I love all the staff that do my eye brows here.. They are all trained.. They know what they r doing and they dont just do your eye brows to clean them but leave you with such a pretty face. I think they are all trained to service you. They speak so nicely and are nice kind clean and professional. They make me feel important. Noora is my personal favorite.

They keep it clean but it has an overpowering smell that has given me headaches after being in there for awhile. Their service is great nonetheless.

She really knows her stuff. She took a lot of time and explained everything before we got started. I have a scar from when I was a kid and split my right eyebrow open, only a fine line of sparce hairs and I had previous microblading that was thin, uneven and had turned pinkish. When she said she would give me some bomb brows, I believed her and she really delivered. Meticulously measured, even, looks like actual hairs, cannot see the scar anymore. I feel like this is what my eyebrows would look like if I actually had some. Highly recommended, worth every penny. Im adding before and after pics once its healed.

Brows slayed! Found this place on Google and came for brow threading. There were a few people ahead of me but the wait wasnt very long. The place is cute, clean, nice incense, and plays relaxing music. The lady who did my brows did them exactly like the picture I showed her and they look so good. My brows have been trash since covid and they finally look good. Im glad I found this place, Im not going anywhere else!

The quality has only gone down and the energy here comes off as cold and transactional. First starting coming here in 2015 after i moved to san diego and was looking for an eyebrow threading place nearby. You never know what you will get here, its always a hit or miss. The owner ayeesha has never taken care of me. Time with your technician feels rushed and doesnt allow for much interaction. I asked for my tech’s name and the man at the front was very rude. He looked at me like i had 6 eyes and with a look of disgust and for a second i questioned if he was ever going to come back from his reaction to actually answer my question. It was very demeaning as a patron who has been coming here a lot over the years to be treated like this. just for asking a simple question. It made me feel wrong for asking. Which is a gross environment I want nothing to do with. No matter if they are the brow place I’m familiar with. I’ve even come back after the girl took way too much hair off my brows that I almost started crying on the chair. But this is irredeemable as it lets me know the culture there is toxic and if that’s what the techs are around I don’t want that energy near my brows. He was very abrasive in his response that will be making me take my business elsewhere. No one cares about your brows here as it seems to me they just see you as another customer they can quick rush out of the chair and onto the next. You should give your customers the same level of respect they pay you with. How you do one thing is how you do everything and you should not treat your customers like nuisances.

My eyebrows are ruined. I have to wait a month so they can fully grow, keep in mind I have prom in a week. The guy upfront, the husband, RUDE. His attitude is unnecessary and the vibe when he comes in the room is so thrown off. Me and my friend went in and as soon as I saw my brows I said No tip in my head, when asked for tip I said no but the lady gladly added herself an extra not deserved $6 tip on to her tab.

Just got my eyebrows done, my eyebrows are micro bladed which should make it easier but this was not the case. The lady took off SO much hair the ink is exposed. I grew my eyebrows for a long time just so that they can take out too much hair, now I have to grow them out again. I was the one who stopped the woman cause I felt her going from one eyebrow to the next switching back and forth as if trying to make it even, I asked to see and saw that the ink was showing. So disappointed.Edit to add: I guess they’re not professional either given the response they decided to leave to my initial review. I did not get my eyebrows microbladed here. if y’all did a good job I would have left a good review. I guess everyone is supposed to write a good review even if they had horrible service. No apology for a horrible job either.

