I dont consider myself a gym type person.. But if all gyms were like this I guess I would be! I have always trained alone. But the year I been going here has improved my athletic performance 100% Dan and Hannibal and the rest of the crew not only are great trainers they make every one feel like they are family. Lots of different types of classes (OCR Training, spin, yoga, boot camp).also a couple times a year a group fitness / weight loss challenge. Lots of outdoor stuff also(beach workouts, mountain hikes/runs, stairs workouts, etc. ) Thanks for making me a stronger, faster, better athlete. Most of all thanks for making me feel like part of the family!
Iβve always struggled feeling like I βbelongedβ at a gym. Iβve tried 24 hour and other neighborhood gyms which are all great, but Ive struggled staying motivated. NXPT is seriously LIFE CHANGING! The trainers truly believe in you and really push you to work your hardest. But my favorite part is how quick and effective the work outs are. I love the X45 workouts! I average burning around 400-500 calories in the 45 minute classes. The staff are so kind and push you in a way that is NOT demeaning or making you feel like you cant keep up. I really appreciate this :) I have been attending since 06/20, and have already noticed myself having more muscle definition and becoming stronger.
My friend introduced me to NXPT and I tried it out for 10 days. I knew after the first day I had found my new gym. The coaches are supportive, kind, and motivating. The workouts are well organized, explained, and fun! There are a variety of classes such as yoga, outdoor beach workouts, and OCR classes. All of the members are also welcoming and friendly. Im glad I decided to check them out and there are also 2 locations which makes it convenient. Even during COVID theyve managed to do workouts outside which I love.
I am so glad that NXPT is open right now providing a way to relieve stress during Covid. The gym is kept clean and exceeds the requirements needed to be open right now, which is why I felt comfortable going back in September.Not only are the workouts are challenging, but also fun. Trainer Dan and Hannibal are the best in San Diego.

I have been at NXPT for more than a few months now and I am so impressed by the level of motivation and energy that Dan and Hannibal bring to every single workout! No matter how tired, sore or stressed I am when I walk in they help push me through all that to give 100% every time. On top of that, they are always putting up new challenges to keep us motivated and working towards goals whether it be a month long gym vs gym competition or teaming up on challenges to hit our fat loss/lean muscle gain goals.With the cancelation of so many races and OCRs this year I really needed to find something to help me stay focused on my goals rather than the craziness of 2020. I recently started with NXPT and after my first class i was hooked! And also realized that this was the extra push that I needed! The trainers motivate, push you, and make sure youre not slacking. They offer classes for the early birds (4:30am first class), mid day go-ers and the late nighters (6:30pm last class), even Yoga and Zumba if you want to switch it up. I highly recommend giving NXPT a try, I promise you will not be disappointed!
NXPT is simply awesome, all the trainers are nice and super chill and motivate you to keep working through the workouts and pushing yourself to new limits. Most of the classes Iβve been able to go to the trainers are Hannibal and Dan and they really help you to meet your goal for that workout which is really motivating. Love the variety of every workout, its different everyday which I really like because doing the same workouts can get boring but thats definitely not the case here. I would definitely recommend NXPT to people who are looking for a new gym and want to get better results. NO EXCUSES!!
Iβve been coming here for a week and Iβm hooked! This class doesnβt compare to other HIIT or CrossFit gyms- it is unlike the rest in the best way possible! I would say itβs a mix between a HIIT workout and CrossFit.Class is different every time. I like that the warm up is a legit warm up with getting your heart rate going so then your body is ready to work when you dive right into the workout.Dan is awesome and I love his morning classes!
I have been coming to this gym for over a year and absolutely love it. Prior to my NXPT experience I hadnβt been to a gym in years, my experience here has been a motivating one, the instructors Dan and Hannibal do so much for their clients and they have an amazing personality. The people at the gym are friendly, welcoming and have become my friends. I can truly say that as long as i live in San Diego i will continue to be a part of the NXPT family. Thank you for your hard work in keeping this gym fun and a place that i can call home.
As someone who gets easily bored with workout studios and gyms, I have to say that NXPT is my new favorite place as the work outs are constantly changing. The work outs are intense but very do-able for any skill level. The coaches are amazing and really pay attention to their clients to make sure they are using the correct form with the exercises. They are motivating and keep it high energy throughout. I have definitely noticed a change in my body - I feel so much stronger and confident since starting their classes. NXPT is an awesome gym for any and everybody. It incorporates strengthening and cardio and I always leave feeling like I got an awesome work-out. Highly recommend if you want to get into the best shape of your life!!
This place is great! One thing I noticed (and really appreciate) is that all of the trainers make an effort to get to know you. Each time I was in a class with a trainer I hadnt met yet, the trainer made it a point to come introduce themselves and to ask my name. There are a variety of classes to choose from that you are sure to be challenged by. Every class, every workout can be modified to fit any fitness or ability level. You wont be disappointed!!

What an amazing gym NXPT is. Iβve been a member for over 3 years now and Dan and Hannibal have changed my life. They not only help you physically but also mentally. They motive you and help you achieve your goals. They have literally become family and were able to attend my wedding!!!! Best workout in 45 minutes hands down! Classes are always on time, loud music, encouraging trainers. Programming is challenging, effective, and fun. Scalable to any fitness level. So many class time options and class types (HIIT, cycling, yoga, OCR), even open on Sundays! Tons of offerings outside of workout classes to support healthy lifestyle for members. Ten out of five stars... highly recommend!

