My computer was slowing down plus the storage drives were 8 years old and almost full. I love my older Toshiba Qosmio and rather than replace it and having to start new, I sent it to Fortress Computers. I got my laptop back, the technicians replaced the old drives with SSD drives with all my programs running so fast I thought I had the latest computer. I had other issues I put up with and I made a list and they took care of those as well. Ive used Fortress before and theyve always been excellent and priced fair for the great work they do. They also give me options that I havent thought of. Im just a novice and just want my computer to work with no surprises.Im so blessed they are in business throughout this pandemic. This place is fantastic! I had a major desktop crash and they worked tirelessly to fix it and recover what they could. When I was finally able to restore my files, they ended up under old user names. When I called to ask how to fix this, they had me bring the desktop back in and cleaned it all up for me. Their prices are very fair for the level of service you get. Fortress Computer Pros has never let us down!!! After last weeks power outage our main computer would not turn on after we got power back. We took our computer to them Friday and they had us up and running by Monday!! Such quick turn around! I consider myself pretty competent when it comes to computers. When I have a problem I cant fix or figure out I always go to Fortress. Their technicians are excellent. Their turnaround time is good. I would recommend them to anyone.

Came in with my old Gateway laptop which had a problem of the battery not charging. Marc was helpful in locating the source of the problem. After testing the most common problem in this case, it was diagnosed as a bad motherboard. Mark did not try to sell me any gimmicks, but instead informed me of the different routes that I should consider. One being that the cost of a new motherboard and install would run me the same price as a brand new laptop. I was very pleased with the knowledge, service, and respect that I received there. I would recommend this place to anyone needing help with a computer repair.

Disappointed. I have used Fortress Computer Pros for years and I thought they were pretty good. But, recently, it has not been good. I had viruses on my computer and I took it in. They werent able to start working on it for a week and then told me that the computer was too slow and it needed to be wiped and have the files reloaded onto my computer. When I received my computer after two weeks, some of the files were there but not all of them. I had to take it back in and it took another week before I got it back. Virtually all of my programs were gone and I had to spend several hours reloading everything and getting back together again. Additionally, I had to reload the scanner and printer drivers and when I tried to use the scanner, it wouldnt work right. I spent hours trying to figure it out with no luck. I expressed my frustrations with Marc and he insulted me by telling me Im the one not willing to face reality. He said I was told that this is what I would get back, which is not true. Furthermore, any normal person would expect to get their computer back in usable form (i.e., with programs and files where they belong.) I told him that was a mean thing to say and he accused me of insulting him with my complaints. Honestly, Marc may come off a personable at first like he wants to help, but he isnt. Tragically, I will not be recommending them to anybody.

I have used Fortress Computer services twice in the last couple of years and I cannot rate the service highly enough. Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Great customer service too. I would recommend them highly to anyone.

These folks have been our go to guys since Hector was a pup. We started going to Fortress before they called themselves Fortress, many years ago. They built computers for our out of state business in the hundreds. We have a company standard computer and I call Marc to send one to property X or maybe ten computers to property Y and it gets done without my having to go thru the brain damage of having to do it all myself. We always get quick turnaround and they customized my Macbook Plus with a solid state hard drive and it is much better.. If you need something taken care of with your computers call Marc or Seth, or anybody at Fortress and relax, they take care of you..When anyone tells me they have a computer problem especially with Trojans and Worms I always get Marc on the phone and it gets fixed right away.They will work with you to solve any problem with our home or business systems. Marc maintains our company server and it is always there and backed up professionally. I bring all my family computer problems to Marc and they take care of us.