I’ve been going to Aaliyah’s since I moved here in 2015, never failed to make me so happy with my eyebrows. They always know what they’re doing and will keep them thick for you and give them shape. I love coming here and do not go to anyone else. The owner is extremely sweet and so is her staff

I grew my eyebrows out for a long time. The last time the girl messed them up, when I said something the girl who did it got upset at me. Today I was left with chola eyebrows. Very disappointed!!Don’t get me wrong Aaliyah is the best. I never had any issues with her. Just the other girls- very disappointing!Respond: Yeah they were because the girl on the left chair did that last time I was there, she was busy flirting with some guy and messed them up. Let’s clear that up. lastly, I didn’t want to be rude and cause a scene like your husband did when he yelled at me to sit on a tan chair. The chair is BROWN. You can’t fix thin eyebrows! I have been coming here for about 5 years now. I’ve had nothing but great experiences.Always felt the workers and the owners have been very polite and professional.I have only came once since the start of the pandemic (because I don’t go out since COVID)And I felt like they went above and beyond.Definitely felt at ease.I love the way my eyebrows turn out. They’ve also been helpful in the past to give me some tips on how to help my eyebrows grow in stubborn areas (due to over waxing).I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Ive been going here sporadically over the years since they opened. More frequent at first when they were new and owner was nice. Sadly the last several interactions with owner (and once the husband over phone)have just been disappointing. Unnecessarily arrogant and rude. Was hoping past times were just one-offs but its clear shes not hurting for business when she can treat a customer like they are a waste of her time if she doesnt like you. Brow job is just ok, but not worth it when there are other options in the area.

I’ve been going here for 5 years, and I had both good and bad experiences. Bad as in removing too much hair off one brow, or them being uneven. But this time has been the worst experience. I couldn’t tell how bad my eyebrows looked until I went into my car and got a closer look. Legit wanted to cry once I saw what she had done. When I go back inside as soon as the lady saw me she goes “ I can fix it”.. HA fix what?? Take more hair?? It’s hair lady once it’s gone their no getting it back. And the owners husband had the nerve to say “what’s wrong with them” likeeee are you blind? He then had me take a seat and wait for the chick who ruined my eyebrows to try and “fix” them. I walked out and that will definitely be the last time I ever go back to that salon. THE ONLY PERSON WHO KNOWS WHAT THEIR DOING IS THE OWNER AAYESHA. So if you do plan on going go to her.

Great eyebrow craft. She does eyebrows extremely well. The gentleman who handles appointments is extremely rude and disrespectful, however. If that service aspect was improved, this would be a 5 star place.I was told I needed an appointment if I want to ensure I am not rejected when I get there. I have unfortunately been trying so hard to get in touch to make an appointment for a whole week now. It’s been impossible. I just want to get my eyebrows done seamlessly, not sure why that is so challenging here!

Owner was completely rude when I asked basic questions about booking appointments during Covid. This seems to be a repeated trend. I’m upset that I gave them my business and will not be returning and will be sure to tell others about their terrible service.

I have been to all the Eyebrow threading businesses in a 20 mile radius of Hillcrest and this one is by far the beat salon in all of San Diego. There are nice, professional, pay close attention to detail and know what they are doing. This is the only place I go now, and I will wait for an opening if I can’t get in to see them. I don’t let anyone touch my brows but Aaliyah’s Beauty and Brows. They are the beat and I recommend them to anyone and everyone, guy or girl. I have been going every 2 weeks for the last 2 years and I have never been complimented more on any of my features than my fabulous eyebrows.

I wanna say, i’ve been waxing my eyebrow for the past four years with the same girl. I was really hesitant to do my eyebrow with someone else. Especially that I have never tried threading before. I honestly can say I am really glad I did she’s really great.This is a really clean and sanitize place. She’s very friendly real professional, this is my first time going there but for sure is not doing to be my last.

Makes no sense to have an online booking for appointment if your not really making an appointment, it’s just a request to make an appointment and then the owner has to confirm, I received a confirmation for my request thinking it was a confirmation for my appt since the website is not clear. I made my appt at 2pm this afternoon for 6:30pm, I don’t understand why you are able to request a time if it takes the owner up to 24 hours to confirm appt, very unprofessional and waste of time, i guess they don’t care to get back to their customers.

