I highly recommend this office for insurance, I had my mom switch because they also speak Spanish and she loved that.

Worst Agent Ever! I wish that I can put negative star!My husband is active military member and we were stationed in oversea for over five years. Finally we came back and went back to State Farm for our new vehicles insurance. We had been loyal to State Farm all the time and we didn’t really had issue. Even there was, once we talked to agents, they fixed right away. We got really high quote by online, and by our address, we were assigned to Ashton.Our premium was 16 year old kid in super sports car price. We have contacted her by phone, text and email, but always take forever to get reply. Anyway, she told us that it’s because we don’t have any driving record for last five years. So we provided no-claim report from our insurance company in oversea for the five years. Then she told us that my driving record for some years in states are missing too, even I was insured by State Farm for those years. I gave her my no accidents/no traffic violations proof for last 20 years, she told us there is no way to lower our rate except bundle with other insurance which is we don’t need and make our monthly payment higher...My in-laws have been with State Farm forever and actually have life long friend agent in back my husband’s hometown. We asked his opinion about our rate to see is it’s because it is California rate. He told us even he cannot understand why our rate is ridiculously high. HE tried to contact with her and asked us to give her little time. We never heard anything from her about it. Instead we had a couple phone call to refinance our vehicle loan....They work for their direct profits, but never for customers.Worst part.... My husband called her office, no answer (which is always) and left message. Her assistant called him back Immediately(which never happened before). He ask the reason for cancellation. My husband told him because we are covered by different insurance company for more coverage with less than half price. Then the guy HANG UP on my husband.... WOW....If you are really like State Farm, don’t go to this office. Because of this experience, we never go back to State Farm.

If youre looking for a State Farm agent, look elsewhere. I moved from out of state where I had a great agent and choose this agency since it was local and female owned. Even getting a quote took me following up and I should have moved on at that point but I realize how busy and overwhelmed these agents are. Chris helped me get set up and unfortunately my out of state homeowners insurance was cancelled when he put my California renters insurance in place. My home was on the market and my out of state agent caught the mistake. No biggie, things happen and I was told it was taken care of. Within a month I get a refund check from SF - the $ had been taken from the escrow account of my mortgage so Id basically been debited for my homeowners premium double. Online and speaking with both agents, I was unable to get exact figures of the policy dates, reinstatement, and understanding of how this happened. I went by the office to talk through things and Chris held on to the check. After calling my mortgage company I realized what had happened and asked for the refund check back. LONG STORY LONG - it took over FOUR months, 50+ emails, me following up weekly with Chris to get this solved. I cancelled my policies with them because if its this difficult to handle an account issue I cant imagine dealing with a claim. I hate to leave a negative review, but this was such a pain I want to warn others.

My family and I have had 5 or more vehicles insured through this office for 30+ years. The original agent was Dale who has passed away, he was amazing beyond explanation. Since then, another gentleman took over who was also helpful. Ashton has been a complete disappointment and very demeaning to say the least.My father is old school and always filed claims in office or dropped off any necessary documents. This does not work for Ashton and we have realized she will dismiss anything that is brought to her so that she doesnt have to deal with it. On June 8th, I needed a simple tow and my father dropped off the receipt at Ashtons office for a reimbursement check.A week later, I called to follow up on it and she was pushing to get me off the phone and directing me to the claims department. After trying to explain that I just wanted a quick check on the status, we realized that she never put the claim in because the receipt was torn and didnt have the vehicle information on it. The receipt was missing a quarter inch piece on the bottom left corner where the rip the sheet out of their receipt pad. The vehicle information was clearly printed on the form, still I provided her with the vehicle year, make and model. I asked why I hadnt been told about the missing information (considering I cant read her mind and wouldnt have known that she didnt submit the claim) so that I could provide it and get the process completed. Ashtons response was that I should have submitted it online myself in the first place.Today, July 7th, I called the claims department to check on the status and to my surprise, it STILL hasnt been submitted.This is just my personal experience with Ashton, my father has had two similar instances where Ashtons office blatantly avoided dealing with him all together. She has been very condescending, disorganized and unwilling to help loyal State Farm policy holders.We are officially transferring our policies to another agent and are extremely excited to get back to the genuine care and customer service weve always received from State Farm.

Ashton Ellis is the most incompetent agent ever! Ashton is un-organized, useless, lazy, blamed her employees for failure of any issues regarding insurance claims. Previous agent Dale was 100 times better than her. She does not know how to file a claim correctly. If I could give negative rating, I would. She does not know what is going on in her own office. She is almost never in her office and does not have any of her employee cover the calls. I have to file my own claim online. She is totally out of touch with the reality and her position and puropse of her job. When I asked her to do her job, she was very condescending and all stressed out.

Trash. Messed up my quote. No apology, just a bill.
