Are you seeking a contract position with Transition Staffing Group? Be advised that they can lay you off at any time, even during the training process. I hate to give this review, especially to a company with numerous awards and a 4.9-star rating. At the time, this felt like an opportunity of a lifetime. I wish I wrote this review sooner, but dating back to December 2020, I was beyond excited as a college graduate to be offered a position as a Recruiter Assistant (Entry-Level). As a candidate with only a year of experience in Talent Acquisition, I felt confident that I could become a motivated, hard-working, and difference-maker to excel and meet the teams goals and expectations. Just three days into the training process working from home, and a week before Christmas break, I was immediately let go without a thorough explanation.Asking questions to my supervisors regarding the software programs, and additional tools needed to thrive with a growing company should be a part of the learning process with any company. I felt management and the teams decision to give me a chance had been rushed to assist their recruiters during the busy holiday season before the break. Another recruiter had left for a different opportunity elsewhere before my arrival, which makes me wonder if there were even other candidates in consideration. The company partner who I spoke with in person had already left on holiday vacation but only answered a few general questions through Microsoft Teams before leaving it up to the recruiters to take care of all the rest. After a brief call from the partner after being let go, I was informed that time is money and money is time. I did absolutely nothing wrong to deserve this!Overall, the opportunity with Transition Staffing Group was not what I expected. They obviously didnt do enough research on who they were hiring to begin with! Its too bad they missed out on a great candidate who is mature and ready to work hard. It was even more disappointing and left me feeling sick to my stomach when the Operations Manager arrived at my house to have me sign off on termination forms and to return all equipment borrowed for the position. I was informed that I would hear back to be given feedback on what exactly went wrong, which I still to this day have never received after multiple attempts to reach out for an answer. How can I possibly grow from my struggles I apparently encountered to make me a better and outstanding candidate for another company?Unprofessional to say the least. Never given a chance to show my true colors! There was no assistance offered either in helping me find other careers within the staffing industry, as Im still struggling to this day in April 2021. I stand by my star rating until I receive feedback!

I was in a months-long search for a job, and I wasnt the easiest paralegal candidate to present, as I was from out of state. After my interview, which had gone very, very well, he talked to me about taking advantage of that enthusiasm on boht sides. He called the firm and told them I would give up the interview I had scheduled later in the week if they would come up in salarly. I truly didnt believe it would work, but Marcus did his magic, got me the job, and got the salary increased considerably.I coluld not believe it! He took the time to cheer with me on the phone and then explain next steps,and then cheered with me some more.Marcus thinks outside the box, and treats every client like they are his top priority. There was never a time when I felt he had given up on me, even when I had given up on myself.He is a true professional, and he is quite young. I cannot imagine the incredible trajectory his own career will take. If it werent for him, I wouldnt have secured the job, which I did the same day of my interview-thanks to his thoughtful assistance and notable responsiveness. In less than a week, I was able to secure a position which I absolutely love, in a professional field I never imagined myself working in and that was all thanks to MARCUS, as well as the rest of his team including CHRSTY, as well as JEFF, who I met briefly but am so glad I did because he left a wonderful impression as well and was instrumental in me getting the job I now have. Its been 25 years since I last looked for employment and the most striking change Ive seen is the lack of respect for job seekers. There are very, very few recruiters who make personal contact, take time, learn about the candidate and show an interest. One of the best part I really like about TSG is that the agencies not only just send a piece of hiring information to you, but also help you to prepare the interview, give you the feedback from hiring companies. In this way, we can also improve our interview skills. I feel its really important to me. I highly recommend TSG for the people who are looking for jobs.
