From the start the response was completely different with D’Sapone. All the other estimates said the same thing “we’ll regrout and reseal” or worse “this whole thing needs to be pulled up and redone”.D’Sapone diagnosed the issue on a much deeper level and offered a solution that would avoid a costly retiling and maintain better tile overall.Chris was the contractor brought out. He was very thorough and explained every detail of the process so I was not left feeling like I didn’t know what was going on. If anything I knew more about tile and grout and solutions to rectify ongoing issues by the time the process was over.This was an all-day job but the results speak for themselves. My shower tile was transformed. The job was finished without any sign a contractor had been in my house all day and if I’m honest he left the place cleaner than he found it.For anyone in the San Diego area looking for more than a quick fix and instead actual solutions to their tile and grout issues, I would highly recommend Chris and D’Sapone.

Chris did an awesome job. A lot of detail work making sure our showers and countertops looked amazing and were good for the long term. Chris is extremely knowledgeable about different types of stone and how to care for it. They likely wont be the cheapest quote, but they are the most detailed and go above and beyond. If you have nice stone and want it to look as good as when you installed it and have it last, go with DSapone.

After 10 years it was time to clean and restore the stone tile inside and outside our home. We met with several contractors and had several estimates. Most of the contractors were similar in their approach, materials used, etc. Their treatments were consistent with those we had used in the past which held up for a year or less and had to be redone.The bid from Chris of DSapone was the most expensive. We met with him to find out why the DSapone process was more expensive. Chris spent a lot of time explaining the restoration process and how they were different. His company uses in house chemists to adjust and manufacture proprietary products as needed. Most of his work is heavy use commercial like high end hotels.We thought if it was good enough for the Hilton it was good enough for us. We were fed up with the annual maintenance and poor results. In fact, we had reached the point where we were considering tearing it all out and starting over. Although his estimate was the highest we decided to use DSapone.Chris showed up on time every day. He kept us informed about each step, pointed out a few trouble areas and fixed them. He stayed late to finish as needed. He spent a lot of time educating us on the proper ways to care for our refurbished stone. The inside and outside tiles now look magnificent again and best of all, future maintenance will be much less.I dont write reviews very often, but Chris did such an outstanding job that I wanted to share our experience. They say you get what you pay for .... in this case we got even more. Now that weve seen the difference we realize the money we spent in the past trying to keep our floors looking good was a waste. Our stone tiles look great again. I highly recommend Chris and DSapone.

My shower was looking worse with all the stains and mold. I already had taken a restoration service from some other company where they performed tile cleaning, re-caulking and re-grouting, but my shower started loosing its beauty again and after six months it started looking worse. Am glad that i found DSapone online and one of their artists made my shower look beautiful and fresh new with a 5 year labor warranty. He cleaned my shower with a high quality penetrating cleaner and instead of re-grouting, he fixed the damaged grout using a powerful adhesive, which he pigmented before he applied to the surface, so it looks natural and beautiful. He also didnt perform recaulking like other companies, he used a quality product to seal the corners. He waterproofed the grout lines with a solvent based titanium sealer. DSapone offered me a 5 year labor warranty. Now my shower has no peeling and no staining issues. Now its been more than two months and it looks fresh new and beautiful. I recommend DSapone to everyone who is looking for the best restoration service.
