Very poor customer service from Kelly Chong. I placed an order online, paid and waited...10 days later I still hadn’t received the item. So I called and was told they were moving and I had to be patient. So, I waited again and still nothing. I called again and spoke to Kelly again. Was told he’d ship the item out Monday. Monday came and went, I called again as was told “ you need to be patient” I was then hung up on. 4 days later I received a refund, no explanation, no communication at all. What a piss poor way to do business. It’s a shame I have to give one star.Maybe Kelly should focus on business and not protesting Nikon and the other camera companies that they won’t ship parts out to him. With his miserable way of running a business, I don’t blame them.

I cracked my LCD screen on my Sony a7RII and brought it here for repair. Their quote was the cheapest out of a few other shops and was estimated to take about eight days for parts and labor, but it was complete in about four. I would recommend and return.

Been to the shop twice with different cameras or Components. Received excellent service both times. Dropped off a Nikon digital camera and waiting for parts to arrive. Don was very professional with his dealings with us. Recomnend this shop.

This locations staff are very unprofessional and extremely rude. Their pricing is very shady, stating that they have a deal for a cleaning of a cannon DSLR camera for 50 dollars but then says that they cant guarantee that price without an inspection. I told them the camera is brand new and that it simply has some dust in it from taking pictures on a job site and I want it cleaned. The woman became agitated on the phone and very aggressive when I asked how can you tell me you have a deal for a cleaning for 50 dollars and then tell me you cant guarantee that price? Why not just say instead that if you want a cleaning and only a cleaning the special price is 50 dollars? She then got hostile and said what dont you understand, I just explained it to you! They also told me that they would up charge for the lens attached to the camera and that they would charge for taking the camera apart for inspection. I kept telling her its a brand new camera! It doesnt need inspection, I just want it cleaned. She finally said that she cant help us, that they wont simply clean the camera that they need to inspect it first. Than its not a 50 special! Plain and simple! So frustrating! I will not be going here. Im not going to take my $5,000 dollar camera some place trying to screw me with up charges and hidden fees and who isnt a reputable camera store and isnt an authorized dealer to work on cannon. Thats just my 2 cents. Customers beware!

I could write a book describing all of the ways in which the reception staff completely blew me off, both in person and on the phone. They had absolutely no concern for fixing my camera at all. To make the long story short the end result was that they had my camera for over 8 weeks and it did not get fixed!!! When I called for the final time outraged that they had indicated the fix would take 2 weeks and then failed to update me, the woman on the phone was silent for a minute and then said Well so do you want us to reorder the part or....?, which btw was a part that she was supposed to have ordered 8 weeks prior. In addition when I got the camera to the next repair shop I was told that the issue is in fact something that needed to be fixed by Nikon -- so in the end their analysis was also wrong.

I went here twice: the first time for a lens, and the second time for my Minolta Maxxum 7 (film camera). The lens was repaired in a couple of days at a reasonable price whereas another repair place had previsouly refused to repair it.The second time my Minolta Maxxum 7 (FILM camera) had a problem with the shutter. The problem was not correctly diagnosed in the first place, and I was charged for an overall cleaning, but when I brought the camera back to the shop it was then properly repaired without any extra charge.Wonderful!

I didnt know what to expect from this shop when I first read all the reviews. But since they are the closest camera shop from my house, i decided to give it a shot.I brought my canonet ql17 giii in to get fixed. I got a call back next day telling me it was ready. I tested it out and everything is as good as new. They actually did more than I asked them to, also. I just needed a front element replaced, but ended up with all the other parts that I removed.I also brought my Mamiya c220 with an 80mm f2.8 lens to get a sticky shutter fixed. A little more difficult than repalcing the canonet front element. They said they will check it out to see if anything else was wrong with the system and that theyll get back to me within the next two days. I got a call back next day telling me that there were a few more issues that that I told them. They gave me an estimated two weeks for the camera to be fixed. I got it back within that time frame. No more sticky shutter, no more light leaks. Everything work slike a charm. They also sell film cameras there. They will ensure you that the camera is functioning properly before letting you take it from the shop. That is the type of camera shop I was looking for all along.I dont know what all the bad reviews were all about, but seeing that they were from years ago, they have made some changes. Excellent experience with this shop.Bottom Line: Awesome experience

Im now leaving for a trip to minneapolis to shoot a skateboarding contest and am left with a 57 shots (Large, not raw) and no way to transfer to clear card and continue shooting.
