Really great team here! They were quick to get us on their schedule, despite the inclement weather now in San Diego, and their repair service was affordable. I cant say enough about the quick and honest work they did fixing our refrigerator . Planning to call them in the spring to repair our sprinter airstream fridge too! Thank you Econo appliance.P.S. Adam was great!

I needed four appliances checked out for repair and/or maintenance. Econo quoted a very reasonable price to come check them out, Brandon called, gave me an arrival time frame which I very much appreciated and arrived within that time frame. He was extremely professional and knew what he was doing. He told me what needed to be done, gave me options, never pushed, and expertly fixed what needed fixing. I am very impressed with Econo Appliance Service, will use them again, and plan to tell my friends about them.

I have a side job doing baking and catering work, so when my oven went out, it really was a huge deal for me. These guys had the part in stock and were at my house for the repair within an hour of my call. The service guy (Martin?) was professional, quick, and clean with the repair. I highly recommend this company.

I am very displeased!! Be very careful before you have these guys come out that the parts are still unavailable for your appliance. I was charged $85 for them simply writing down the serial number and I was told by the technician that he would be back in about a week with the parts. Never got a return phone call had to call Several times Before I was told the parts were not available any longer ! but I was still charged full price for doing nothing!!! I I suggested bringing this appliance in to their shop but they told me it would be quicker to have technician come out. I feel this is a scam just to get the $85 since they know that a lot of these older appliances parts are not available!!

I have used these guys a couple of times and they are awesome! They thoroughly explain what they are doing, whether it makes the most sense to repair or replace, and are done with the job in 20 minutes. Their techs are really friendly and professional.

6 months after Adam, manager of Econo, and I ran into our differences, he stalks me to find out where I work. He, then, proceeds to submitting a form on my employers website making false accusations regarding my legal status at 1:46am! Beware of this company because they will harass you months later!

Repairman Victor was on time, courteous, and informative about repairing our 22 year old Subzero. Cost was about what we expected and if we can get another few years out of the Frig then well worth it.

Weve worked with Econo Appliance in the past and they are fast, efficient, reasonably priced and do good work. Id suggest giving them a call.

Completed the job quickly but definitely overcharged. Look for other places before calling. Changing an igniter should not cost almost $200.

On 8/5/14, I called Econo Appliance to give me a second opinion on my refrigerator (it wasnt keeping cold consistently), after having San Diego Appliance Repair give me a rushed diagnosis a few days earlier that seemed suspicious. In direct contrast with the previous tech (who was in a big hurry, and literally was in and out in a few minutes, without even pulling the fridge out), Econos tech (Jeremy) was VERY polite, thorough, and explanatory. He pulled the refrigerator out, took off the panel, and all-in-all, probably spent over a half-hour here, carefully checking things, to make his diagnosis. Unfortunately, the news was bad (the compressor was failing, most likely due to failing ball-bearings), but, not surprisingly, the part the other company said had failed (the condenser fan) was working fine (the fan was spinning properly) the whole time the Econo tech was here. Glad I trusted my gut and called Econo for a second opinion.I was also impressed that, rather than give me a $500 quote to repair the compressor (which Jeremy very well could have done), he had the customer service skills and integrity to advise me what was in MY best interest (not just their companys), which was to just buy another fridge, because the repair wouldnt be worth it. So, yeah, I have to buy a new fridge, but if I wouldve went with San Diego Appliance Repair, I wouldve ALSO been out of $349 on TOP of that. One side note: Econos web site incorrectly says that they have an A+ BBB rating. I was, to be quite honest, VERY disconcerted when I went to the BBB site and found that they, in fact, have an F rating... but luckily, I read further on their BBB page, and saw that the only reason for the F rating is because BBB has requested they remove the BBB A+ logo on their web site, and they still havent. Otherwise, theyve been in business since 1984, had a BBB file since 1997, and only have ONE complaint against them, which BBB says BBB found business made good faith effort to resolve complaint but customer not satisfied with business response. And, if you read Econos response to the customer, it does look very possible that customer was actually being unreasonable. So, the irony is, if theyd just take the BBB A+ thing down from their site, theyd probably have an A+ rating with the BBB. :) I notified someone there about it, and she explained that theyve tried, but they have been unable to find a web developer who can get into their site and fix it so far. I hope they fix it soon, since it could chase off some customers from what seems to be a legitimately good appliance repair company.

My Kenmore washer broke around noon, Friday, just before the weekend wash rush! Sears couldnt come out for 4 days. These guys could came round 2 hours after my call, their call out rate was almost half that of Sears, and the work was done there and then and I was back washing by 3:30! Excellent job.

I had my home fridge fixed by another company a month ago and was charged $339. My work fridge is identical and has a identical problem but this time I was charged $145. Not only was it cheaper but the service guy was very friendly.
