Captain John and his team were amazing for our recent charter. For the size of the boat, and how many people it can accommodate, you won’t find a better value. I spent weeks researching options and can say there aren’t many others boats, if any, that can hold this many people for the same affordable price range.The team went above and beyond in accommodating my guests and were nothing short of phenomenal. There were a few difficult guests in my party but Captain John and the crew handled it with nothing but class and a smile.The sound system was great and it was nice to have a fully functioning bathroom. The boat had about 5 different seating areas so there was plenty of room for folks to spread out and take in the different views.Highly recommend this boat for any special celebration you may have in the future.

Highly recommend! A group of around 30 of my friends celebrated me and 2 other friends’ birthdays and everything about the trip was amazing. Captain John and Barbara were fantastic and all of us had the time of our lives. Capt. John was very responsive leading up to the trip which was very helpful with planning. Would book again in a heartbeat!

What an amazing day out on the water!! Captain John and First Mate Josh were incredibly professional, respectful, fun-loving, and kind. The safety briefing before boarding was wonderful—Captain John made sure that all of us (party of 30) understood the necessary safety features of the boat and protocol in case of emergency. Even with the crew’s keen attention to safety, they were respectful of our group’s wanting to have a good time throughout! The facilities were perfect. The boat is equipped with a lovely lower deck with a bar, lounge space, and bathroom. The main deck by the helm has a nice space to dance (can fit about 25 total) and little sky-view perch for 6 guests to sit in. The bow of the boat can seat about 10. Great speaker system that fills the boat with your music and an iPad so your group can DJ their own music, although the Captain had a more-than-sufficient sense of the kind of music we would like and catered to it very, very well!! After 3 hours on the Bella Luna, we were having so much fun that we ended up extending our time on the boat by another hour!! We cannot recommend the Bella Luna, Captain John, or First Mate Josh enough!!!

A time to remember on the Bella Luna Yacht. She handle a lot with our group of 30 people. Celebrated a birthday. With a great sound system and nice lights it gives it an awesome vibe at night. Captain and 1st mate are awesome and very helpful as well as patient. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views of the bay. Highly recommend.

I had a great time on the Bella Luna! It is clean and spacious. Captain John is safe and in control of his ship at all times. Add his great selection of music to the mix and all had a good time dancing and grooving to the tunes. He took us on a tour of the bay as well as an up close view of the USS Midway. We are so blessed to live in SD which was apparent during our evening cruise. I cant wait for another opportunity to go out on his ship. If you are looking to show off San Diego to friends and visitors, you must hire Captain John and the Bella Luna!

We enjoyed a beautiful cruise of the harbor with Captain John and Barbara, in honor of our dads 100th birthday! The captain and crew were amazingly accommodating in allowing an old guy in a wheelchair on board, but he boarded safely with their help, and he LOVED it! In fact, this was a record for the Bella Luna, surpassing the previous record of a 95-year-olds cruise. The yacht is gorgeous and comfortable, and the crew was very good at noting points of interest as we passed by. Highly recommend!

Captain John and Barbara are great, very accommodating and attentive to our needs. Rented this boat for my 24th birthday and everyone had a great time. Captain John was great with communication before and during the event, answered all of our questions/concerns in a timely manner. The boat is beautiful and very clean, a nice bar/food setup area if you want to set up a small buffet and drinks. Lots of space for everyone to move around and sit comfortably. Great sound system and cool party lights if youre going out past sunset. Would highly recommend booking the Bella Luna if youre looking to have a boat party!

Went to a wedding on the Bella Luna and it was so enjoyable! The captain was very friendly and very likable. The tour was great and kept the entire trip entertaining! 10/10 would recommend!

I had my birthday party on Bella Luna Yacht. I wanted my friends and family to dance and party with me while taking in the city sights of San Diego Bay. Bella Luna was the perfect yacht for this. It has a great sound system and a large dance floor on the second level. That’s why I chose the boat. Since we were drinking and dancing, I also liked how safe the boat felt with railing all around. It’s very spacious and Captain John was great to work with! I definitely will be back!!! Bella Luna is the best dance party boat on the bay!

Captain John and his crew made our bay cruise amazing. The attention to detail from the onset was truly appreciated. The Bella Luna is one of the premier party boats in San Diego. Perfect for corporate events or family and friends fun! We’ve had the chance to enjoy her on a few occasions and could not recommend the Bella Luna and her crew more! Five stars all the way, baby!

Have been to many events on the Bella Luna as it’s the charter boat us locals love to rent. Fun professional staff, lots of space up top for dancing or sightseeing. Great for all kinds of events. It’s a beautiful boat.

My brother and I had our birthday party here last weekend during the waterfront music festival. Captain John and his first mate were the best, they took us right up to the festival like we were VIP. Once we were tired of that he took our party of 40 people to some killer spots around the bay and a very up close and personal view of the midway. When the first mate wasn’t busy he was behind the bar making our drinks. We brought our own alcohol and food and they helped us set up everything! It was the best birthday party we ever had and every single person on the boat had a wild time! To be honest I didn’t really get so see much of the view because we were having such a great time on the boat with our guests. I don’t know the type of sound system they had but it basically sounded like Dolby atoms surround sound. Thank you Captain John we’ll be back soon!Boat fit 40 people with plenty of people, there’s a bar inside that’s absolutely perfect. Highly recommend. 10 stars

I was on Bella Luna for a birthday party. At least 30 plus. We toured San Diego Bay and danced on the upper deck while the city’s buildings were the backdrop of this magical early evening. John was a great Captain, Definitely a day to remember.

Captain John was great! We all had an awesome time on the yacht. I had a Spotify playlist made ahead of time which was fun to dance and sing to while on the boat. We stopped by and saw seals, landmarks of San Diego like the Midway and Portside Pier. Would highly recommend and we will be going back!

On Sunday Oct. 4th, I booked the Bella Luna Yacht, for a 70s80s rock theme Friendship Cruise, with 30 of my amazing friends, Captain John Valente & his son, took care of our every needs. It was a amazing day on the water, the sights were awesome, fun, the sound system was the best on the harbor. In October 2019, I was a guest on the Bella Luna for my Uncles 70th birthday party. We all had so much fun that when I was put in charge of planning our office Holiday party I immediately contacted Captain John. All my co-workers and my boss had the best time! Everyone was able to walk around and talk with each other which does not get to happen while at a restaurant. Everyone had an amazing time and was constantly smiling, laughing, and loving life. Captain John is wonderful! Rain was in the forecast so him and I were keeping in touch about whether or not we were going to get rained out. Thankfully we did not and the rain stopped in time for us to still have a blast on the water. I think we will be doing the Bella Luna again next year as anything else will fail in comparison

Bella Luna is a wonderful yacht. We always have the best time with Captain John. The boat is a good size for 30 guests. They have a bar area, interior cabin, top deck and the bird perch. The top deck is awesome to dance under the stars. Highly recommend Bella Luna Yacht

John is the best Captain and the Bella Luna is definately the place to take your party. I jave been on the Bella Luna at least 8 times for all types of events. John and his crew definately will make your party as if you were part of his family.