Lets start this review from the beginning. Gentleman at the door opened the door and he made rude gestures with his pointed at the sign in a condescending manner. They are doing a good job as far as maintaining good Covid19 safety measures which is great.He assumed my girlfriend did not speak English because she was on the phone talking Spanish while him and I were talking. We live in San Diego there are many bilingual people. So from the start things did not go well. Good thing host did say sorry about assuming about the language thing.Person that did her brows actually cut her and there was no apology and of course no tip was given and we always tip everywhere we go. I think it is unprofessional that no apology was given or anything. People make mistakes it is understandable thus the result of this review.

After looking for a new place to do my brows, I came across this place and read the reviews. I read about how poor the gentlemen here treats people and sure enough I witnessed it. Very condescending and rude. Seems to only want to deal with female clients, saw his demeanor change with male clients. I would come here more since the quality of service from the women doing the service is great but I won’t be back if that guy is there.

I cannot suggest this place enough if youre looking for a great threading place or microblading. Although Ive had positive experiences with both (the threading is quick, reasonably priced, and leave your brows nicely shaped and cleaned up), the microblading that Ayesha the owner offers is the crown jewel of all my experiences Ive had here. If I could give it 10 stars I would! Ayesha is so sweet and really cares about what YOU want and she believes in strong transparency in every step of the process. I came to Aaliyahs Beauty and Brows after seeing all the great Yelp reviews--they hold up. My brows have always been a little sparse, thin and on the light side. I had never had microblading done before, but I was tired of spending a lot of money and time on products to help me achieve my best brow look. Ayeshas microblading has been the perfect solution to that. The microblading is usually done in 2 rounds. The first is lighter and sets the shape, the second round is where the magic happens. I just finished my second round and my eyebrows look naturally fuller, well-defined, and (in my opinion) perfect. There is some discomfort associated with the process but its tolerable and Ayesha is very gentle and will stop whenever you feel like it and reapply the numbing cream. After getting my eyebrows done here I am CONVINCED that I will 1) Never be able to go anywhere else and 2) Never live without having my eyebrows look as they do now. Although Ayeshas skill on my brows is amazing, shes also incredibly honest and caring. She genuinely values the work she does and usually shes just as excited about the result as I am. She constantly says, Make yourself comfortable, if the customer isnt comfortable then Im not either. The atmosphere is always comfortable and relaxing. Bottom line: Aaliyahs Beauty and Brows is wonderful in both their professionalism, skill and care that the staff has. I could not recommend this place more!

Called in to see if this place was open and was told it would be open to 6. So I drove for 25 min. Just to have a guy I dont want to say gentlemen he was far from it. Just be rude and insulting. I just had to leave. I know there are few places to go to at this time but not worth being disrespected. I rather give my money to someone who appreciates it.

I had a very good experience at Aaliyah’s. I have gotten micro blading before but needed to get a touchup so I came to Aaliyah‘s and had wonderful service, my eyebrows came out looking fresh and better than they were before. I would definitely recommend a Lias to anyone wanting to get micro blading or micro shading done. The shop was very Clean and organized. The customer service was phenomenal. And the product was worth the money. Highly recommend.

Cant say enough about this location! I got my eyebrows done last Tuesday. It was the first time I had been out since quarantine. I found them to be very professional, easy process and very sterile.When you arrive, you sign in on the clipboard outside the front door. Once that happens, they will call you to say they are ready for you to come in. You must wear your mask entire visit as they too are wearing theirs.It was a swift easy, efficient process that I greatly appreciate. I would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking eyebrow service.My technician for the day was Saira. She was fantastic. Very relaxing and tranquil. Also I was in and out. They opened at 11:30 am. I was 2nd to arrive at 11:27 am. I was seen by 11:35 am and was out the door by 11:45 am and that included my chit chatting as well. It was great.I highly recommend this location to everyone!!!

