone and would work with him again.

I had the opportunity to work with Dave when I decided to change the color of my Moms chaise chair. My wife asked me to post this review. She was very satisfied with the work on her Infiniti driver’s seat. The vinyl covering on the side had torn and the repair work fixed all that and the color matches.

We have a special, vintage, purple armshell chair designed by Charles Eames for Herman Miller. It is a naugahyde like vinyl and had very serious cracking on the arms. I looked long and hard to find someone to help us bring it back. After reading all his great reviews I reached out to Dave. He was very honest that this was going to be a challenging repair and that it was. Dave persevered and the end result is that our special chair looks fabulous again and I would give Dave a zillion stars if I could. Plus, hes a super nice guy.