NXPT comes to our office every day and I never miss a workout. I used to be a division one college athlete so I like to be pushed pretty hard - we get trained by Ryan Connor who challenges both the group and on an individual basis. I love his style of training and I love how excited I am every day to get my workout in!!! Definitely recommend.
Best gym in San Diego hands down with the best trainers. The gym has helped me to stay in shape during pregnancy and even after. I am 11 months pp and back in shape to prebaby shape. These trainers motivate you and push you to your limits so that you can see the changes in your body. They provide different workouts so it never gets boring.
I recently started a trial with NXPT Fitness because I wanted a change to my normal workout routine. Their bootcamp style workouts are amazing. They are designed for every fitness level and for every age group. I recently started obstacle course racing and I wanted to up my fitness goals and my training. NXPT has done that for me. The staff and the members are friendly, encouraging, and welcome you with enthusiasm and smiles. I was excited to see that NXPT also offers cycling and yoga classes. I have been coming to NXPT for almost three years. I first tried them out through Groupon and have been hooked! I donβt come regularly but will try to make it at least once a week. Each day/week is a different work out and you will DEFINITELY sweat. The trainers push you to your limit and are super motivating. Even with my minimal visits, I still feel stronger and better than I ever have.
Hands down best all around fitness organization I have ever joined. They make you feel like family here! You can choose from such a variety of classes, no matter what your age or fitness level.
Got to do 2 classes of bootcamp with the 10Γ10 promo they have and it was great definitely thinking on becoming a member. Felt great after the second class, the body feels the energy and strength. Trainers are positive and motivate you every second.
I tried the classes because I friend recommended this gym. The classes are very complete. You work out all your body. I love feeling the very sore next day but the most important you see results very fast. You should try NXPT gym.
LOVE THIS GYM!!! Classes with Ryan Connor have literally changed my life. I played high school sports and after that only had the standard 3 week rallies of im going to get back in shape which never lasted long.... I turned 30 and realized I needed to find something sustainable: Enter NXPT. The entire gym is designed to motivate and sustain exercise as apart of your lifestyle, not just something that you will get burned out on. Ive found all you have to do is SHOW UP and then your life changes. Im no where near where I want to be, but Im 100x closer towards getting there and Ive never had more energy. The coaches know how to push you to your limit without pushing so hard you cant workout the rest of the week.This gym is for all skill levels and seriously feels like a family after even just a few weeks of class. JUST BOOK THE WEEK TRIAL (as I did) and you will be hooked.

If youre looking for a place thatll help you get stronger, this is it. NXPT will push you and youll have trainers and peers encouraging you the whole time. This gym may look intimidating, but all shapes and sizes are welcomed! I used to barely keep up with burpees, but now I understand why they call it favorite exercise.
I love going to NXPT. The trainers Dan and Hannibal are incredible motivators. Itβs very fast pace it keeps you focused and I have absolutely seen results over the last three months.

Ive done a lot of fitness in my day and no other gym or trainers in San Diego compare to this place. They are extremely motivational, creative in their workouts, exciting, friendly, family oriented and everything about this gym is just FANTASTIC. The trainers know you by name and encourage you to be the best you can be. They advise you about nutrition and fitness and you can even get a massage from the masseuse there. Which is another A+ for this gym. I was able to run my first Spartan Sprint with the help from my training here. The class times/membership types fit almost everyones schedules and that is why I love NXPT. People ask me all the time where I go, and I say NXPT because I am #NXPTMADE.

Ill admit I was a little skeptical at first. Ive never been big on CrossFit style, fast paced workouts. But they do an amazing job of challenging your physical limitations as well as your mental. Im still relatively new, but the trainers and gym goers are all phenomenal people. And I can honestly say that I feel prepared for the Spartan Race I have coming up this weekend. I highly recommend them.I do want to add this to the review as a heads up. In my opinion, you should have a basic understanding of what correct form is for common exercises, and how to self correct when you start getting tired. There are pretty big numbers in the classes (this allows the gym to continue operating). However, that means that the trainers cant fix all the small technical issues that you may have during class. Knowing good technique can greatly reduce your chances of an injury.My second recommendation would be to get a basic understanding of technique, and be willing to ask the trainers before or after class if they can give you some pointers if you get stuck.I just moved from North County San Diego. I was fortunate to go to a gym there that had a very strong focus on technique. I come to NXPT with years of experience at focusing on my technique, and I can do most exercises without worrying about the consequences of poor form.As I said in the first paragraph, I highly recommend this gym. I only wanted to add the bit about technique because its something that I didnt understand until years into working out. Hope this helps!

I just started joining them, and its amazing to see how so many people there have so much energy. People with any shape come, and no hard feeling, other people are just trying their best, no pressure if you cant do it, as long as you tried your best

The trainers are so inspiring, friendly and caring. I love everything about this place, itβs a OCR oriented gym so if youβre thinking in running a Spartan race, tough mudder, gladiator, etc this is the right place...you can practice rope climbing, Olympus, twister, Bender, monkey bars etc.The gym also offers bootcamp, x45, x30, spinning, yoga, weightlifting and a lot of outdoor workouts(beach, parks, mountains) so you have βno excusesβ to work out. Classes are Monday thru Sunday...βno excusesβFrom 4:30am to 8pm...βno excusesβ...see you there.
Excellent gym, friendly people, be prepared to sweat a lot, great workout, clean and spacious facilities. Different workouts every day, very challenging, perfect for everyone who wants to go beyond your comfort zone.
Visited this gym while on a visit to San Diego thinking it was a Crossfit affiliate last year (I was new to the Crossfit platform). Anyway, since I had already shown up, I decided to stay. That was my first lesson in hostility from the non-Cross fit community to those who belong to it. The instructor Hannibal shaded me during the workout and it was just a negative vibe. Whats ironic is that much of the classes are structured very similarly to the Crossfit platform. I didnt feel welcomed. Found a Crossfit affiliate the next day and they welcomed me right on in like family.