In town for vacation stopped in! I must say although I was not satisfied with the actual threading(too thin) they tried to fix it and was very good at reading my dissatisfaction although I kept smiling! I will definitely be back. After reading the Yelp reviews I decided to give Aaliyahs a try and I was not disappointed. I stopped by (walk-in) on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm. There was only one customer ahead of me. I was in and out in 20 minutes. The owner was extremely helpful and shaped my brows a little at a time until the perfect shape was achieved. The shop is very clean and comfortable. Plenty of magazines to read.

Love this place! I get my eyebrows threaded here and even during busier times if I do a walk in, I usually don’t wait any longer than 10-15 minutes. I don’t always get my eyebrows done by the same person so I just bring a picture and I’m always happy with the result! The girls there are even more than happy to fill in my eyebrows for me after since they’re super light and even showed me how, since I’m clueless with doing it myself. I highly recommend this place :)

This was my first time ever microblading my eyebrows and I love the results! They look very natural and full. I was a little scared because I can’t take pain, but I can honestly say that it wasn’t painful at all. Aaliyah did a fantastic job. Seriously, check them out! You won’t be disappointed.

This is thee brow spot. Clean space, always smells good. All the brow artists know what they’re doing so you don’t have to worry if you’re gonna end up w super weird eyebrows lol. You can trust all of them to know what looks good on you. The owners are super nice and friendly too. I used to go to Dolly’s but they’d often be too busy w too long of a wait ☹Every 7th (I think?) visit you get rewarded w a free eyebrow threading, so keep coming here and be rewarded w always clean brows and an eventual freebie. I time coming here with the $1 Oscar’s fish taco happy hour next door.. super win win errand.Last thing: this strip mall parking lot is not the best. I just park on the street and walk a block or so, much better than battling it out in the super small lot.

They take walk ins, are friendly, and detailed! The women spent a good amount of time just cleaning up my eye brows and even went back for more after a second look! I used to break out after getting threaded but havent here. They do a great job.

I’ve been coming here for 2+ years to get my eyebrows threaded. I don’t trust any other place in SD. They always go above and beyond and I’ve never had a bad experience. My only complaint would be that the chairs you sit in while they are threading your brows feel very cheap and flimsy as if it’s about to fall apart while you’re sitting in it. But I’m definitely still set on giving 5 stars. They are fantastic. Simply the best.

Very friendly staff and clean facilities. They ladies there are very knowledgeable and willing to listen to what you want. I had a great first threading experience, and will be going back again to get my grooming done. I just walked in and they had me in the chair within in minutes. Amazing experience! They were all very friendly, it was a quick service great but they had phenomenal customer service! Its a very clean location with plenty of parking and they actually listen to what you want! I even attempted to upsell myself on eyebrows and she said mine looked great and to wait a couple more weeks! First place to ever do that! 10/10/17 i came back for a touch up and my brows lasted about 90% with the micro blading! How awesome, they still looked amazing, Ayesha touched up both sides and gave them an extra hint of love and again they still look perfect . I am very pleased with the results! First time having eyebrows threaded. Hurt a lil compared to having eyebrows waxed the last 20 years but eyebrows came out great. Had a hard time finding a new place for my eyebrows once I moved here but this place did a great job. UPDATE: The last couple times I have gone here I have not been completely happy with my eyebrows. I will start to ask for the owner.

First I want to say that Ayesha went out of her way to come in earlier just to fit me in her schedule. I came in with 90s eyebrows over plucked and under maintained. Not knowing what to expect I was a bit nervous that I would not get a fully natural looking eyebrows. But she works miracles I leave with flawless eyebrows. I did ombre shading with Ayesha and they are BEAUTIFUL!! She was super gentle and very patient. After I was a little nervous because I loved the shape but they were a dark for my taste. She assured me thats normal and after about 10 days they would heal and lighten. They did and they look perfect! Ive been going to her for about 5 years and her and her staff are truly the best in the business.

They truly do the best eyebrow threading in town. Service, price, work are all equally amazing. First time I came here was about a year ago and I havent cheated on Aaliyah or any of her girls since, now my life may not be perfect but my brows sure are!
